Breathtaking! The pictures dont do it justice! Since Ive not seen it in over 20 years, theyve added a 9/11 Memorial with names engraved in black, either marble or granite (sorry I couldnt tell which one) across the wall. The view is amazing. There are also trails for those who wish to hike a bit. If youre looking for a view of NYC, this is the place! (Photos attached dont show 9/11 Memorial. I couldnt. Sorry! These are views toward Upstate NY, NYC, and South of NYC.)

Many Good beginner trails. Most trails are appropriately color marked. I was able to explore off the map/GPS TRAILS with no problem. The 911 memorial and view of Manhattan are fabulous. Very good family fun!!!

Great place for a hike in the woods. Most trails arent well marked so easy to get a little turned around, but nice rolling hills and options for a stroll, bike or trail run through the woods. Small enough that its easy to use your phones GPS/compass to meander back to where you parked your car.

This was my first time at this Reservation. I was amazed by the view and the pieces of history to commemorate the fallen at 911...on my mind and heart there were so many emotions. How can something so beautiful be so sad at the same time. Please take time to walk around this memorial park and say a prayer for those who lost their lives.

I enjoy coming here! It was a bit crowded today, a lot of birthday partys. But it wasnt Rowdy in any way. Just nice family get togethers. Great sculptures and a view to die for. Great for sunsets or family barbeques. Very nice by your self to reflect, or with a loved one. Enjoy!

One of the popular recreation places in surrounding areas. It has a outlook post yo NYC, a flat top of recreation, and a few good trails for hiking.I usually take the red trail which is a relatively longer trail in the park. Trail marking is not consistent and clear so you may want to use tools such as alltrails in first time.Parking is always full in weekend at recreation area. For people who to hiking, you can pull over to road side.

Great place to spend a day with your love one, or ones. The view is not that bad. Its just a far view of Manhattan. It is nice and calm as far as people. Everybody is doing their thing while you doing yours. I will add some pictures next time I go. For you guys that havent been there, you should give it a try. Im sure you will enjoy it.

Nice park with a view of the city from the 9/11 memorial. Lots of trails in the back of the park, well groomed and maintained. Relatively flat with only a few short, steep inclines. Not as buggy as we thought it might be. Some of the trails can be used for horses or mountain biking. The porta-potties were well serviced too, looks like they are taken care of regularly. The real draw is the number of trails available in a suburban setting. Theres also a state long trail that runs through part of the park.

My husband and I got married at Eagle Rock at the Gazebo. It was absolutely stunning. I called the town, filed the permit and my date was reserved. We were able to fit a good 45-50 ppl standing and sitting around us. It was a beautiful day and even though the park was crowded, we had our privacy. If youre looking to hold a simple outdoor ceremony, I absolutely recommend Eagle Rock Reservation.
