We had a girls night out here. Everyone was very entertained. We ended up with some really cute mementos!
The kids had a blast! Lots of choices for painting and plenty of paint. The staff was super patient with the kids and everyone had fun. Great experience! We will be back.
So happy to see this place reopened after the initial COVID shutdown. All Fired Up is a great place for a date, a Saturday afternoon with the family, or even a girls outing. If I lived closer, Id be there way more often. Go check it out and help support a small local business in these tough times ️
Loved this place and the ambiance. The staff is super helpful with advice on painting and decorating your piece by free hand or using stencils. The pitcher shown is with stencils and the other two were drawn free hand by two members of our party. Bring your own snacks or drinks as they do not provide. Recommend for groups or solo visits. Location is close enough to walk to Park Avenue shops and restaurants.
Super cool place! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable!
Great place to for up your imagination with porcelain pieces you paint, and get fired up with your friends!
I love this place! The customer service is awesome, and the idea behind the whole thing is awesome!
This place is relaxing and fun. Good music playing while painting and can have food and drinks as well.
Great place to come and relax. Amazing staff. Very cautious and sanitary.
This is a fun place to go with a friend or in my case, my adult daughter. It was very relaxing to get to hang out and glaze ceramic pieces. Some of the bisque is pretty pricey though. We found it best to chose something small to start out with. The pieces came out lovely after they were fired. Once you glaze your bisque, you leave it for a few days so they can fire it in their kiln, then you go back to pick it up.
This place was a lot of fun they do not judge and enjoy helping out others they are fighting to stay in business so please visit when you can it’s very very enjoyable️
Love it here! Havent been in forever like years and the young lady was so so helpful!!!! Loved it and had so much fun
Clean (Covid safe), Professional, helpful and no judgement at all they love everyone and love kids!! Please check them out and help them stay in business they have been around for 20yrs
Went here for a corporate event, staff is great and willing to help. Love the fact that you can bring drinks and snacks while you paint. Really fun time and awesome for a family outing with your kids or significant other. Will definitely visit here again. See pictures of the finished Spiderman cup I painted.**If my reviews are helpful, please dont forget to give them a !**
A fun place for adults and kids. You can put your talents to work and just spend time creating. For kids of all ages it is a fun place to entertain themselves and make something to be proud of.
Was thinking to bring kids but too many negative reviews against kids. If its true you dont like kids then just put a sign adults only. Its your private establishment and you can do that. There isnt anything most beautiful in this world to have children explore the meaning of art and that can even be done at home which I rather do instead of people not being kind to my kids. I cant say I will never go back because I havent been there and its because of negative reviews of being rude to children. I can say...Ive never been and never will. Be kind and be nice to people any ages, be compassionate with others and learn to love.
We had a great time here! Such a fun date night idea. Jade is great and super helpful. Cant wait to see our finished pieces next week!
The staff is tremendously helpful and kind to both myself and the friends I bring. I always recommend this as my pottery painting go-to and sometimes I have a itch to go paint if I havent been in a while. Its a B.Y.O.B. and snack friendly place too! I highly recommend All Fired Up to everyone I know.
Super cute place for a date night or girls night. You can bring your own wine and snacks. It’s fun to pick your own piece and paint it. Some of the larger pieces can be more expensive but overall pretty reasonable.
This place is great! Its a great place to spend some time with a friend or s.o. and just relax for an hour or two as you paint some pottery. They have a great selection of pottery to choose from and a lot of colors. The staff are super friendly and really help you out with everything. Great for people of all ages and all artistic ability!
Great place to take the family
Very disappointed. The service here was truly the worst. You would think a business that is built on customer service would treat customers with kindness and respect. Not here. They treated us with utter disregard.I would be surprised if this particular location stays in business.
Amazing place for any occasion
This place is great! Great selection of pieces, very helpful staff and a fun, clean atmosphere. We havent picked up our items yet, but so far, is recommend this place!
My wife mary and daughter met an amazing associate by the name of Sara who accommodate our party this was an awesome experience they made us feel so welcomed had excellent customer service and is a fun place my daughter in law bachelorette party was a hit thank you sara and associate
Cute spot! Great location in downtown Winter Park. Staff was very helpful and friendly. They had a smaller selection to choose from than I was expecting. Still made for a fun girls’ day!
Ive been going to All Fired Up for many years. The staff is very helpful, location is extremely clean and convenient and have never felt rushed (we usually take our sweet time). My only complaints are that prices are a bit high and they have a ridiculous policy that if you break something, you pay full price (obviously would be more fair to pay their cost and purchase another at full price). Luckily no one in my party has ever broken anything there as that would be my last time at AFU. So as of now, Ive only had great experiences there for me and family.
I love this place!! The people are awesome! And painting pottery is cathartic for me. So...
