Great place to take your dog, theres a small dog park, open field, basketball court, playground, swing set, gazebo, and a climbing feature suitable for grade school kids. There is also bathrooms on site and a dirt path around the common area for walking/jogging. Avoid going there at night as the surrounding hotels attract a questionable crowd along with police almost nightly.
Great playground for the kids. Real nice dog park. And a pretty nice walking path. Wheat ridge parks does a great job keeping it cleaned up and very nice.
Bring your own water and sunscreen/hat/sunglasses when its warm. The people who come here have known each other for years and are friendly and close knit. They often bring a water supply for each other. Some even come pick up any leftover poop to help keep it clean. Love this park. Be on your best behavior and dont bring your aggressive dog inside, and youll have a great time.
A pleasant place to sit back and enjoy brief moments of nature.
My wife and I accidentally found this gem of a park one day and couldnt have been more thrilled to let our dog play along with other dogs in this huge fenced-in clean park. Trash cans are always emptied and dog bags are always there in case someone forgets. And a side for dogs that are small along with a side for dogs that are large making it easier to separate and keep conflict low and fewer.
Nice quiet park. Decent play ground, basketball hoops and off leash dog runs. One for big and little dogs. Picnic tables and plenty of open grass and bathrooms.
It was very clean and my puppy had plenty of room to run around. They also have benches for the puppy parents to sit lol
My puppies love it. They look forward for me to get home from work so they can go to the park.
Well maintained dog park fully fenced in with a small and large dog area. Usually there is only a good crowd of dogs on the weekend when the weather is nice.
Took the dog to the dog park!! She had a blast running & playing with the other dogs!!!
Dog park is your average dog park but the people there were very friendly and kind. Above average people and dogs!
Great park in Spring/Summer/Fall. Not so much in depth of winter.
My wife and I needed to bring our standard poodle and terrier gremlin mix to the park for outdoor time. The park was great with double gates and poop bags for their sheeit. We had a good experience.
Love to come to this park. With how high the fence is pup is unable to just jump over them.
I just moved to the area and we have a big dog that needs space to run around in. For the past 2 weeks of taking him on a fairly regular basis I’ve watched two fights (one verbal, one physical) & personally been screamed at for my dog being “aggressive” just because of the way he looks. He is a husky/shepherd and while I don’t feel unsafe when my dog is around, the old men that choose a dog park to harass women or take swings at each other is a little ridiculous.
Great playground equipment for both older & younger kiddos (we were visiting at the hotel right next to it), but there was A LOT of litter everywhere. We spent 15 minutes cleaning up.It was 100 degrees out but the only shade was the pavilion & there were several teenagers smoking so we didnt go there. The bathrooms also had a strong smell of marijuana. There was a person mowing the lawn although it was perfectly cut already. They would be better served having that person do clean up every other time & having a smoke-free park.
The dog park is great. Not the fanciest but everyone there is always so fun and friendly ️
Great park lots of room for exercise very open
No shade, no human seating on small dog side. Bring your own water or grab it from bathroom first. Didnt visit the bathroom but would be nice if it has a spout for water bowls
The only dog park in the area my Golden Retriever and I love to roam
Great dogpark that doesnt get too muddy after it snows. My only issue is the owners w giant pitbulls who seem to enjoy taking over the a dog section thats explicitly for dogs under 40 lbs.
Nice dog park and great location to watch fireworks in summer.
Very nice playground equipment with a section on the end for smaller children. Large wide open space.
Smelled like pee. Other than that great time
Fun family friendly
Great dog park. Little dogs are having fun.FYI bring your own seating
Good dog park. Separate fenced areas for small and large dogs.
This place is a hit or miss at the dog park. Sometimes fun with great people, sometimes not so fun.
Play ground and dog play friendly
Nice park. No drinking water access though
Fantastic dog park. Fully fenced. Separate areas for large.and small dogs, lots of room to run.
Its not a park for families any more. The homeless people take over the pavillion and drink and fight and cuss and trash the playground with all their debris. A young man with his daughter were visiting last week and the same thing was going on.
