Havent been to the movies in Sikes Senter in FOREVER, but I was oh so surprised at what theyve done with the place. The seats are extremely comfortable and heated (I love the heated seats)! It was clean. The bathrooms were clean. I have NO cons whatsoever. Keep up the good work!

Bathrooms smelled bad, but the theater I sat in seemed fine. Would have been better if seats reclined at least a little. Pretty basic movie theater. I would say with how long theyve been around, they should have probably performed a few updates by now. Staff didnt really seem very personable. You sell movie tickets, whats with the attitude? Your life aint hard.

Concession area is still under renovation. New seats are amazing. They are reclining chairs with built-in seat warmers.

Moved here a few months ago from Fl. panhandle and this Carmike is so much nicer than the ones we used there. Based on experience in FL and the reviews here we expected it to smell horrible. Much to our happy surprise it doesnt. Happy to have a good cinema to go to on hot weekend afternoons.

With new management and a remodel, this theater could be competitive with Cinemark. Unfortunately, it has neither of those things.Cons:- No stadium seating, so dont sit behind someone tall.- If its not the biggest film released, you wont be seeing your movie on a normal sized screen.- Several of the screens are damaged and in rooms the width of the screen but the length of a normal theater. Dont sit in the back without binoculars.- The smell. It is not a clean theater and the smell is proof of that.- With all the problems, the prices are the same or higher than their competition. The snack prices are the same way.- The seats are old, not well cleaned and you cannot move the arm rests. On a date? A little larger than other people? Enjoy your confined seating.- This theater does not allow the licensed carry (open or concealed) of firearms. They have the 30.07 and 30.06 penal codes posted above the ticket counter.Pros:- They are not the only theater in town.

If u read the reviews, u were expecting the worst. The floor isnt sticky, my seat is just fine, although the screen is a bit on the small size. My mom and dad went and said the movie, Amy was awesome. They both love Amy Winehouse! It seems the movie, Amy, is too artsy for the Lawton crowd, so they were happy to make the 40 mile drive. Thanks for bringing Amy closer to my parents, they are celebrating their yearly love for one another this week, number 21!!!!Okay. The previews were abnormally lengthy. Just a couple were needed, not ten.

Wish I could rate it 0 stars. This theater is terrible. My husband and I saw a movie Friday. We are new to the area and didnt know what to expect. It is worse than any dollar theater Ive been to and they charge regular prices! The theater stunk, they were understaffed and terribly slow. So much so that we missed the movie we wanted to see because we were waiting in line so long for tickets, got tickets to something else 20 min later and STILL we were waiting in line for popcorn until just before the movie started. We could hear the movie next door in our theater. I have NEVER experienced such a bad movie theater in my life. We will not go here again and will instead wait until movies come out at the Cinemark down the road which is so much nicer and better (we saw a movie there today). I dont understand at all why movies come out here before the other theater.

Good if you like movies

Smells bad, floors are sticky, no stadium seating like the other newer theater in town. Popcorn is always stale and made me sick on two different occasions. It wouldnt be worth it at all, only some idiot always puts the good movies at this mall theater so if you want to see them, you get to suffer through all of that fun. In my opinion its a waste of space and needs to go away completely.

I am a retired/disabled veteran. I went to the movies to see the Purge. While waiting in line, I notice the price for military. When I got to the window I told the young lady 3 tickets and showed her my military ID. When I got the ticket I asked if she had given me the military rate, in which she said yes. I looked at my tickets and notice that it was not the military rate and were at the full price rate. I asked the lady again if it was the military rate and she then said I did not tell her it was military, in which I told her that I did and that I had shown my ID. She gave me a refund for the difference. This is what happen to me on 1 July 2016 at 6:45 PM.My review is that if you are going to advertise giving military discounts honoring our service members, then it should be done with that honor in mind. Please do not get this posting wrong. The price of paying full price does not bother me. It is when someone advertises something and does not honor what they say and argues over their errors.

We love to come to the movies and we come often. We were there on Saturday July 16 and again on Sunday July 17. The theater that we sat in on Saturday night smelled like moldy stinky carpet and the one we sat in on Sunday smelled of garbage and cigarette smoke. It was awful. I seriously considered leaving the theater and going to bath and body works to buy some air freshener. I dont know if the theater is not cleaned and the employees smoke while they are in there or what- but I will probably take my business to the other movie theater in town.

I love that they have most of the new movies but the theater itself is lousy. It needs to be redone. The theaters themselves have a weird smell. I think the theater we were in the AC was broken because it was hot which is not good for the middle of summer. If Im paying the price I am for coke and popcorn I expect a nice cool theater that doesnt smell funny. The floor is so sticky you can hardly walk on it. Its sad to see what was once an awesome theater go downhill.

Is a good place to go to the movies

The theater stinks and feels moldy. The screen is small and you feel like youre in a dirty basement. You are better off driving to Lawton or somewhere else. Cant believe the City does not shut it down.

Picture quality is poor as well as sound. Prices are very high! Conveniently located but expect a lot of teenagers and new airmen.

This place is the worst. I went to get a drink at the concession, but they did not have any fountain drinks. Instead of doing the obvious thing and opening the second concession in the hall, they tried to sell hot 20 ounce bottles of drinks for 4.50 a piece. I applaud them for trying to clean up this location, but they should have thought through the process before beginning. Just like every other time I have been here the experience is always subpar.