Had the unpleasant experience of painting pottery here, today. Employees were disgustingly rude. Jackie was rude, condescending and wholly unpleasant to our party and many others we witnessed. Dont waste your money at this overpriced, poorly run establishment.
The owner was super nice and helpful!
Great place to spend a couple of hours.
Quaint little place with very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of pieces to choose from. We had a great time. I look forward to painting another piece soon.
This is an interesting pottery painting studio. There are numbered bottles for colors and there are pictures of hue layers. When finished, you go to the counter. It gets glazed and baked. You pick it up the following Sunday. I have gone multiple times.
After calling several days in advance to let them know wed be bringing a party of children, we were sadly disappointed when we arrived. The employees were incredibly unpleasant and blatantly mean to the children, who were perfectly well behaved, polite and far more mannered than any of the employees. We will never go back.
We had the EXACT opposite experience as others posted. Staff was rude, and NOT helpful. Came to pick up pottery and they didn’t even wrap them? Just handed us our pieces. Will be taking our business elsewhere.
Always a good time. Great place for family quality time
I love this place. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There are always one or two pieces we want to paint and the prices are reasonable. Its great for a date night, with a group of friends or to bring the kids for some creative entertainment.
This place is the bomb!!! Great rainy day activity. So many pieces to choose from...
Jade and Rachel are FANTASTIC! They have such patience and know how to make you feel right at home.Great atmosphere and great variety of things to paint and colors! We had 7 people and were comfortably seated! We will be back for sure!I got some more painting to do!
My granddaughter loves doing anything craft oriented. Even though this establishment is about an hour drive from where we live, it was well worth it! As first time guests we were clueless as where to begin and what to do. I found that the staff were not only energetic and enthusiastic, but also extremely helpful. Because it was my first time, I had quite a few questions and each staff member that was approached was readily available and more than welcome to accommodate me. I went on a Saturday and it was extremely busy to say the least, however the staff still remained calm and attentive. (about a thirty minute waiting list) They walked around each individual table making sure if you needed anything and even personally addressed and encouraged the younger kids. I even noticed a young couple, with no children, painting pottery. This is a great family place for young and old alike! My 4 year old granddaughter had an amazing time and cannot wait to return to create more memories!!
Great selection, friendly staff, fun times!
Great place to relax with friends. A great place to hang out thats not a bar.
Ive been to this place numerous times over the last few years, usually on a Friday or Saturday night. The concept is simple-minded purchase blank pottery to paint, and they fire it for you. Staff is consistently helpful but never in your face. This is good, unless you need a lot more guidance. Theres a wide assortment of items and really something to fit every budget. In comparing it to a similar place that used to be on the east side, (no longer in business) I do wish the staff came around more and offered helpful tips, especially since many people who go here arent artists. At my last visit in December of 2017, theyve added free popcorn, and the sales of some drinks! Overall this is a good date-night, girls night, or even a simple cathartic activity if you just want to be alone.
This has always been a go to place for us when we want to paint pottery with the family. It has a great atmosphere, customer service and awesome location. But I have found their selection to limited when I went in, consisting of mostly Halloween and Christmas items in August. I went in and found some plates and bowls but no mugs and they seemed to be out of a lot telling me they would have more in a few days. I ended up going somewhere else. I would still recommend this place, but if your looking to paint something specific to call ahead and make sure its in stock.
This place is a perfect date spot for something out of the box! I had so much fun and the staff really spend time with you to show you how things are done. They give you helpful pointers to make sure your work comes out the best that it can be. You can bring your own food and wine and make a girls night of it. I recommended this place to a few girl friends with last minute plans that needed to be made and they were not disappointed!
We had a wonderful experience! We had painted baby feet on pottery at a different studio in MD which we enjoyed but comparing experiences All Fired Up wins. There is no studio fee for painting like at other studios so the price comparison was comparable. In MD the studio does not carry Christmas ornaments year round, All Fired Up does. This was the main piece we were looking for because our baby was not going to be a baby at Christmas time. All Fired up has a wonderful selection and helpful staff. They have a system there that is designed to make your experience enjoyable and productive as well as the experience of the other artists. If you go with a willingness to learn and ask questions you will quickly become one of their many regulars keeping them busy all the time. You also do not have to clean up after yourself like you do at other studios.
Love this place! The staff are always friendly and helpful. It’s a great place for families, dates, GNO...just about anything!
Theyre very helpful. You dont have to know how to paint pottery before going there, theyll give you all the help you need to get started.
Cyn is everything!!! Love you!
Calm, relaxed atmosphere where your creative juices can flow. Staff are super friendly and supportive
Definitely bring some snacks. Cool concept, just wish it didnt take another week to get your painted stuff back. But good way to occupy the kids.
Its such a cute place! The staff are very friendly and helpful, the prices are affordable, and I love how you can spend as much time as you need there.
