Highly recommend and heres why: I was looking for something fun for our family to celebrate my brothers 40th birthday so I explored the option of something like Main Event since there were 14 people ranging in ages from 7 to 51 years old. I contacted them through the site and received a call from Elena in the group booking department. She was extremely helpful and patient with my follow up questions. She sent me options for our party along with prices and we were able to find a better fit than I had planned on. The day of the party came and the staff was ready for us with everything we needed. We all had a blast! Because we were dressed in costume (my brothers birthday is 10/31 and everyone dressed in 80s theme), getting a picture taken was easy too. We played arcade games, pool, bowling, miniature golf, and laser tag (my favorite!). The pizza was okay but everything went beautifully. Everything went perfect. We will plan to visit again along with a future group event too.

Fun galore, exciting, friendly, courteous staff. So much to do. I just wasnt happy that I paid to bowl and after 1 hour I had to give up my lane and go back on the waiting list, which I never got to play again. They dont tell you that before you pay.

First time at this location. Clean and not too many people so I felt ok bringing my kiddos. Staff was friendly and wearing gloves and marks throughout the entire building. Pizza was good. Kids definitely had fun.

Laser Tag room is small but it was soo much fun. They have Marvel vs Capcom designated names on your laser gun. The golf area was cool. The games werent rip off. I was looking forward to the JUMP game but it was disabled. Everything else worked

Hadnt bowled since I was a teenager. The wait was about an hour to play due to a high influx but they had arcades and an open bar to pass the time. Had so much fun with the wife and friends. Would recommend highly for those looking to let loose. Very clean and staff were sanitizing often.

I recently went to this main event location and I had a blast. One of things that really made my experience enjoyable is that one of the workers who’s name was Chandler Bentinck was extremely helpful. I tried to talk to other employee but they were not helping and ignoring me. Chandler was able to answer all my questions and even recommended some fun games.

We had my youngest sons birthday outing there. And it was a lot of fun, in spite of what Im about to say.The biggest knock I have against them is that the heels on their bowling shoes dont slide. This caused me to fall more than once since for about 40 years, my expectation has been to slide on the last step prior to delivering the ball. Had to relearn how. The lanes are rented by the hour, not by the game, and sure enough, we played a game and a half. I think you should be allowed to finish your game if you choose at no extra charge, just not start a new one once times up.That said, the atmosphere is festive and the various games are fun, so if youre not really a bowler and youre looking for a place to while away an afternoon, Main Event is a good place to do it.

We took our kids on Monday ( Monday offer is all you can play for 10:95$ after 4:00 pm). The cashier was very nice ans helpful. The place is incredibly nice and clean. There are arcade, mini golf, bowling and laser tag. Food was good, and for acceptable amount. The lady on the bar was super rude(-1 star)! She wasn’t interesting to take my order, and she was very unwelcoming. I had to wait for another employee to help me with the kids food order. The food took forever to come though. It is a great place for the entire family.

Family members and I went to Main Event tonight and were all pleased with the experience. All of the staff were helpful and very nice. The bartender Alexia was extremely nice and very helpful, from explaining drinks off the menu (due to covid) and helping us with explaining how the tabs and passes worked. We havent went in a while but this last time makes us want to go more and more!

Such a great place whether its for yourself or friends and family it has everything! Always clean and great staff. We just did my fathers celebration of life there and the food and service was amazing. Definitely one of my favorite places to have fun.

Great place to take kiddos. Only down side is the food service area. Take forever to get service. And if you want to order off entire menu you cant go get in the quick service line. Which isnt quick at all

We arrived and had to wait 15 minutes to get to bowl with our family. They were already there and bowling. They said it was full to capacity. But still had a great time.

This place looks good. Its been there awhile, but they updated it and its looking good. The whole facility is clean. They have a great variety of arcade games. The pool tables are decent. Shuffle board is nice. Karaoke room is pretty decent sized. The food is not great for the price. The party room is really nice and they set it up well. Theres a lot to say. Go try it out!

