Great museum to visit. Definitely worth visiting. Don’t forget to take a walk by the lake after.
One of the best gift shops! Loved the diversity of artwork exhibited.
Andrew was very helpful with limited capacity system and very professional and polite at check-in next day
It was free to visit. I loved how they had fun things for little kids to do, like dress up, pretend play and color. It was very small and I felt website was a little misleading about the art that was available to see. I realize they rotate exhibits, but I guess I was expecting more. Worth a visit!
Lovely little art museum. Wish it was bigger, which is the only reason why I gave it a four star. Then again, there are not very many places you can go for free. I do recommend it if you want to fill 30 min of time on your trip to Winter Park FL.
I liked this museum as it is free. Not the easiest to find for a non-Rollins college student like me! Had to ask help from somebody who worked at Rollins. Was not super impressed with the art, as much of it was abstract. I did enjoy the Black History art and thought it was lovely.
Very nice small cozy museum with a beautiful exposition.
Made it to the Dangerous Women Exhibition! Excellent museum! Highly recommend!
It is pretty small, but a nice place. They have some fun costumes and toys for kids in the front.
Beautiful variety of art.
This is Ana banana telling you like it is. Just happened to see what is the local area...and what a fine. My family Loved it. Small but a must see. People are friendly and tour guide was super and knew all the items. Take time to go see it. enjoy
Exciting, eclectic exhibits that are changed frequently. Admission: Free! Nice gift shop, too. Closed Mondays.Behind the building is Lake Virginia and a groomed walking path alongside it, which will round out your visit.
Awesome and Free. My niece has to write a paper for school about art so we went to go see some. She had a blast looking around for the piece she wanted to use. The Cornell staff was friendly and polite.
Tickets are free of charge! i have gone there over 10 times and every time, i will have almost the entire museum to myself!! there are a few installation rooms, the space is well curated, overall an amazing institution.if you have a few hours with nothing to do, just pop in. enjoy the gift Rollins provides to the public!
Very small presence of art by and/ or featuring people of color. Was followed around by the public safety officer as though there was a problem. This museum was WAY too far from the Sunrail station to justify that walk in this but to be shadowed is questionable seeing as I had not requested a guide or any form of assistance.
Lake Valley HD video was so cool. My favorite.Had a nice time here.
Free art museum...why not? Well curated and designed.
Such an affordable museum. It is one of my favorite places to go when I am in the area. They have the most beautiful stained glass displays. If you are Catholic and from Long Island,NY, you will especially be fond of this museum. There are so many Catholic stained glass windows and magnificent chapel. There is a section of the museum where it is heavily rooted in Long Island history too.
Small but lots of wonderful art pieces to view
Such a well designed, well thought out selection of art in so many forms. I cant say enough good things. Really suitable for all ages of art lovers. Truly has something to appeal to everyone. Not a huge museum but you can easily spend a couple hours enjoying it.
An amazing experience with some beautiful art pieces with plaques that give you a great amount of information on both the piece and the artist. I have to add that the staff doesnt hover above you making it a very chill and enriching experience. I would recommend this place to anyone that is near the Winter park area and is looking for something to do for an hour or two.
I was hoping for more exhibits. Also, there was some type of study or tour group in one of the rooms so we could not go in.
A gem on Rollins campus. No admission fee. A very nice selection of painting, photography and sculpture. Can see all in 2 hrs or less. Its on the lake so a very nice area for a stroll before or after the museum. A nice place to visit on a Sunday afternoon. Check online for for times - they vary depending on day - or any special exhibits.
Fabulous museum, fantastic staff. Great place for field trips.
Very interesting way to get in touch with winterpark and the history involved
Beautiful museum
Some kid was yelling and the staff picked up the 10ft tall ruler and layed the smack-down on him.
Great art! Free admission. Parking reserved for museum patrons.
