Very gorgeous place! Its sad that only 1 building still stands but its still very interesting to see. The railroad tracks, old building/ stage area, the river and trees (especially in the fall) are altogether breathtaking.

Great place to visit in the summer time !! You can fish on the water go for a walk or have a picnic. And during the 4th of July there are festivities going on along with fireworks. Other than that plenty of business in the area if you need fuel it a bite to eat. Winter time visit I wouldnt really recommend...

Area was largely overgrown around the river. There was a bench overlooking weeds and it was almost covered in weeds itself

Ro

Its a beautiful park, well maintained, and clean! There are several covered picnic tables with a paved trail providing access for everyone. The views of the Sebasticook and Kennebec rivers are spectacular. People fish at the far point where the rivers meet. The park is closed at dark and the town closes it during winter. There is no charge for enterance or parking.

A whole lot of more historical and more impressive sites. It was pretty small and only a corner of the original fort. Not worth the drive.