I usually only leave positive reviews, but I am going to make an exception this time. I have been here 7-8 times and thoroughly enjoyed it every time but this last time. We purchased the wrist bands to have “unlimited” bowling, billiards, laser tag, and mini golf. It took over 20 minutes to have a server at our table. When the first hour came to a close, our server came to the table asking us if we would like to continue bowling. We politely responded “yes”. Not 5 minutes later, the arm comes down in front of the pins and stops our game. I go to the front counter and the attendant was rude and caught an attitude saying there was a “waitlist” (which we weren’t told about beforehand). When I inquired about the waitlist he wouldn’t explain it to me intelligently, when all I was asking is how long the wait was. During this encounter most of every member of the staff was not working and just socializing talking to one another. When we got back to our table, the staff was pointing at us and staring. I would have purchased the bowling by the hour if they would have communicated a one hour limit. If I knew it would cost $104 for 4 people for one hour of play I would have not chosen that route. My family was getting glaring looks from the staff the rest of our stay. Horrible experience and even worse staff. For sure not coming back.

The place is pretty nice got ALOT to offer to do the only thing that drives me and ALOT of people crazy they just dont like to.mention it is that they do NOT let you pick the lane you want when bowling. I can understand if there is only one lane left but I meen I am paying for it I should be able to pick the lane especially when there isnt but 4 lanes being used out of the 30 lanes to bowl. So I will be at the showbiz from now on at least there they will let u pick ur lane SOMETIMES

Went played mini golf which was fun, but as soon as we tried to sit down to eat it took over 10 minutes to get order for drinks by the time we ordered our drinks it took another 10 minutes so we decided we wanted to leave and pay for drinks so then it took another 30 minutes just for the waiter to get the money NEVER EVER WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!!!

Golf was Fun but it took 10 minutes for our waitress too even notice us and then she walked right past us then after 10 minutes finally show up and got our drink order.My son order a pina colada that was too strong. And He couldnt finish it cause it had some kind of alcohol that was way too strong.Then it took another 10 minutes for our drinks.Then it took 30 minutes just too check out! We will not be back!!

Love this place! So much fun, lots to do. Bowling, arcade, mini golf, etc. I love everything, including the bar. I like to come in just for a few drinks. Really friendly staff. Great place for a party, out with family, friends, or a date night out with your special person. I am definitely coming back. I recommend to anyone who wants to have fun.

I decided to surprise my 5 year old by taking him to Main event. I left work early and picked him up and off we went. I bought 2 of the All Activity Passes and $50 in arcade games. We bowled, ordered food, played games, and as we walked up to play laser tag, I inquired about where to form the line. The young man, Chandler, rudely tells me I have to sign in on the paper and as I approach the counter he scoffs and says he needs a mask, referring to my 5 year old. I said well weve been walking around for over an hour and no one has said anything to me about it and he rudely replies well Im telling you now. I proceeded to speak to a manager who told me she would talk to him. I asked her about the age requirements for masks since according to the state of Texas applies to anyone over 10 years and she told me that Main Event has employed its own mask requirements and that anyone 2 years and up is to wear a mask. I also asked her if they had signs or anything posted on the door or anywhere throughout the business. She did say that it is posted on their website, which I visited before going there and it is NOT on their website. I also checked it out after getting home just to ser if I overlooked it. Nothing mentions this.. She also said that the door person should have informed us but upon our entry the door geeeter was nowhere to be found. So, Im expected to go walking back over there where this smug teenager has already been so rude and disrespectful and wait in line once again to be disrespected? My child and I ended up leaving, all the while hes screaming and crying that he wants to play laser tag for the entire 30 minute ride home. I NEVER leave reviews but this was probably one of the worst experiences Ive had while out spending my hard earned money on entertainment. What was almost a great day spent with my kiddo turned out pretty very disappointing.

We went for a school field trip. The bowling lanes are nice! We ordered food and was very impressed with the taste. The video games are new, nice, and fun. The prize point system is very fair and they have great prizes! We really enjoyed it!

Waited at a table for 15+ minutes before going to the bar to get a beverage. Servers kept walking past us, but no one stopped to see if we needed anything. When I got to the bar, Logan asked if we needed anything. He was a very nice young man. He was very attentive but sometimes its hard to come back from a bad first impression.