The staff was friendly, encouraging, and helpful. You can use as many colors as you want and stay as long as the place is open to finish your piece. I painted a Sun Ra mug.
Helpful and friendly workers. Great place to bring kids. Have a girls not drinking wine and painting. You can bring a bottle of wine with you.
This is one of the absolute best places you could take your family. so much fun, so creative and no matter how old your kids... the results are always a work of art
If you enjoy quiet time to get your artistic juices flowing, i suggest stopping in sometime. They have nice pieces, some are a bit over priced, but they have a good selection to choose from. They post on groupon frequently which can make your visit much more affordable. Parking is hard to find, so you may have to park across the street.. Dont expect your pottery right away- it takes a week or two to have it fired up and ready for showcasing.
So fun! And they let you bring wine!
If you are looking for something fun and creative to do with others, or solo, this is a great spot! Tons of pre-made ceramic items that you can paint and make them your own. Reasonable prices and fun staff. Will definitely return!
I love painting pottery here. Their pieces are usually between $20-25 but the bigger pieces can get really expensive so pay attention to what youre grabbing. They say it takes a week to glaze but they usually call to let me know its ready a day or two early. Also the parking lot can be hard to find if youve never been. Its on New York Ave across the street, theres a sign saying which one is for them.
We love All Fired Up! They have lots of pieces to choose from and it’s great creative outlet for all ages.
Great place to hang & get artsy!
Very helpful and kind staff, we had 4 kids under 7 there, and they were very patient and helped us with everything. So much fun for the kids and parents too! Lots of choices of ceramics and paints, definitely going back again! Thanks!
Date night with my 10 year old daughter was amazing! Good selection, staff is friendly and very helpful. Great place to take the family or date night with a special someone. Tons of fun and great memories.
Staff is nice. Its quite pricey! I took 11 kids and had a tight budget, but they only had 2 things in that price range and no one wanted to paint those things. So ended up paying way more than what was allocated. They were not willing to work with me. They should have a package for large parties.
Should consider taking reservations. Telling people that have a group of 12 that have coordinated efforts with multiple families in a workgroup they can be put on a wait list and they can then come back does not work well with that much pre-planning for so many people at one time. Anyone who has tried to coordinate with multiple family groups understands this. Saying we should be available in 2 hours is really saying you should go find another activity
I drove 45 minutes to get to this place, arrived an hour and a half before closing, and then was told I couldnt paint anything because they stop taking people two hours ahead. Thats not what the website says. Girl was very rude and not to mention didnt even ask what size pottery I was thinking of. I wanted to paint a very small piece which would have taken less than an hour.Business is business. Definitely never making that drive again.
My boyfriend and I went because he wanted to paint a mug for his birthday. The place is pretty expensive and there isnt a discount for your birthday... not even like, 10% off or anything even though I went there a couple of months ago and the girl I was with got a discount for her birthday. So, $53 for a mug and a small figurine. The heavyset blonde woman was pretty rude to a group of kids that came in with their mothers, basically told them not to touch anything. We havent picked up our pieces yet but Ive been there before and the strict pick up times are a little ridiculous. If the place of business is open you should be able to pick up your piece. I wish Glaze Under Fire was still around in the Winter Park Village. The service, atmosphere, and overall attitude was way better. It was okay for something he has never done before but we probably wont be doing it again any time soon.
Great place to be with family or friends
This place is amazing! Really great service! My wife and I had an excellent time. Lots of colors and items to choose from for painting with and on. Would highly recommend!
Great experience, friendly staff. Would have given a 5 but it was extremely warm inside.
Great staff! They were so friendly and helpful. Ready to answer any question you had about your artwork!
Awesome place! However, they were really limited on items to paint the day I went. Other than that, they are awesome! Lots of fun with friends and family or by yourself.
My wife and I have been painting there for 8 years and we love the friendly environment.
One of my Favorite places to go with my family
Love this place! Hooked!!!
Wonderful place. Will go there again
Awesome people, great atmosphere fun experience.
This is an awesome place to bring your kids! Keep in mind, there ARE people who take the painting pottery cr aft kinda seriously and who go here for relaxation, so if you feel that your kids might run a muck, it might not be the place for you. The prices are decent, considering the fact that it includes the firing. There ar pieces that are anywhere from $10 all the way up to $100+. Just depends on what you feel like painting, really. Oh, another great thing (especially with kids) is that you can bring a full meal in here if you want to!! You could probably even order some Uber Eats to be delivered while youre here if youre gonna spend THAT much time here. They do a great job of explaining all the paints, stencils, brushes, etc. Everything is easy and efficient as well. The staff can be pretty nice too, but theyre not always excited to be at work... but who is!! Lol!
Very casual and cozy paint it yourself pottery studio! Staff is so nice and always ready to help/answer questions.
