What a great fun outdoor activity! Reminded me of my summer camp days back when I used to go exploring up high in the treetops!

My older kids did the adult course, and my youngest did the juniors. My youngest needed some help, and the staff was very attentive and patient. The place is nice, it was just a little too hot and you have to be aware that due to covid you must wear masks, so don’t go in a super hot day. Bring water, the vending machines were off. Overall a great outing

The place is nice but the adventure is very very short. Also, some of the operators were strict just for being strict... The kids did not enjoy the adventure

This was such a fun and exciting experience! Scary? At some points. But would I do it again? Absolutely. I would highly recommend wearing gloves though! I wore a pair of fingerless gloves meant for color guard and they worked really well, but I wouldve almost preferred full fingered gloves. The heights didnt bother me at all, personally, but be cautious of that if you do have a fear of heights. I went with a group of my siblings and a couple of our friends and had an absolute blast. The rules are easy to remember and just make sure to wear comfy clothes (aka shorts that are long enough for the harness to not be on your skin). 10/10

Just finished the Junior Course this morning and had an incredible time with the family! Check in was quick for us because we already made reservations and printed and completed the forms beforehand (apart for waiting for the large group in front of us who were completing forms on the spot - it would be nice to have 2 separate lines so that people who are ready can move along a little faster). The person who checked us in was super kind! We got there 15 minutes early for a 10am reservation, no one was taking temperatures when we got there but they were setting it up while we were in line. The young women who helped us with our harnesses and helmets were super kind and helpful and answered all of our questions. The course was great for my 6 year old niece - Garry was an amazing help! When he noticed she was struggling on the 2nd obstacle, he guided her through the rest of them with incredible patience. Instead of having her do the 2nd part of the course, which is way more difficult, we had the option of doing the 1st part over again, and my niece was able to do it with total independence (I could hear her using what she learned from Garry to coach herself through). My 12 year old sped through the course - she did this one when she was 7 and has since progressed to the adult course, so this was easy for her. Overall, we had a wonderful experience that lasted maybe an hour or so, which was ideal with a 6 year old. Very well organized, and the staff are professional, helpful, and super courteous.

Amazing time. Staff is friendly, supportive and willing to help. They inspired my daughter to cross the first course on her own after a failed first attempt, leaving my husband and I on the youth course alone lol. And when I failed the second to last obstacle on the second (youth...smh) course, they happily came to rescue me.

I had such a great time there. The workers were great, helpful and polite. Definitely going back there again.

Very good exercise about 20 feet very challenging and scary but fun also zipline is very fun to you are hanging down. Very good experience for adults and children, Deff worth the money

Excellent experience . This is the 2nd time I’ve don’t this course one a few years back . Today was a super hot day and I did not prepare well for the temp . Covid guidelines were adhered too which was terrific .On the 1st course half way in my sugar dropped . Daniel the guide was fantastic . I wanted to complete the course and he stayed with me until the 1st part was complete . When I got back he had a gluten free granola bar waiting for me which was his snack ! He was very nice, caring and made sure I felt well enough to complete !! Thank you Daniel ! My boys and I had a great time !!!

The ropes course and zipline was fun and the facility is great, but the staff is not friendly and takes away from the overall experience

Back in the spring of 2014 when I was younger I went one one. Of these I was 10 at the time it was kinda scary so high up but it was a good memory and it was very fun and you had to keep a good balance as well fun and scary but I Totally enjoyed it

This adventure course was amazing. Id do it once a month if it wasnt so expensive. Still its definitely worth the money to at least do once. We did the adult course and it was challenging at times, but definitely doable. They say it takes about 1-1.5 hours but we did it in around 55 minutes. Definitely pay the extra few bucks to do the zip line as well.

This place is actually pretty awesome, Definitely surpassed my expectations.

Great support and service and staff

It was very challenging but fun. The adult course Isnt sectioned off into beginner, intermediate or advanced. As you go through the course some are more difficult than others. Must have upper body strength & balance to do it I suggest you bring gloves too. And Turtle Back Zoo is right there too.

Today my granddaughter Erika did the child’s obstacle course.She got a little nervous half way through.Along came Travis Valentine who helped her navigate the rest of the course.What a wonderful encouragingyoung man he is.We we’re so fortunate to have his help.Bravo to you Travis

This is not for everyone, but you have to try it (not try you have to do this) to know if this is for you. Oh the most fright full this I have ever done. But I enjoy this, to the max.

Place is so rad.

We’ve been to a number of Treetop adventure courses and this is the worst one by far. For a single reason that the staff is unfriendly and borderline rude. It starts at the ticket office and ends when you are returning your equipment: no information about the courses, no encouragement or guidance for the kids (we were there with a 6 year old ) and no idea that your customers came here for the experience . Please work with your stuff on developing customer service to make your venue enjoyable.