Great park split by 40 lbs for big and small dogs. Could use water access in dog park and some shade for small dog side
Nice walk around
Great park.
They have a nice dog park that has two sides, one for dogs over 40 lbs and one for dogs under 40 lbs. The large side has a nice covered area with benches in the shade. All the small side has is one bench, no shade at all. It also has a nice playground and picnic area.
Very nice park ... Well kept an all the people that frequent are nice an respectful ... Only thing is like to see changed would be a water fountain for dogs by the dark park.
Some interesting characters come here, but its a friendly place. It has a playground right next to it if youve got kids. My dogs loves it, and its not too big. Sometimes my dog gets distracted in the larger parks because he has to sniff and mark everything before he can play. Here he finishes that up pretty quickly but still has plenty of room to run around.
Its an ok hotel
More shade would be nice, as well as people picking up after their dogs better.
Nice park. Great place for the dogs to run. Very accessible. Parking can be a little difficult sometimes. But not usually. If you live within a couple miles, worth checking out.
I like the park because its close.Frequent the dog park, nice area - could be cleaned (dog poo)Even though theyre cleaning up the tall weeds, the drugs and the people that do them are almost always there.I wont do any laps - Ive seen needles and caps lying on the ground. Things go on in the restroom.Sad
This is our favorite dog park in the Northwest Denver area. Its not huge and it doesnt have a ton of crazy features, but the dogs and the people here are the friendliest that weve found. The lot has plenty of grass and theres a small shelter with benches and water dishes. I like that the people here actually pay attention to their dogs and their dogs behavior and are not just there to socialize. There is an under 40 lb and over 40 lb area and our Frenchie visits the over 40 lb area regularly with no problems!
Love how the dog parks are separated by size of the dog.
Very nice park & dog park. We bring our dog here often
Really nice dog run area thats fenced off and has great play areas for the kids but I feel the park was more designed for bigger kids and not a whole lot little kids can safely be on
Nice medium sized park. Bring your own poop bags though.
Fun
Great grass dog park. Fun dogs and nice people
Parking, dog park, picnic enclosure, playground; it has it all!
Nice dog park for smaller dogs. Small dog groups meet at the park and that provides lots of interaction between the dogs. Weekend mornings are a good time to go.
Big grassy dog park and nice clean playground, but people from the school across the street constantly take all the parking spaces so dont try to go around 3:30 on a weekday. Also a couple years ago my car was broken into while parked in the lot in the early a.m. on a weekday.
Nice neighborhood off-leash dog park with large and small dog areas.
My kiddo loves this park.
Playground is nice, dog park isn’t well taken care of and no one seems to care to pick up their dog poop.
I like this park. It is big enough for our two medium to large dogs to run and chase their toys. It is closest to where we live so we get out there at least once a week, hopefully more during spring and summer. The regular restroom facilities are locked during the winter months. There is a portapottie on the far end of the dog park, I was going to use it the last time I was there, but there was a complete and utter disgusting mess on the seat. Luckily the nearby hotel had mercy on me and let me use theirs. Apart from that, we do like this park. It is flat and is easy to keep track of your dogs. The other dogs have been very friendly and well-behaved and their owners are very nice too. Weve only been here 4 times and twice there were no bags for poop patrol. I would suggest bringing your own and maybe leaving a few in the dispensers if you have extra. I always bring a gallon of water and a bowl for our dogs, but there is a bowl there. There is sitting on benches available inside the dog park which is nice.Easiest access is from 44th Avenue and then turn on Miller.
Kids were nice and kind.
No shade for dogs. No water.
Great dog park! People are very friendly.
Fun!!
Wonderful park beautiful view BBQ area picnic area
Our dogs had so much fun at the dog park!
It needs lighting after dusk.
Love this park i go here alot
Great little dog park!!
Too many dogs out at the Park area that are not on leashes. And thats not good for animals with disability, and when you tell the owners about it they get mad and yell cuss words at you
Welcoming and not creepy
Great dog park!
Nice public park with kids playground, dog park, and picnic tables
Nice space, but dicey location
Kind of a small space and have had dogs come in that should not be there.
Nice!!