Cant say I even I painted anything at this business. We were picking out the pottery and deciding what we eanted to do when an employee rudely made approached us a couple of times. It was clear she did not want us, or most likely our kids, there. They were being very well behaved but once we got the hint we just decided to research other pottery businesses.
I went there with my wife and daughter. We picked out our pottery pieces and brought them up to the counter. We were told that it was too late to start because they stop seating at 4:30pm. It was 4:32pm and the place didnt close until 6pm. I told the employee that we would be done in 30-45 minutes and had plenty of time. She said there were no exceptions to the 4:30pm rule. Employees watched us picking out our pottery before 4:30pm and didnt give us any warning. There were only a few people in there making pottery at the time. We put $60 worth of pottery back on the shelf and left. This place will be out of service soon unless the owner fires everyone and starts over with new employees.
Big fun with friends, family, or by yourself. Staff is terrific and helpful.
Fun place to go if you want to be creative and make something for your home or for a gift
I liked this place but I feel that a week is too long to bake the ceramics.
Open late, made for a fun girls night painting party. Plates, bowls, cups, and lots of tools to get creative with like stamps and stencils. 1 week to fire and pick up painted pieces. Average $20/piece (includes studio and firing).
Overall, its a great place to make your own pottery (paint and design rather). It appears the place is set for you to go and do you. In other words, they arent there to hold your hand thru the whole process. Just go and have fun. Be creative. Ive been there about 3-4 times. I rarely talk to anyone there until its time to pay the bill. My wife and I just go, pick out our piece, get any other items needed for painting and were good. We arent pros but we appreciate our final product because we know WE made it.
The customer service at this establishment is absolutely horrible. I went to pick up the piece I had painted earlier this evening to be turned away by the workers, telling me I had til only 4:30p.m. to pick it up. I had paid extra, on the already overpriced piece, for it to be done today rather than a week later. I live about 30 minutes away and made a special trip out to pick this up as it has to be shipped out tomorrow for my boyfriends birthday. I was NEVER told I needed to be there at 4:30, all signs on the door and internet say closing is at 6pm; I came at 5:30pm. The doors were locked but two ladies were still inside. The lady, I am suspecting was the manager by all the bad reviews about her rude attitude, stood behind the counter about 100 feet away and wouldnt come to the door to speak to me, so I had to yell and try to listen through the crack to what she was saying. She FINALLY came over after about 5 minutes of this, and proceeded to tell me, rules are rules. I could see my piece sitting right behind her, and things became very frustrating. I asked to speak to a manager, who she then said wasnt available, although I am suspecting she was the manager. I told her how far away I lived, that I could see my piece behind her, that I had already paid for it, that I had the receipt, and was cut off with, sorry, we cant make exceptions. I have to pick my piece up tomorrow now and it will be late for my boyfriends birthday; I am livid. I will never be back to this place, and suggest all to steer clear as it seems others have felt the same way.
My only wish is that they were closer to where I live! My daughter and I enjoy the relaxation of a few hours painting. There are plenty of projects to choose from, idea books, and paints.
Love this place . Great staff and very relaxing to sit and paint
The product is great and they do a great job firing the pottery.. Ive never had any issue with the pottery. The staff for the most part is horrible.. especially if you bring children. They are mean to the kids even when they are well behaved and are terribly rude in general. I like giving the pottery as gifts to their grandmas so Ive been back several times and have come to expect to be bullied for bringing children. The manager Cyn has been there for years.. and is mean woman.. and HATES children. If its any consolation.. I once saw her and her family at costco and she was just as mean to her husband and son.. so i guess you could say she treats you like family.
I went here for my 16th birthday party with my father and my experience was so-so. The people enjoyed talking to my dad, but not to me. I had a couple questions and they were nice about answering them. However, this manager woman treated me like I was an idiot. I told her Im an experienced artist (for someone whos only 16). Ive been to places like this a million times and my house is full of pottery and other forms of art. Well, she continued to treat me like I was a baby and I really didnt appreciate that. Also, when she told me to mark the bottom of my piece, I asked her if a certain design would be okay to mark it with so it would go with the actual design on my piece and this manager just lost it. I just backed away and washed my hands until she decided to calm herself down and answer my question. Im so glad it was time to leave after that... O.o
Kind, helpful employees. Limited options, Id say a third is mugs, cups. A pottery thatd fit in my hand could be $12 - $16.
Sometimes The Who worker there aren’t so nice, but my family love that place! We spend days there.
Poor selection, overpriced, and terrible service. Extremely rude and watched our every move. The strict instructions were terrible, the person who told us them made it seem like if we forgot them, she wouldnt bother to tell us again. Questions were answered very bluntly. No enthusiasm- if you hate your job, why work there? Wont be going back, will look for new pottery place!
