Very peaceful and beautiful views of mother nature. Great for an afternoon walk and great for photography. We did go in mid-June so the heat was a bit overbearing and we had to leave quickly. We saw a few birds during our walk.

Very peaceful. There is a short board walk or you can go around on the grass paths. Bring water because there are only random shade spots. There are benches, depending on what time of day will determine if the bench is shaded. Place is clean and has surprisingly little trash. The water has too much algea in it though. Lots of birds and lizard things to see, turtles too. Wildlife is still wild and will scurry away from you, especially if youre loud. Might have seen more but the animals are smart and stayed out of the 100ish degree heat.

Fields in great shape and rain stayed away. Just makensure you have a mask even with 10+ spacing

As the name implies, this is the the most peaceful place in South Florida. It is a hidden gem in the heart of Wellington.

Amazing birding location. Theres more than a few spots for shade but the main boardwalk is out in the sun, and year round Florida heat can be no fun if youre out in it midday. The few times Ive been Ive ran into other people, so if youre looking for a solitary hike you might not get it here. Overall, its a beautiful place.

Peaceful Waters name is truly appropriate. It is such a beautiful Zen place that I am lucky enough to have very close to where I live. You never know what you will see there. Today we saw so many beautiful birds and just missed a display put on by an otter family. Having these kinds of places definitely makes life in Wellington even more wonderful.

I did not get a chance to go in because, unbeknownst to me, it was closed as of January 6th for boardwalk repair. I would have liked to have seen it, however, it would be greatly appreciated if this would have been put on the website so people would not make a special trip up and not get a chance to see it.

The Sanctuary was a nice walk. We got some good birding pics. We enjoyed it a lot

Its a small Oasis in the suburbs. If youre at a soccer game its worth walking the sanctuary. Theres some cool birds. The entire trail is probably less than half a mile.

Beautiful place to enjoy nature.

I found out about this park from a Facebook bird group. I am well acquainted with Green Cay and Wakadohatchee Wetlands but I was intrigued when I saw pictures of Peaceful Waters Sanctuary which is located at the back of this park pop up in the group. Specifically I was interested in the pictures of the Roseate Spoonbills, a bird I love but who I rarely see in the wild. It was with that bird in mind that I headed out on a cold and windy late afternoon. I was checking out the manatees in West Palm Beach and on a whim since I was already north I decided to head on over. While cold weather is ideal for finding manatees it is not so great for spotting birds and alligators. The afternoon was quite cold and what few birds I saw were huddled together in the tall grass. It didnt matter, I still loved this place. Peaceful Waters is undeniably beautiful and somewhat secluded. The parking lot is located at a distance from the start of the boardwalk path and if you didnt know what was back there you might easily pass it up. You can travel along the boardwalk and at points leave it for paths on the grass that wind around the picture perfect waterways. Even though though I was shivering I still saw birds and can only imagine how great this place is on a more typical Florida temperate winter day. I cant wait to come back for another visit with some of my birding enthusiast friends.

Peaceful and beautiful. Very few people here, which I like. Saw a roseate spoonbill, a great blue heron, anhingas, blue-winged teals, little blue herons, tri-colored herons, and a great egret. There is a boardwalk and some unpaved walking trails. If you are looking for a quiet, leisurely stroll, then this is the place for you.

A hidden gem. Aptly named, there is hardly anyone ever here. Makes for a great stroll.
