Always a consistent course, winter conditions with frost delays but still a little over 4hr play so not bad. Greens are in good shape for this time of year.

Fantastic course which a wide range of tee length to suit your ability. The greens are well kept, fairways were in great condition and staff was friendly. The practice facilities are great for warming up before the round. Walking this course would be challenging.

Booked a tee time to play here and got to the course and they had lost my tee time. I then had to wait an hour to tee off and was charged full price. Greens are in rough shape and staff members were rude. Olde homeplace is a much better option if you are in the area

Great place to play with beautiful grounds that create thought provoking shots! Can tell the maintenance staff puts a lot of hard work into the course.

Really great course for all skill levels exceptional drainage when the greens are rolling maybe fastest in for site county.

Easily the most complete GOLF experience outside of the Sandhills. The Bentgrass greens were on the slow side(normal for this time of year) but dead nuts consistent. Greens seemed dated but thats even more a testament to the staff. Layout beats anything not designed by Mike Strantz or Donald Ross within 100 miles.

Course was in great shape. Staff is very friendly and they check to make sure no groups are slowing up your round. Value is great and well worth it. Definitely some challenging shots to be made too so bring your A game. You will be back for more.

Nice challenging course. Not a lot of room for error. The owners have taken action on improving the course. Took some trees out to make sure the greens are getting enough sun throughout the day. I look forward to playing here again!

Good course and layout, but the greens are not fast enough and not consistent. The club house is very lacking too. I think for the price there are much better options.

I played here many times over the 7 years I lived in the Winston area, but got together with my Dad for a round over the holidays and when we showed up to the course, we were double booked with another 3-some. The pro shop girl said that they had forgotten to block off the golf now tee times, which we were using, and our only option to play was to go the back of the pack, of a large group of 4-somes playing their weekly, super seniors outing. We ended up teeing off almost an hour after our booked time, and barfely finished ourt round before dark. Course was in decent shape and typical for this time of the year in NC, but we wont be back to this place again, after this ordeal. They are running on minimal staff and they are pretty disorganized. I hope this place is a little more organized in the peak seasons because this was a disastrous day. 4.5 hours to play our round, hardly on pace.

Excellent golf course. Played at the time of year when leaves have fallen onto the fairways and greens. However, greens are in great shape. Keep an eye on your ball, because the roughs are thick and hard to find your ball if hit into them. Top notch staff.

Played this course at a good price or I wouldn’t have gave it 3 stars.It had been at least 10 years since I played it but like many courses in this area it is starting to go down hill. Too many of the greens are in bad shape. When your ball is bouncing when you putt that is a definite problem. The tee boxes and fairways were ok but couldn’t make up for the problems with the greens.

Another favorite. Dont understand why members dont repair their ball marks on the greens tho.

We were on the course while staff were cutting the grass down range from us. When we asked him to pause for a moment while so we could swing and not hit him, he rudely refused outright. He forced us to wait 15 minutes while he finished cutting.

Great course! Water on many holes. Long, lush fairways. Lots of fairway woods required. Sand traps aplenty.

Course was in good condition. Greens were a little fuzzy since all the rain weve had prevented them from being cut. Unlike many of the courses in the area, there is almost no winter kill. Very reasonable greens feel that includes a hot dog & a soft drink.

Everything gets 5 stars except the greens. only 3 or 4 are decent. the rest are atrocious with lots and lots of dead spots and crabgrass. well try again in the spring. love the course but its not worth playing now.

The greens are still terrible and need to be taken out and start over with Bermuda.

July 13, 2018,Horrible experience. $32 senior rate. Greens terrible. Not a drop of water on the course for golfers and no courtesy beverage cart. Temperature 87 degrees. Never again. Im a golfer not a professional reviewer.

Be warned. These are the worst greens in the Triad. There are more bare spots than grass. And it looks like nobody has repaired a divot on them in 2 years. I cannot believe I paid $48 to play greens in that condition. I am beyond pissed. I asked the head pro after the round why he wouldnt give us a heads up when we made the tee time about the condition of the greens and he shrugged and said We think they are playable. Well, if you consider hitting over bare dirt and weeds and old divots and spike marks from people dragging their feet, you can consider them playable. If I was a dues paying member there I would ask for a refund.If you want to waste your money and if you dont care about the greens, this is the place. But if you actually want to get what you pay for I recommend you play somewhere else. Olde Homeplace, Lexington CC, Pudding Ridge, Winding Creek, Holly Ridge, and even Wilshire. Every one of these courses puts this course to shame, and they cost $10-$15 less. They also give you a heads up about the condition of the course when you make a tee time if there is an issue. Go play where the people actually give a damn about the customers. Meadowlands is not that place.

Course is beautiful but nowhere near 50 dollars beautiful pricing is outragous range is soso but the course is wonderful but for 50 dollars Ill go play Bermuda run and have money left for a burger

Nice course. Holes have varying elevations but I really enjoyed the round. I played on Labor Day 2017 and the price was high in my opinion.

Meadowlands is a well maintained and challenging golf course. My favorite place to play around Winston Salem.

Fun course and very enjoyable to play. Good facilities, driving range, putting, pitching and sand practice. Staff friendly. Recommend

Very nice layout with lots of variety. The rough, however, is way too long. Almost impossible to find your ball until you are right on top of it. Took a lot of the fun out of it.

Beautiful greens

The fairways were ok. The ruff was a little high and there were several greens that had bad spots in them. They were hard to putt on.
