One would think that a business that relies on the safety it delivers to its clients as paramount to its success would conduct a deep clean during the closure caused by a pandemic. I would like to think that this business would be sparkling clean upon reopening. But that is not what we found 2 days after relaunch on 10/3/2020. The ductwork is filthy. But I did find a motorized lift parked in a corner, the job could have been completed but wasnt. Which makes a customer wonder, what other shortcuts were taken to reopen this store at the safety and expense/health of the children it serves? Further, while we were present; the business was being run by teenagers. There was one very young adult. I confronted her about the water fountains being covered with broken styrofoam cups. I asked why they werent simply turned off like other businesses. She blamed the owner for not following the employees suggestions. The employees that were there did not clear any of the tables, obviously they didnt get sanitized. None of the games or inflatables were sanitized. Ladders and a mop bucket were left in the baby/toddler play area - totally unsafe. The teenage staff never checked our security bracelets upon our exit.

Today was our first time going to a Monkey Joes. I have mixed feelings about this location. My overall rating would probably be 2.5 stars if we could do half-stars.Positives:My son loved playing here! He isnt old enough to be interested in the games, but all the bouncy houses and slides were perfect for him. He played for about 3 hours straight and never grew tired of the place.The food was decent enough...any food that makes my 4-year old happy makes me happy, so no complaints here.The bathrooms were nice and clean too, which is a positive when you have a kid who wants to be all independent when he uses the bathroom.Room for improvement:I think more attention needs to be focused on staff training. There were three people working that I saw during our time there. One of the girls was taking admission payments. It took almost 15 minutes for me to get through the line and there were only two paying customers in front of me. The woman ahead of me said she was in line 45 minutes. The woman working had an issue, and it doesnt seem like any of the other staff there knew how to help her. That, or they didnt help her.Those three staff members then spent 99% of our 3 hours there behind the counter. A gentleman came out once to tell an older kid not to climb up on the wall of one of the slides, but many other kids were not doing what they should be doing and he said nothing to them.I also let him know two older boys were playing without socks on. He told an older woman behind the counter - she appeared to be a manager, but I didnt confirm - what I said to him. I dont think she realized I was still at the counter, as she had her back to me; she told him not to worry about it and that nobody else has complained. It took another parent saying something to them 45 minutes later before then older woman sent the gentleman to address it. I had to laugh as I saw their sanitation declaration hung up by the bathrooms. Not so sure people should believe everything they read here.I think Ill take my kids to a Monkey Joes again. Ill probably try another location though. Im curious to see if the management issues are limited to this location or if its more of a company-wide issue. I wont go as far as to say I wouldnt recommend this place. Just make sure you understand what you may and may not get out of the experience.

Had alot of fun with the kiddos only issue was the bigger kids were trampling the little kids to go up the stairs for the slide they should have staff by the slides!!

I had a birthday party here for my 3 year old son. There was a wide age range of 19 kids total. And I had about 30 adults attend. There was good and bad ...The good: Party went off without a hitch! Party hostess was great and took care of everything for me! She set up, served the food, cut the cake and got me anything I needed! FANTASTIC and easy for me! The party room was clean and quiet with the door closed. My son got his own inflatable party chair which was really nice!I ordered additional food to the package deal. Chips, veggie tray and fruit tray. All were worth the money which surprised me! The veggie and fruit tray were full and very appealing! The Pizzas were large. And instead of soda for the kids, we were able to do lemonade. All the kids had a good time and could stay longer then the party timeframe and play. Bounce houses were pretty well kept up. Only places I saw worn were at the entrances of them and thats to be expected.The Bad: It ended up being pricey. I think additional kids added to the party package shouldnt be charged the full price as someone walking in not in a party. There should be a discounted group rate. I paid $11/ extra child and several didnt even play much if at all. The pizza was awful. Completely tasteless and Im not real picky on my pizza quality. But, Ive enjoyed a $2 frozen pizza much more then this. $16 for an awful pizza! :( Its really the only thing that truly upsets me of my entire experience. Also, there is no real security far as leaving with someone elses kid. They check your bracelet to make sure it matches parent to child. BUT thats only if you walk up to the counter and wait to leave. Obviously if youre going to kidnap a child youd just walk out. Theres no one thatll even notice let alone actually walk out from behind the counter to do anything about it. So. Watch your children closely! Its your job as a parent anyways.

The area was clean. Your kids could come to jump without needing a reservation or being an attendee at a party. There were plenty of kids but no one got hurt or was fighting over anything. There was plenty of space for them to move around without being on top of each other. There was massage chairs for parents to sit in and relax while waiting on the children as well as child friendly food and drinks.

