Anderson Park

Great Big park. So much to do here! Water slide for the swimming pool, playground, sports fields, paved sidewalk trail as well as off-road creek-side trails. Accommodations for basically anyone for any type of outdoor fun!

The improvements to the baseball field are excellent! I umpire at this park and the safety of the players and spectators has been greatly improved by the upgrades. Well done!

Place is awesome! Right next to a River. The kids and I found a spot to soak are feet and get wet. The kids also had a great time on the playground.

Its a nice trail with natures views.

Even though the place was packed it was beautiful, the water was warm enough to get in. The porta potties needed a little work but thats everywhere. A really good place to go and enjoy your time with the family and feel like youre up in the mountains and youre just right up the block. Love mother nature!!

Nice local place and we have been going here for years, but lately we keep seeing several pieces random trash - underwear, socks, shoes, mattresses, etc. People often dont have their dogs on leashes and/or sleeping in the grass. Tons of people letting off fireworks on the Fourth of July.

We were there for baseball game today. Very nice field. Plenty of in close parking.

Grateful for the cleanliness of the park. Ive always enjoyed Anderson park. I must mention the extreme disappointment in the lack of attention to the facilities. The outhouse was unavailable, which was fine as the option is use the potta-potty. However, the porta-potties were absolutely unsanitary & completely disgusting. No toilet paper or sand sanitizer & the toilets were full!

A beautiful park with a circus and 50 years of a carnation celebration with live bands,fireworks very family friendly ONGOING NOW,FIREWORKS TONIGHT!!!!

Great place to take your dogs!

As others have noted, it is currently under construction, but the path along Clear Creek is open and beautiful. This will be a great park once its fully open. I did run into a small gang of 8 year olds though which gave me some lip, but after a couple sick karate moves they scampered off to their mothers.

I love this town park. Clean. Great space and awesome pool.

This is the best park ever have a great river is big pond great trails for everyone to walk ride or run.... The grass is kind of off limits because of the goose poop. You can go on it but its grossEverything else about the place is great.There is a covered picnic area like 14 tables 4 BBQs a couple of playgrounds..The river walk is awesome.. great for doggies!!!!

Very open space and a lot of potential activities

Love walking down the creek with my 2 pups. They love being able to walk and play around in the water. Nice place for bikers and walkers. Stays nice and cool with all the trees by the greenbelt.

Been enjoying this park/greenbelt since I was a kid in the 70s. A slice of nature in the city. Fun pool and picnic grounds.

Beautiful Pool, Park!! Love the Aquatic aerobics classes on Monday Wednesday and Friday mornings at 10:30 am. Its clean and staff are outstanding!!

Spacious and well-kept. Perfect place to bring your kids. A picnic or a bonding with the fam.

Awesome, spacious park. Currently undergoing some remodeling but Im sure it will be beautiful after all of the work is done. I have come here frequently since I was a kid. Wheat Ridge does a great job keeping it beautiful

This park is large. It has pavillions for parties,trails for joggers/walkers and bicyclists. A small stream runs along the trails and there is also a water park available in summer. We spend a lot of time there during the spring and summer months.

Clean and green. Great outdoor pool open June through 1st wk of Aug. Pool now closed for season. Great new playground.

Great little neighborhood park! Bikers zoom around the corners of the trail though so heads up about that. (Most of them alert you somehow, though.)

Best pool in the area. I love the grassy space. Great place to bring a picnic and chill by the pool for the day. Super cheap outing for the family.

A great annual festival. Weve gone as a family and growing now for 5 years. Kids love it.

Its a nice park. I only give it a 3 because it could be a whole lot cleaner. The cigarettes butts really bring it down to an unclean park.

I take my dog keyway for walks there quite often we enjoy the trail and park...

Very nice park. Cant wait to see all the new paths there building. New baseball and soccer field. Amphitheater in the back. Its going to be nice!

Nice swimming pool with a slide, and a diving board. Has a separate kids pool with plenty of things for them to do. Had a wonderful time and will be returning soon.

Nice park. Bicycle path along the south side.

Beautiful grounds, quiet. You also see deer every now and then. Love the river.

I like the remodel they did a few years back. I could say they could use another set of rest rooms by the playground.

Good pool, has a separate kiddie pool. One big slide, a diving area, and lap lanes. However, not enough lounge-length chairs.

Currently under construction which is unfortunate. This is where the Carnation Festival is held in August. There is a swimming pool, small recreation center, basketball hoops, baseball fields, play ground and of course the greenbelt trail. Lots of options for the whole family. Hopefully they will put in new or additional playground items as they are not not as fun as they were before the last remodel.

Fantastic spot..So much to do. Love our nature walks and Wheat-ridge has my new favorite!

Its under construction at the current time thats why the one-star rating. Obviously they are attempting to improve it and when theyre done Im sure itll be back to five stars thats its always been

Zoppe Circus! Outstanding European style circus. Simple, elegant, and engaging. Brings back memories of the days of the Big Top. Acrobats, trapeze artists, horse and dog acts, and a pair of delightful clowns. Recommend this family owned circus to anyone.

Love the pools, facility is clean . prices for non-resident wasnt that bad for all day. Myself n 3 children was $21.

New things put in place, loved it. Big and beautiful.

This park has fantastic amenities, big playground, some shaded parking(lots of parking) centrally located bathroom, it could be cleaner but for what it is at least its not a porta potty. There is a nice river along the path and open fields. This park has a water park too. Great park

Large park with plenty of nice shade trees and open grass areas. There is also a sizable pavilion with barbeques. The pan also has access to the clear creek green belt. The trails can get overcrowded with cyclists, often wearing spandex and not trekking to pedestrians as they should. Keep away from the trail and you will find the experience nice and relaxing, get bogged down with self important cyclists and you may wish you had gone somewhere else.

Peaceful, places to walk to playerbase ball, dogs to swim and placee to picnic and bbq covered or not

Love to go play there for motors clear close to bedrock I mean not lot of rocks and there

They tore down the skatepark sadly but its always a nice place to go they have the carnation festival here as well as fireworks

Thu are currently undergoing Renovation at the playground, parking lot and Pool. It should be nice this summer.

The river is always awesome..the playground was fenced off. They cut down the river rope swing tree...that sucks..but no matter what we love this hidden gem.

Great place for family outings

Connected paved and unpaved paths along creek, great for walking, biking, exploring. Has nice playground for kids, a soccer and softball/baseball fenced field, covered pavilions for eating and grilling. Also has an outdoor swimming pool and attached center for parties and such. Bathrooms open most of the year. Love to come relax and walk my dogs here among the beautiful natural landscape and creek.
