Fantastic trail - Both paved and dirt paths - Many options - You can even fish along the Brandywine if you like! Lots of wildlife - Deer, chipmunks, squirrels, frogs, turtles, crayfish, fish, and birds. Parking can be tight on weekends, but still a fantastic trail to walk, run, bike, hike, or even just walk your dog.

Beautiful paved trail for walks, beginner biking, and hiking. Some alt trails if you want more changing off-road trails into the woods. Beautiful pond with turtles.

Nice mostly flat paved trail with side trails as well. Branches that follow the River are compact and easy. There are more challenging trails which go up into the hills that have steep sections and are single track.

This is one of our favorite preserves for walking and biking. Its right between Downingtown and West Chester and has three parking lots that you can use. The one by the historic covered bridge is often full, but you can find parking in the end heading towards Downingtown or by Skelp Level Rd. Side of the road is a better bet than the lot itself.Bring your bikes or rollerblades, but beware of one or two mild, cold but longer inclines on the wide paved trail.Beautiful scenery with river views, paths carved into the rock walls, peaceful trails in the woods and often a sighting of animals like a or a

It is adjacent to the Brandywine Trail and Sugars Bridge Nature Area. Brandywine Trail is paved and has only a small change in elevation. M. John Johnson Nature preserve and the adjacent Harmony Hill Nature Area have several dirt trails with moderate hills, some of the trails permit mountain biking

I am a huge fan of this trail (and so is my dog). I like to bring all sorts of people here because of the diverse difficulty options; theres a path for everyone! Trails are well blazed for the most part. The only difficulty (which might actually be a good thing as it prevents overcrowding) is that parking is extremely limited, and SUVs with bike racks make it even more difficult to squeeze into a spot. Because of this I tend not to come out on sunny, summer, weekend days.

Would like to see a trail that forms a loop. one trailed dead-ended at a nearby road which was not pedestrian-friendly. but yameen its nice, there are challenging hilly dirt bike trails. It follows a river and it connects to adjacent parq Harmony Hill.