The place is clean and is a great space for kids. The arcade was pretty good and working order. However, both of my kids (6 &3) got burns from the slides near their elbows. We have been to many inflatable places and they have never gotten burns before.

We had our daughters (Jasmine S.) birthday party at Monkey Joes yesterday (8/18/19, at 1:00 P.M.) and everything went so perfect, not only because we were with a group of amazing kids and parents, but also because we had an amazing hostess (Im not sure of her name. I think she said Kayla, but the receipt said something else). We all had an amazing time, including the parents. The hostess was so friendly and helpful. It was a great birthday. I would recommend it to friends and families.

Great place for birthday parties. They could up their game on the he prizes though... The $25 it costs to get a few quarter machine items is weak sauce otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Parents are free! Its never real busy. My 3 year old always has a good time.

I am always amazed that the mats are so slippery...I cant imagine how many broken limbs are a result of this every year. Other than that, we enjoy bringing the kids here and the staff does a great job of identifying the kids that have no rules or boundaries set by their parents.

My 4 year old had a pretty fun time. There was no regulators for pushing and shoving, so she had a pretty hard time getting a turn or up the ladders. A lot of the game machines were broken and the staff wasnt very helpful. When we came up to claim our ticket prizes all of the staff who were standing around at the counter doing nothing scattered and disappeared. I like the idea of this place, but they need more and better staff and to keep up with equipment maintenance.

1st time at this place my kids had alot of fun but I think it would be better if they had a rock climbing wall for the bigger kids

Its Good time pass for kids to drain their energy by jumping and having fun, there are 2 big bouncy houses for big kids and 4 bouncy houses for kids 4 and under. The arcade looks good but some of them dont work, invade you buy card load it with money and play, the tickets that you win from Arcade games gets loaded to your card and dont get physical tickets, as my kids wondered why tickets were not coming and then we came to know that.

Had so much fun! Awesome place. We will be back!

It was my very first time visiting. The place was clean and the staff was really friendly & helping with any questions.

The power was out which is the only reason they got a 4. Things happen that are out if our control. It was also waiting. But they got a 4 because staff were awesome. Engaging. Playful professional and kind. They let the kids run around play tag. Make believe games since the electricity was out. They had mascots and small games like Simon says. Amazing staff there guys. Just amazing. Clean polite fun. Only downfall: power lol. We will be back. Our kids love it there

My 3 year old daughter and nephew had a great time. We went on a Saturday which was a little busy, but got there shortly after opening so they had a good hour before it got too crowded. Definitely will come back, probably more likely during the week but a fun place to burn some energy during the winter months. Also if you download their app, you earn a free admission!

My son loves this place. $10 for him to jump around is totally worth it. Bathrooms are always clean and you constantly see the staff out cleaning the floor. Everything is well taken care of and the stuff is always nice. They could use some face lifting in spots where its looking a bit run down.

They added more arcade games so I paid $20 for 2 boys to look at games mainly. There are only 6 inflatables. One kid isnt bad for price but once you have more, there should be a price discount. I would rather go to chuck e cheese.

A significant portion of the floor space is dedicated to a pay-to-play arcade. If Im going to pay for admission, I dont want to have a lot of space dedicated to sucking me dry if even more cash. There should be a lot more attention to their inflatables and other options for all kids to play on.

Plenty of bounce houses so kids arent bored. Someone walking around watching for bullies!!! Concession stand with reasonable prices. Pay one price and stay until closing if you want!!

The most unsafe place I have ever been at so much Miss Direction on the play quipment and kids that are not the right size are playing on the bigger kids equipments and the smaller kids equipment thats more appropriate for them is being unused kids are climbing up the slides and stir the stairs and kids are sliding down the slides while the other kids are climbing up the slides and the stairs are very wobbly that even I was worried that I would fall backwards and I would even hurt myself if I did so if a small kid fell backwards on it they would most definitely hurt themselves or paralyze themselves. Parents who do not care about their kids welfare feel free to bring them here other than that ownership of this place if you see this review you really need to revamp this place I feel like Im in a slumlords business and children running and using the restrooms wearing their socks then going back out to the equipment with the same socks that they were on the restroom floor with extremely gross and there is no sign on the bathroom doors that say put on your shoes before entering. Total German protection yeah right how about total germ prevention try working on that!!!!

This place use to be nice, but within the last few years it has gone down hill. The bathrooms are dirty and smell of urine. There were broken toilets and the doors do not latch shut in the ladies room. One of the water fountains have been broken for the last few years. The carpet is dirty looking and the bounce houses look like they are used and abused. Some of the surfaces of the structures are ripped, torn and look horrible. The staff was not overly attentive. We are going to try a different Monkey Joes hopefully they are better.