Anyone that complains about free admission is a dummy. It is a free place that one can experience art. It is a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Dont get me wrong this place is good and has enough paintings to look at especially for it being free. The front desk lady was very nice and even gave me a receipt that I could show my college professor I went to a museum. Heres the problem there is a security guard who is older there was not too.many people there but literally every room I went to he followed at about a three ft difference not acknowledging anybody as closely. At one point I tested out to make sure if he was just following me by going to one room and getting to the next and there he was. I really started to feel uncomfortable especially me being a young woman. I am fully aware that a security guard has a job to do but I was clearly singled out and I could not understand why. This experience has led me to not want to come back for any future projects even though the place itself was pretty awesome!
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The exhibits are thoughtfully placed. Its not a very large space, but its a great way to spend an hour or two if you enjoy art, plus its free. Its located in a great area as well, on Rollins campus. The area is beautiful and theres plenty to do within walking distance before or after visiting the museum.
A great little art museum. We were visiting for a short run show call Dangerous Women. It was a great show.
The place is beautiful and well maintained. It was a wonderful visit. Only negative if you want to call it that is, it is smaller than I thought it would be, but that was probably just what I put in my own head. Beautiful and wonderful experience for myself, my 4 yr old daughter and 13 yr old son. My 8 yr old son is not interested in art yet.
Interesting if you like this type of art.
A small gem, wonderful spot. Very hard to park: VERY hard. Plan ahead. Guides can be a little intrusive, come up with a polite comment that conveys how much interaction you want. Rollins is a no-miss stop for culture lovers in Winter Park.
Free admission, good collections. Some stuff for kids to do too. I came here for the Margaret Bourke-White exhibit and was impressed.
Not really into this kind of art. Nice building. Beautiful campus
Very small collection, however, no admission. If youre close by and have an hour to spare, dont miss it.
It was nearly impossible to give any of your attention to the art because the guard would follow you around the entire room watching you and staring at you. i understand people touch things they shouldnt, but when you have a guard who literally runs to follow you and watch you, its uncomfortable. ditch the guard with loud keys and constant knee cracking.
Excellent exhibits. Welcoming staff. And, its free!!!!
A hidden gem! Great museum with friendly staff.
Beautiful place. Unexpectedly delightful. Staff doesnt hover, you are allowed to look, sit and enjoy. We also walked outside. Really nice place! Will go back.
A great little museum, perfect to take your kids. And the best part it is free.
I had to go here for a class and it was a good experience
Small but nice museum. Best part, free!!
It was very quiet and relax tour inside.
One of my favorite local museums. Elizabeth Coulter is the best!
Best of the university museums.alwsys free admission. Great opening show events.
Good collection of art of different styles and time periods
Great location, small but well organized with nice pieces of art, and is free.
Small museum but well laid out, and its free! Lots of good art here.
It was a lovely experience and the guided tour was very informative and fun.
Great art muzeum
Amazing experience. Amazing people. Great vibe.
A bit of a smaller space, but beautiful works nonetheless.
Lots of interesting art and the workers are very friendly!
Its a small museum with three or four sections but I easily spent two hours there. Plus its free due to a donation from a generous donor. there are some nice pieces from different eras. You dont have to be a huge art scholar or fan because im not, but some of the pieces did captivate me and had me looking deeper into the meaning of things. The Rollins College campus also beautiful. Its small but has a different feeling then the rest of the city. Its almost from a different era. I would definitely go again.
A great cultural experience for families! A treasure for Alumni and friends!
Awesome small museum. Everything interesting and high quality.
Very lovely place. Good exhibition and fun hands-on artwork open to visitors.
Very impressive art, parking is free but hard to find
Small, but decent.
Great museum, thanks for the intro to Ms. Brodell’s work.
Great information about the art provided by knowledgeable tour guide.
Great hidden treasureKids enjoyed
Interesting exhibit on events in history and our perception of those events. You might have to park a few blocks away, but admission to the museum is free!
Exhibit on powerful women was amazing.
Great collection in a small charming location with knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Loved the Toward Impressionism show in March!
Great, free museum to enjoy. If you have time and are in the area, spend an hour here!
Very nice museum.
Beautiful Dutch and Flemish paintings.
Nice place very educational and delightful
Very nice surprise.
Took the bus all the way from Orlando to find this nonsense. Boo!
Nice quiet museum. Theres a path you can take to walk around the lake.
I love Rollins
Weird stuff.