We walked in at about 845 pm and had soy 30 minutes of time waisted by the young man at the front counter telling us that he to check the bowling wait list because we asked for the wrist bands that allow us to use all the attractions finally he returns to tell us the wait list is to long so we wont be able to bowl and tried to get us to purchase each attraction separately which would have made the price dramatically higher than 7 30 dollar wrist bracelets finally we get our bracelets and started to seat ourselves after waiting 30 more minutes for a server to seat us after I specifically asked for a booth or table to be cleaned for us which all of them were dirty during a pandemic I cleaned my own table seated my family and waitied while servers were congregating in the area and walking around doing nothing after waiting all thus time i went to bar and ordered our drinks myself and this only after asking for a server 3 times and being told that she was in the area and would attend to us shortly or the manager himself would come assist us finally i was fed up and allowed my children to participate in laser tag while my spouse waited patient for a server upon our return to my suprise no one still had addressed our concerns i proceeded to the manager who guaranteed someone was coming what a joke that was 25 minutes later someone takes our orders saying it must be placed to go due to the time remaining also informing me she was in training so the server who is training her has to put it in the computer so again we wait i spent 206 dollars on our meals to include the fun cards and when the food was served no game cards were presented i had to ask and the young lady who is not in training says ill give them to you once you pay because i dont want you to leave and not pay for them Im stark raving mad at this point but I simply shovel the money on the table my family recurve the cards and barely have time to play or enjoy any attractions the place wasnt busy like they usually are but due to the inconsiderate and rudeness not to mention neglect of the staff we only were able to play laser tag 1 time and play games for a few minutes by the time we got our game cards the prize shop was closed this was the worst experience I have ever had at a amusement entertainment center the only reason I even gave 3 stars is because the 2 bartenders made sure to meet my every request in a not only timely manner but precision as well.I spent a total of 500 dollars to be gravely disappointed and belittled.

I took my son there for his birthday. We had a great time. We played laser tag, mini golf, and arcade games. The food is delicious. And theres even a bar for the adults. The prices are reasonable. We love it! Definitely will be going back!!!

First time going and OMGosh it was so much fun! My kids an I had a blast there is literally something for everyone! Good food, great drinks, awesome games and such a wonderful staff!!!

Everything always goes as planned, on the weekends youll get the occasional lack of servers when bowling but nothing to get upset over. Staff is always friendly and informative and when they do interact with my kid they are patient and understanding.

I love this place. Its the perfect place to go with friends or family. Theres so much to do its not only kid friendly but adult friendly as well. Theres a billiards section, bowling, karaoke, laser tag, mini golf which is lit up by blacklights. Theres a huge arcade section which includes all types of games for kids and adults or both to play. Theres a food court with seating, and you dont have to wait around for your order they give you a buzzer to let you know when its ready. And for adults only thers a full bar. Mixed drinks, beer (bottle or draft!) Wide selection! Clean bathrooms!! Always a plus!!! And the prices for everything are reasonable! Its really a great place to have fun, and let loose! And their open till 12:00a.m!!!!

Always fun here My son and I come here alot, one of our fav places. I actually just had my Birthday party here Saturday night Sept 21st. It was a 2hr wait for bowling which sucked but they were the busiest Id ever seen. They said they had like 15 bday parties goin on. We did Lasertag and hung out while waiting and had a good time. I wish there was a Main Event in Galveston where I live..its one of the main requests for the island as far as I know. Maybe someday Good drinks, food, customer service, and plenty to do with decent prices too.

Great games and easy to recharge your game card.

Very popular place, been to this location twice and it’s been packed both times. Waiting for the bowling line can take a while, but it worth the wait. Very clean and staff have been friendly and when ordering beverages or food it’s about 20 minutes wait which is not too bad. I recommend this place to anyone who can be patient a little bit.

Very clean place to hang out with tons to do inside. The bowling lanes are top notch and there were plenty of balls of the different weights all in great shape. Servers were fast and friendly. The $7 unlimited play is definitely worth it! Clean restrooms, well lit, lots of tvs everywhere playing cool music videos and sports.

$36 per lane during peak hours. Different rate during less busy times. Has free WiFi. Not great food but do offer good eats to calm the hunger. Good beers at comparable prices. All in all good clean fun.

We had a blast here. Half the rides were not functioning at Kemah Boardwalk so we decided to come here and had a blast. We played laser tag and golf and had a fun time. Good family deals and descent food and beverages.

Had to wait approximately 30-40 minutes after finishing up my meal for the big super fun Sunday with three inpatient children. I told my server and she told me it would be prompt but i still ended up waiting. My server was no where to be found and the only person who attended to me and checked for me was Elizabeth. She offered great service and after she went back I received it within 5 minutes. I loved the games here and we had a great time, just not impressed with the food service.