Treetop Adventure Course is a really good idea, it develops your childs confidence and coordination in an exciting environment. The way the place has been built makes it super safe. If you have a fear of heights this is the place to get over it.

Review from second visit:Five stars for Travis!! The staff is so friendly, Travis was great help along the course to help others and joined us at the zip line for guidance. The staff were all out making sure everyone at the course felt capable and comfortable to complete each task. Some staff members had speakers on their backpacks playing music, very cool. The only thing I didnt care for, It was very busy day, two female instructors tried to rush us through putting 3 of us on each post when we were instructed only 2 people can be there, we took our time to make sure we enjoyed ourselves.I brought friends along this time and we had a blast! I think I had more fun this time around than the last.Definitely make a reservation before going, as there is some disorangization at the check-in, walk up and info them you have a reservation.Review from first visit:Treetop adventures is a great time to test ones strength and fears. My fiance and I had a blast propelling among the trees and watching others overcome their fears as they scream through the air.

My husband and I went for the first time this past Saturday and I’m pretty sure this was opening day since closing for the winter season. It was so exhilarating! It was a little nerve wracking at first not gonna lie, but we started to calm down after the first few ones. Just gotta go slow and steady! The zip line at the end was like a reward! Would definitely recommend for everyone to try at least once, u less you are afraid of heights lol.

Fun course for kids and zipline for all. I have not yet tried the adult course, but it looks great

First time at Tree Top adventures and it was fun! It is a good mix of thrill and excitement for anyone who loves heights and wants a challenge. The staff were professional and attentive. This course is made up of 2 sections, taking about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete depending on people ahead of you.Adult ticket for just the Tree Top Adventure is $28. They also offer a combo admission of the adventure and zip line for $33 but I would skip the zip line. Its nothing special haha, and definitely not worth its stand alone price of $13...Dont forget your comfortable footwear and clothes! I would recommend carrying a small backpack with water in it so you can stay hydrated while on the course. Backpacks are allowed as long as they rest comfortably above the waist. Good luck and have fun!

First time and it was an experience Had a great time out with the family.

After discovering CBK Treetop Adventure was unexpectedly closed for the rest of the season, my 14 year old son and I decided to give the Essex County Treetop Adventure a try and although much smaller than CBK, the courses were still challenging and we had a blast! It was also real close to home and we stopped at Turtleback Zoo after we completed the course and zip line.

Be aware. We called this morning to book a reservation for 1pm. They said you could only do walk ups the day of. Reservations are made 24hrs ahead. But for today they have walk ups starting at 1pm. I asked the girl and was told it looked open at 1 we shouldnt have any issues getting on.So after a 40min car ride we arrive at the zoo. We purchase a zoo ticket so we can walk threw the zoo on the way to the ropes. We arrive at the ropes ticket window that is outside of the zoo entrance on the far parking lot. And we are told no walkups until 1. Ok fine we head back into the zoo. Have lunch. Note the bbq chicken pizza was so delish. Very suprised. Very few animals are out and 2 exhibits are closed. Sea lions and touch tanks. We did not see 1 bear not 1 lion. If you want to see giaraffs they were out penguins and the small animal exhibits we ok. Its a hot day and there are tons of camp kids. I Have to say the campers were very well behaved. I felt badly for kids who didnt have money to buy water or drinks. Camp programs should have access to free water stations.Anyway back to the ropes. We arrive at 20 min to 1. On the web site it says to arrive 15mins early. So I fill out the forms and I along with 2 other families are told we cant pay for a 1pm slot until 1pm. We are told they take reservations first. One mom aksed how many people in each group. The staff replied they dont know. There were 5 younge adults behind a ticket window. Making us wait until 1pm exactly to by a ticket. Now this is where it gets very frustrating. I Purchased 2 tickets plus zipline and head up to the check in station. Put on gear and are then told there is a back up to expect delays. So I asked what does this mean. The response. A group of 70 campers is ahead of us. They are moving slowly on the course. Only 2 people are allowed on each platform.Basically its bumper to bumper people. I was told the course takes 1 to 1.5hrs to move threw from start to finish. With the delay its up to 2.5hrs on the course. And your basically waiting for the people ahead of you to move threw. Can you imagine 87 degrees in the sun for 2.5 hrs on a rope course. No bathrooms up there no water stations. This seems dangerous. So we left had to wait to get approved for a refund. I went to customer service to make them aware. The response we are sorry and they wanted to give my son a small stuffed animal. Lol hes 10yrs old he doesnt want a stuffed monkey. We didnt take the stuffed animal. I left my phone number if an administrator would like some feedback. This company has wasted my time. We would not have come out today and could have made a reservation another day knowing that large camp groups were on the schedule for today. You people just need to be honest. Have people go threw with a tracker so you get an idea on timing. If you know there is a back up tell people before they wait on line to purchase a ticket.If we were to go back. I would purchase a ticket first thing in the morning.

