Played the Body Shop and was completely blown away with the experience. The decor was incredible. Every puzzle and every item used really fit the Body shop theme. The puzzles were challenging but fair and the game flowed well. It was definitely a challenge to get through all the puzzles with just my husband but we managed to escape with around 30 seconds to spare. Check out this room, you won’t regret it!

Great escape room concept. Jeff was a genuinely nice guy. Well thought out. Very creatively adorned lobby. Whole place showed a lot of effort and thought went into this business. One of the most interactive escape rooms I’ve ever been to. The use of props was unbelievable. The theme was really well done and I was just completely blown away with how well everything fit together. Please check this one out if you’re ever in the area!!

My wife and I are around 85 rooms total and have been told by multiple escape room owners and players about The Body Shop being amazing. It was definitely not all hype, this place is so good. The site says 2 or 3 people is a challenge and with just two of us it was definitely a stretch, but we made it out with 1 minute left and a couple hints along the way. This room is definitely immersive with unique and fun puzzles. I would highly recommend checking this place out.

We rented a car and drove to Webster because we heard The Body Shop was an absolute top-notch escape room. We were not disappointed! From unique and inventive mechanics to a mysterious and well-developed plot this room delivered everything we love. Extremely highly recommended!

This is not an escape room to be missed! We had so much fun doing The Body Shop room and escaped with only 1 minute, 30 seconds to spare. The room was incredibly detailed, immersive, and beautifully designed and it’s clear that the owners put their heart and soul into this room. We can’t wait to come back and try another one!

If you are ever in Webster, MA or the surrounding area and want to have an immersive, mind-blowing escape room experience Outside the Box is for you. The Body shop is a typical escape room with the OtB flair that sets it apart with the immersion and attention to detail happening before you even step foot in the room. They also have a two team puzzle battle that was a lot of fun and made us laugh considerably with some of the challenges.

We had a really great time tonight at out side of the box in Webster MA!!! We played the game called ‘aftermath’. The owners were incredibly welcoming to us. The games were very intriguing. There were eight of us playing and there was something for each of us to do and lots of fun teamwork to accomplish the mission. Set design was wonderful. We highly recommend it! Will certainly be back again to play their other games.

Their room was so much fun and their puzzles are definitely “outside the box.” We’ve done lots of different escape rooms and this is one of our favorites. We did get out of “The Body Shop” with little time to spare. These guys are awesome, funny, welcoming, and hand make all of their rooms which is so cool! Very well done and we will definitely be visiting again!

One of the best escape rooms Ive played in a long time! I am an escape room owner myself, so trust me, you must check Outside the Box. Amazing set design, fun but challenging puzzles. We drove 2 hrs to get here and it was totally worth it :)

Awesome place! The room is super involved, lots of lore and world building with a great environmental feel to the whole puzzle. Very creative puzzles and a lot of fun to solve, not too hard but definitely not too easy! The owners are really nice and definitely know a lot about escape rooms. Highly recommended for a fun night with friends, and I’ll certainly be back when they open their new room!

Awesome immersive experience... if you are in the city thinking twice about driving all the way here, make yourself a favor and just go. We did the aftermath (will go away) and the awesome Body Shop.... back to back. Very well executed Escape Rooms!

We heard great hings about the place, so we travels 45 minutes to go play a new game with a group of 8 and I have to say it was well worth the trip. The game was incredibly well designed and decorated. The puzzles were fun and challenging but not impossible and the story line and game flow were great. I would highly recommend checking out Outside the Box. And yes we did make it out but not without a few clues and with only a few minutes to spare.

Went a few weeks ago with a group of people. It was my first time going to one of these and it was about what I expected - extremely fun! I enjoyed the Fallout style theme a lot and the rooms were well put together. My group managed to get out with 27 seconds left on the clock and it really got the adrenaline going at the end to try and beat the timer. Well worth the small admission fee, more fun than sitting in a movie for an hour by far. Ill be looking for more of these to go to.

The owners/management were fantastic! “The Body Shop” escape was well thought out and we really enjoyed the harder challenge level. This was probably our 6th-ish room challenge and we definitely recommend this Escape!

Quite a gem in Webster! We have visited escape rooms all over New England and this is among the best. Excellent attention to detail that creates an immersive experience. We did Aftermath and I was so impressed with the intricate and innovative hands-on puzzles.

The owners are fun and kind. I am not a big escape room person, but Aftermath is crafted well with lots of detail. Their second room, Dark Light Disco Fight, is a blast. It looks awesome too, and it is more focused on individualized puzzles to figure out with, and against, a team, instead of many puzzles all leading into one story. Do it!

These guys are awesome, super nice, funny, and the room we did was VERY well done! Weve done plentynof escape rooms and this one is by far one of our favorites! The puzzles and adventures are hard but we completed it with only 4 people, with 20 seconds left to spare! We will definitely go back to try their other rooms.

We visited with our employees for a team building activity. Aftermath is super immersive and the decor is right on point. The have great, fun, creative puzzles. We highly recommend you stop by and play!

O.M.G.!! This place is amazing! I have done 30 escape rooms and The Body Shop is one of the very best! Top two! The level of detail and stunning execution in the set and the props is unparalleled. The puzzles are really innovative and reflect the profound smarts and ingenuity of the owners, while still being accessible. I kept thinking oh wow, thats such a clever way to make a puzzle out of that! and being blown away by the flawless execution of some remarkable feats of engineering.I left feeling profoundly entertained and with a great level of brain fever. Im still telling friends about it weeks later. Its 100% worth the trip from Boston. You wont regret it!

My entire work crew played Aftermath last week; it was quite an enjoyable experience. The attention to detail was impeccable. The staff was helpful, courteous, and had an impressive beard! I wholeheartedly recommend Outside the Box and look forward to more rooms.

Outside the Box’s “Aftermath” room is the most immersive escape room that I’ve played in the area. There’s a clear attention to detail in every element of the room, with some pretty cool surprises entwined throughout. It’s a challenge, but you’ll definitely enjoy the experience! Two thumbs up

We were warmly greeted by the owners, Jeff and Jen. They were welcoming and very friendly.Then they showed us to the room..... amazing!! Very immersive, challenging, and entertaining!! The Aftermath is easily the best escape room Ive played, incredible story engagement, stunning environment and some of the coolest prop interactions Ive ever seen, fueled by a pair who are obviously passionate about their creations. If you ever have a chance, play the Aftermath, it is truly worth it.

As an escape room enthusiast who has done 132 escape rooms, I can confidently say that Aftermath is overall the best one. With a strong focus on immersion, this game felt real, while still managing to have difficult and fair puzzling. The set was top notch, holding a worn and rotted look that added urgency and realism. The staff was excellent, and the owner clearly loves what he does and puts a lot of effort into his craft, which shows to an incredible degree. Overall, this game is a must for those who are looking for an intense, fun, and immersive escape the room experience.EDIT: I have now gotten up to 249 games, with The Body Shop (Outside the Boxs newest game) being in the top three, placing it in the top 1% of all games I have played. The highly detailed set rivaled the best I have ever seen, with an equally detailed storyworld that builds a vivid picture of a comedy horror scenario that I have never seen used in any escape room before. The puzzles perfectly complemented this gamespace by using a mixture of high tech and low tech implements, bringing this unique experience to life. This is a must play for enthusiasts as well as larger groups of newer players, as it sets a new standard of what a game can be, especially when its made with such a highly passionate and devoted creator as the owner of Outside the Box. Its worth the travel to play this game if you are anywhere nearby, you will certainly not regret it.