Very hard to get some bowling lanes on the weekends. Wish when you book online you wont get the in-store only thing on all the time slots... like why offer online booking if its also going to be hard? There are plenty of kid games for the kids to be entertained while waiting - however not enough adult games ): the only thing that adults may enjoy if they dont mind the price ($8 and up ) are the mixed drinks and booze. They do have pool tables. Restrooms are outdated considering this is a pretty nice establishment but the restrooms are terrible.

This place was great. Of course it was during the week but still an energetic environment. I dont drink alcohol and the bartender managed to make me the most delicious mixed drink!!(non alcoholic)

I was there for a meeting with games to follow but the games seem outdated and more for a childish crowd. If I went again I would focus on the bowling and billiards. The food was pretty good and while the alcoholic drinks were expensive they at least put a good amount of alcohol in them. Ive been to other newer Main Events and I think this one just needs updating all around but with the right group its still a fun experience. Ill give it the EJ Stamp of Approval

The bowling lanes kept messing up. We had to restart twice before we moved lanes. Once we moved, things were fine. It just sucked. Some of the checks werent correct and that took some fixing. Overall, not the worst experience... also not the worst. Just okay. OH, but the lemon pepper wings were BOMB!

First time there. Its ok place, too long of wait to play pool. Drinks were average. Bowling was very fun! But didnt like that the bar came down stopping the ball in the middle of a what seemed to be a strike due to time limit. Wish you paid after you are done rather than it cutting off on you. Went to other place to play pool instead. Didnt try the food. Or other games. I would recommend.

This review is for adults. I went there Saturday night for an office Christmas party. Though I had a good time, service was terrible. While bowling it took over an hour to get a drink from the waiter(s). Three waiters came and asked if I needed anything, all of them said they would be sure to get it. The forth one actually did it. At the bar the service was the worst I have ever seen. Minimum 10 minutes to order a drink, and no it wasnt that busy. The bartenders moved like turtles and would rather talk than serve customers. The bowling lanes were banged up, but kind of expected for a family venue. Overall there is lots to do for families. Just dont go at peak times and expect to spend a good amount of money.

Good place to spend the afternoon with the kids.

We had a great time for our daughters party. They took care of everything and the kids had a lot of fun. The only thing we didnt care for is the kids had to use their arcade cards to sing karaoke. Mind you we paid for the kids to play in the arcade (the arcade cards) and Kareoke. So it wound up being​ I paid extra to sit in a karaoke room. If I paid for the karaoke the kids should have been able to sing, for free, for the allotted time.

The staff was very helpful and Georgina was an amazing party host. Management fixed the cake error. Thank you to the staff working on February 8, 2020!!

Went to this location for bowling for Monday madness deal.Bowling lanes had no oil and made it impossible to bowl unless throwing a straight ball.Talked to a few employees about it, they didnt seem to know much about bowling or oiling the lanes. Gave us another lane to try, same thing. No oil.Talked to the manager at that point and pretty much no resolution. He didnt seem to know much about bowling either.Tossed a ball down the lane for about 2 games and left.No refund, nothing.We wont be going back. What a joke as far as trying to bowl there.Such a shame too. Nice, clean establishment.

I went here when I was a teen its fun for all ages. Fun for the kids and the family. Clean, tons of different things to do. Great for birthday partys, or for the parents to play pool and have a few drinks and for the kids to run around and have good time. They also serve food, and have a Food court. They have bowling, putt putt golf, video games, arcade area, Lazer tag, pool area, and VR roller coaster. Its definitely a place Id recommend for anyone to check out.

The past few times weve gone theyve been very shorthanded so if youre looking for a job Im almost certain they must be hiring. Other than that the arcade is fun but there arent many that are younger child friendly. The bowling prices are decent much better priced than the bowling alley in Texas City. The prizes could be better but what do you expect really? The food is good and the entree and arcade card are worth it in the long run.

My fiancé and I like to come here and they are very reasonably priced and offer bowling, laser tag, a game room and billiards. We really like animations after every turn! Only downside is we have had one bad experience where the staff was not very nice to my fiancé because he is Deaf and ignored him when he tried to communicate. We ordered drinks and the lady that brought them just walked away when he was trying to ask her how to pay for the drinks and just ignored him when he tried to get her attention. But that is the only bad experience weve had and the rest of the staff has always been very accomodating and even turn on the captions when we bowl so he can watch the clips ♡