By far the worst movie theater with in a 100 miles of Wichita Falls. Its dirty it stinks and you can tell the staff dont want to be there. The screens are small the chairs are uncomfortable and the restrooms are always a disaster.

Cinema is old and in need of a major renovation. I would rather drive to South Lake near Dallas than watch a movie here. Especially since the price of the ticket is the same.

The worst movie theatre in Wichita Falls. The Theaters smell bad, bad service, rude staff, oh and I forgot to mention the tiniest screens youve ever seen. Hell, my 60 TV at home looks bigger that their screens. I wish people would boycott this theatre so that the nice one at Parker Square would get all the new releases.

Literally the worst theater Ive ever been in. The fact that this town hasnt demanded they improve it is beyond infuriating. Why the hell do they get all they good movies!?

Ok. The seating isnt stadium. Someone sat in front & I can no longer see. The seats were ask dirty. It was quaint though.

The AC doesnt work very well. The screens are tiny. The seats and floors need to be cleaned or burned. The staff is usually nice, but some of them are rude, arrogant, and in need of an attitude adjustment. Frankly, driving to Dallas or Lawton is the best way to enjoy movies.

The 10:00 movie didnt start previews until 10:20. The theatre smells like an old gym sock. The feedback coming through the speakers tells me there is some faulty wiring in the system. Maybe if were lucky itll burn this place to the ground.

My husband, brother, his friend and i went today to see to kill the messanger. the movie was good but who ever owns the place needs to put some money into the place we went to sit down and one seat was broken and another seat the back was broken. the seats are not very confie. we had to keep moving around in our seats. we will never go back unless they put some money into the place.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. How this theater has ever passed a health/code inspection is beyond me. If the movie I want to see is playing in this theater and I want to see it bad enough I will drive an hour or two to a different movie theater to see it. Ive have done this several times and I know for a fact that Im not alone here. I cant tell you how many times Ive driven out of town and ran into people I know that went so far out of their way to see a movie for the same reason that I did. To avoid the Sikes Mall theater. This theater is far from the quality that I have come to expect form an AMC location. Have you ever been to an AMC? Theyre awesome. Ive never been to one that I didnt absolutely love. The best theater Ive ever been to was an AMC in Orlando at Citywalk. I am a better person because of that theater. Seriously, it changed me. But I digress. Until this theater undergoes a MASSIVE renovation or is shutdown and relocated I refuse to support the AMC brand. I understand that the current state of this theater is not their fault but the fault of the previous franchise that they bought out, however, they are the ONLY people who can fix it. It would be in AMCs best interest to just start over and leave its current location. Sure its centrally located but its in a location that is overcrowded and has very little parking and not enough space to put in a quality IMAX. In short, we deserve better.

Currently remodeling. No fountain drink but charge $4 for a bottle of Sprite. Theater and screen is small. Hopefully the remodeling will finally fix all of this.

Worst ever!!! This is horrible!!! The drink machines have been taken out a week before the new machines are installed. WHAT?! They dont have anything that is caffeine free unless you want to pay $4.50 for a powerade. This theater should be burnt to the ground and the space used for a public restroom. That is the only thing that this location could be salvaged for. The only reason this place gets business is because its in the mall and they have reduced themselves to the new discount movie theater in town. #burnitdown

Sorry, small, and most of the theater rooms dont have surround sound. Only two do. One time, some kid made a poopy mess and they cleaned up . Lemme tell you, Febreeze and dirty diapers do not mix at all.

I do not like this theatre and will usually not go here, even if I really want to see a movie thats only there. Usually dirty, not a pleasant experience.

Asked for the screen aspect to be fixed, but was not fixed till a manager was asked for. Manager was very apethetic, and seemed like I was bothering him to fix our problem. AMC just bought this theater so we thought these problems would be fixed. We will not be back.

They need to renovate this place badly! Its so dirty and smells like pee in the theatres. Hopefully the owner who purposely puts the bigger movies @ this theatre finally uses the money to fix it up!

Nice and clean

Smells like burnt popcorn and barf. Horrible atmosphere, poor sound quality, and cramped uncomfortable chairs made this theater the worst experience Ive had. Furthermore, seems like they get first pics of all the good movies. Ill be driving to Dallas from now on if its not in Parker Square.

Every theatre smells and is dirty. Dont care for the fact you can not conceal carry in there. You can her the noise from the hallway. Very disappointing since its in the mall.

It’s like watching a movie in an abandoned building. But not in one of its rooms, in a hallway. And the seats are off-center to the screen.I think I sneezed six or seven times from dust alone.

The worst movie theater Ive ever been to. Dirty, uncomfortable seating, and low quality projectors.

The floors are sticky, the seats are uncomfortable and pretty much even the entire length so you can’t see over others in front, the rooms smell moldy, the people who work there are great, but other than that I don’t recommend it, would rather drive to Lawton for movie releases.

Small screens, over priced tickets and concessions, and quite frankly disgusting. I think the worst part is that the owner of this place also owns the other theater in Wichita Falls. The owner plays all top seller movies at the crappy theater, which is a shame because I refuse to go to the Sikes theater.

The seats are uncomfortable. Movie was to start 10 pm and for the last 20 minutes we had to listen to music, I didnt pay money to listen to music, and look at the same ad. We dont plain on ever coming back to this theatre.
