Course was in good shape. Greens were above average speed. Will be back!

Very nice staff and course inn great shape

This is like my home course. I had surgery on my back that kept me from playing for a year and a half. On my return the course was awesome unfortunately my game was notBut it was fun to get back to Olde Homeplace.

Good course to get better at, not Augusta but a good course to work all the clubs in your bag. Greens are a little crabby and divets in places but it is usually a great place to play with friends and have a good day.

Great coarse and practice facility . Driving Range and a separate chipping green from putting green. Both have real grass .

Very friendly staff, great price, greens were very true, and course was in good condition even after a ton of rain. Pace for play was great. A very fair course for all levels of play. We live an hour away but well be back soon.

Challenging. Good fairways and greens

The course is in great shape and well manicured as always. The only problem are the greens which have way too many ball marks not being repaired by those trying to set speed records for fast play and dragging their feet and not taking any effort to repair either. Management was very friendly and play was great!!! Highly recommend this course.

The worst!Called 2 weeks before a company gold game needing 4 tee times for 8 AM. Brian said the call the week of and everything should be fine and he could accomodate us! Called the week of and he had already booked our tee times...This could have all been avoided if he would have put us down 2 weeks prior when we had called.Extremely unprofessional.Our company will not go back!

Greens are very good. Almost always. Price is great ! When fairways come in, the course plays tougher. No beer, but, can bring your own. Very nice to everyone in clubhouse. Great hot dogs. Not a championship course, but, how many of us are super stars !! Very nice layout.

For the middle of January the course was in excellent condition. Pace of play was no problem. Cost of the play was reasonable. The carts are very helpful for yardage which of course speeds up play.

Good prices. Greens were a little rough last week, but its still early in the season. 4-18-19. Pretty course overall. Medium difficulty.

Nice course. Not a country club, but better condition and more interesting layout than the average course in the area.

Thos is a great golf course to play. I love the addition of the GPS on the carts. It really helps with hole location and distance to the hole. On the other hand, it can be a pain on cart path only days as it will shut off by going slightly off the cart part (unintentionally). Then you had better hope your reverse driving skills are good to get back on the path.

Friends and I love to play golf here. Well kept course and fun to play. However the carts can be annoying. They sometimes will slow down suddenly if you are not close to the greens or staying off the course when wet. They can be buggy but the course makes up for it.

Fair golf course that is currently in really good condition (July 2018). New carts with GPS.The course is pretty open which takes away from some of the scenery of a golf course, but the condition made up for that.No beer is sold at the course so bring your coolers!

One of the best hidden gems golf courses in the Trial. Fairways and greens are in excellent shape. You will use all your clubs. Great staff and you can save $2 if you use cash.

The course was in great shape for February. The carts have been upgraded with GPS touch screens for yardage and to be able to see where carts are on blind shots. For the price, this is an excellent course and the staff has always been friendly every time Ive been here.

Love it, but it can be busy! Make sure to book a tee time.

I always enjoy playing here. Front nine holes are interesting and fun, but the difficulty factor goes up on the back. No alcohol, but coolers welcomed. Reasonable price and great range and practice areas.

Golf course operators are having a difficult time taking care of their courses because of the weather. The Charles family has .done a great job here under the circumstances

This is a decent golf course for the area. Its not plush, nor is it super challenging, and isnt a extremely interesting layout. But its a good golf course, press the right and the staff are friendly and helpful. If youre looking for a resort-style course, this isnt the place to look, its just a good course to get in 18 when youre in the area

The greens are in pretty good shape but its pretty bad when you cant tell where the fairway ends and the rough begins, Ive got one word LAWNMOWER!!!! Heck, the tee boxes were mown better than the fricking fairways. If you can drive the green on every hole then go out and play otherwise dont waste your time or money, I know I wont anymore!!!!

Fun golf course to play. Enjoyed the course and the staff is very friendly.

It was okay but probably not worth $39 especially since they charge you a $2 service fee to use a credit card in the Pro Shop and the course is just average. They also do not serve sell or allow beer in the clubhouse so that may be a deal-breaker for most guys who play golf. Very green and lush but even fairways were cut a little too long so not much roll.

Decent course, often pretty crowded and a bit over priced imo. The course has a few challenging holes, but for the most part you have to work to lose your ball. The carts have very modern touch screen gps but are programmed to stop if you get too close to the green or venture off into a restricted area. What is annoying is that these areas are not marked and your are forced to back out at slower than walking speed. At one point yesterday i was doing circles in reverse trying to get back to a cart path. The carts also warn you to keep up with the group in front of you, even when your right behind them. It is nice though that they keep score, tell you where to turn for the next hole and let you see where the group in front of you is. Love/hate. The slow reverse is enough to make me want to play elsewhere.

Course in fair condition, fairways not mowed close enough, goose grass coming up on the greens, had a one of the worst games since I started playing.

Course was very nice but their new GPS electronic Golf Carts are a nightmare in themselves.

Greens were smooth, little hard. New cart GPS system REALLY IS IN CHARGE. DO NOT GO WHERE YOU SHOULDNT.

Great conditions. Short, straightforward course. A few tough holes, but definitely a course you can score well on. Friendly staff and well run.

Greens are in excellent shape. Fairways are great. Ball sits up good. Practise tees are in better shape than other courses.

Have enjoyed playing here in the past, however will not come back. The course charged full price despite SEVERAL fairways that you have to move your ball out of and 2 Par 5s where you have to tee off at less than 200 yards. This would have been fine had they informed us beforehand. When we approached management about this, they were not concerned in the least. In fact, they told us that no golf course informs people if the course is under restoration, which is not true (even golf now posts that information). Not even an apology. If you decide to try here, be sure to ask specifics regarding condition of the course!

Straightforward, but interesting, layout. Always in excellent condition. Enjoyable round for golfers of all abilities.

Course is in wonderful shape but the greens are kept pathetically slow .. very fun course to play ok prices practice area is wonderful but the greens are the reason this course is getting a low score you have to hammer the ball from 10 feet to be near the hole .. every put is straight despite ungulation due to the greens kind of kills the course course is in great shape but the greens are so terribly slow its almost not worth playing

Played on 07/12/2015. Course was in bad shape. As another reviewer stated, one of the par 4s and one of the par 5s were both played as par 3 holes as the fairways were in terrible shape. No mention of this when we made our tee time or when we paid to play, and we were still charged full price. The greens were in good shape, but all the fairways were bad. I would take my money to Maple Leaf right down the road or Pine Knolls on the north side of Kernersville, they are both in much better shape right now.

Great golf course, Greens and fairways are in better shape than any other course around. It is also family owned and operated.

I will never be back!!! Ive been golfing here for many years and over time I find myself going back less and less but today was the last straw. Not only were they rude to us on several occasions over day like we did not matter to them by letting people with no tee time jump in front of us on the back 9. Not only that but I prefer to play barefoot from time to time (due to an injury) but apparently they dont allow it because I could leave foot prints on the green. They actually stopped our round and made me put on shoes...really guys? On top of all that $40 for a course with multiple busted fairways and waiting 10-15 minutes on each hole before hitting your next shot, instead of packing everyone in quit being greedy and give people some breathing room!