Zipline in Treetop Adventure Course if youre not afraid of heights try it

So much fun! Entire course takes about an hour and ends with a zipline. Heart pumping, adrenaline creating stuff. A number people do not finish cos they cant take it...this is no walk in the park people!

Very fun adventure course with a zipline! The challenges on the adult course were quite good and the workers were helpful. I would recommend this activity to others.

FYI, they close at 4pm or sooner, at the discretion of the employees, how lazy they are that day. They won’t post business hours on their website, they won’t answer the phone, and they won’t even record a voicemailbox message stating their hours, yet they’ll turn me and my friend away at the gate at 4:02 after she drove over an hour to get here and we’ve looked forward to it for months: No, they don’t deserve to be in business. Please take your money elsewhere, like any of the many, bigger, better ropes courses in nearby PA where there are actual trees to justify a name like “Treetop Adventure Course.” The course didn’t even look exciting for athletic twenty-somethings anyway, once we saw it in person, although I’m sure it’s fun for 12-year-olds. It’s just a big playground.

The course itself is amazing. What Im giving one star is their terrible communication and customer service. My husband and kids just tried to go this morning and when they got there were told that the course was closed because too many people called out sick. My husband had even checked to make sure they were open both on the website and by phone (an automated message) because many schools are closed for the Jewish holiday, and it did NOT say they were closed, so after traveling 40 minutes to get there, 10 to find parking and get to the course, he was told unapologetically that the course was closed because too many people called out sick. When he asked if they were going to try to get more people in he was just told the ropes course is closed at this time. WOW. At least offer people a discount to come back at a later time.

On Sunday afternoon,8/5, my daughters and I took part in your Tree Top Adventure. I would like to commend the guides, both young and not so young. They were amazing. Very patient, kind and understanding. And very helpful because I needed help three times and one of my daughters needed to be rescued.When we got to the admission booth we requested four adult tickets for both the adventure and the zip line. One problem was that we didnt realize we were purchasing tickets to the adult course. Which is NOT for beginners. We had no idea. Like I stated above, one of my daughters needed to be rescued and I needed assistance three times. There were no instructions on the posts on how to pass to the next post. Since none of us had ever done this before we were at the mercy of the gentleman on the zip line. Lol. He was very informative but he had others responsibilities.When we showed up to purchase the tickets, we were unaware of how difficult the adult course was. We thought we were simply purchasing adults tickets to the course that could be seen from Northfield Rd. There should be some kind of instructions as to what the adult course would entail. We did have gloves and sneakers, so we were prepared on that sense, but not for he difficulty for the more advanced course. YOU HAVE TO TELL people of the difference between the two courses.I dont think we will be doing it again. Lol.Thanking the young people who were guides and the gentleman who did the zip line who were very patient, kind and helpful. They are a credit to your training.I recommend that you call the kids course the beginners course and the adult course the Advanced course.Oh, did I mention that We were doing this adventure for my 70th birthday. Went with my kids (20 year old & 14 year old)Was soooooooo much fun !!!I am 50ish and it was the best time I had in a long time !!!

Gary was a LIFESAVER. Ive done ropes courses, rock climbing, and zip lines before, but for some reason, today was the day my brain said enough. I had a massive panic attack on the ropes, and Gary game to the rescue and literally held my hand, using his wonderful sense of humor to calm me down until we got to the end of the course. It was only then that he revealed the chest harness he had on the entire time, ready to lower me down to safety if I really wasnt able to make it across. His expert judgement allowed me to save my dignity and still make it through a large portion of the course. Even while his coworkers were messing around and playing with water guns (not the most professional, but hey, they are kids at their summer job), Gary was very clear with them that he had to take care of me and get me to safety. Later on, while my husband was on the second course (and I was safely on the ground), a coworker tried calling Gary over and pulling him into the water fight, all the while leaving her post abandoned (this is why Im only giving four stars), but another patron fell off the line, necessitating Garys springing back into action. Score two for Gary. Thanks, my friend!

Lots of fun for the kids

After waiting an hour and a half online with little kids, they have the nerve to tell the kids that they dont have to right attire. Not that any of what they say is mentioned online or in any literature they have. And after complaining the manager or any of the employees were of any help

Called well ahead and was told to come at 1pm. Drive 40 minutes only to be told they wont take my ONE child and I could wait but most likely wont get to go on today. NO service at all. Just gross behavior all around by employees.