Wednesday, October 24, 2018, 1:30PM local time, my daughter and I visited Monkey Joe’s. The girl (white brunette girl, long hair) who asked us to fill up the waiver form never smiled not once. It seems as if we were the ones begging them to have our business. If only her hospitality is as thick as her makeup. She didn’t say a word, just grumpily handed out the form and let us in, no briefing, nothing. Someone must have pooped in her cereal this morning. This was our first (and last time) visited Monkey Joe’s. I didn’t know I was supposed to put on some socks (as I mentioned, girl whose cereal got pooped on this morning didn’t say anything). So when I walked around, fuller-sized lady told me in a pissed manner, “EXCUSE ME MA’AM. YOU HAVE TO HAVE SOCKS ON!” I didn’t bring any socks for myself and she pointed at the registration area, “YOU COULD BUY THEM HERE.” How am I supposed to know? Mini Monkey Zone area for children under 3 is more like for children at least 6+. The area is too hard to explore for children under 3. This whole playground is not for kids under 3.Please oversee and review your business again. It’s so empty there for a reason.

This place is DISGUSTING. They better learn how to clean properly and keep the DIRTY SYRINGES out of the play area or the WI Health Dept will shut this place down like it should be. My 3 year old picked up what looked to be a USED syringe and brought it to me. We left IMMEDIATELY after I brought it to a high school worker who seemed to not care one bit and told ME to throw it away. They also claim to have good security, and even though they do give you a wristband, no one checks it as youre leaving to make sure you are leaving with the correct child. Any child could just be swept up at any time and just leave with them. SO many violations in one visit....trust me. Stay away. Just an utterly rancid place.

Website says you can come and play anytime they are open. Sign on door as well as google maps say they are open until 6pm on Sunday. They kicked my kids out at 4:45 for a private party. Not fun after driving 45 min here and finding out kids only get 45 min to play. Staff was rude about it even though they weren’t following their own rules. I’ve visited many times. They lost me and extended family as customers. Think twice before going as you can’t trust open hours.

It was fun, but my daughter cut her leg on one of the slides where the velcro came up. The bathroom was also gross, but it is a kids place. Pizzas and fruit were yummy.

The service is trash here. There were 3girls just standing behind the counter not doing anything. The guy working the food area had skin flaking off his face. Another guy in a camp hat walking around yelling at kids. I never seen anything clean anything. There are kids touching everything it needs to stay clean! Games dont work or are empty. And the prices are way too much. $15 for a frozen pizza and there not even good. So if you just plan on letting your kid jump around. It might be worth the $12

Not impressed with this place at all. Ordered pizza meal deal; pitcher of Coke was watered down, but they did replace it with lemonade. The pizza was partially burnt. Quite a few games were out of service. My granddaughter had fun, so I guess thats what matters.

Gets 4 instead of 5 because the card dispenser for the games took $5 from in exchange for a card, but I didn’t get the card. Turns out the machine was new and not yet ready to sell cards. Ok. Let employees and manager know. Took down my name and number to be refunded. No follow through. It’s only $5 so it’s not a big deal. Good place to let the kids burn some energy.

They did some remodeling inside they got rid of the slide and added more arcade games now so my 3 year old son isnt as enthused! And for my 7 year old niece it gets old after 30 minutes and shes in my pocket for tokens just because. They need to cater to a specific age group and stick to it!

Ive been here several times for birthday parties, and the kids always have a blast.

I was here with my cousins today to show them how cool it was but we went this morning and the houses were slippery and my cousin had a meltdown and some of the arcades would not give me my tickets and there were not many people there anyway and I ordered a cherry slushie and for some reason it was white and it tasted like 7up

The thrills the kids get from going down those slides are next to none and the feeling of safety for the parents even at those height frights

My nephews love it here. So much fun but be warn. U will have irresponsible parents who do not watch their kids and they will ended up hurting a kid. This happen to me and I was so mad. Plus there were some teens that were playing which they did not pay. Best go when it more quiet.

My daughter loves this place, when a classmate had a birthday party here she talks about it for about a month before and a month after. This is one of the only places you can actually relax and do something on your laptop or phone because the kids are otherwise occupied for hours. Pizza is pretty good, food is not too horribly overpriced.

We came for a my 5 year old’s classmates birthday. The place was by my mesures clean and there was no funky foot smell or strong bleach smell. With is automatically a good thing at a bounce house venue. I would book my kids birthdays party here. For a small group of 10 kids or so.

The employee are the worst no customer service food is so bad...will never ever go back...waste of money. I like how they responded on here but literally the manager and owner have poor customer service..manger told me owner doesnt care and he doesnt this place is a waste of money equipment isnt safe staff isnt trained my two year old niece was cut by a staff member taking the band off her wrist no apologies no nothing..plz dont waste your money Im looking into measures to have the city to shut this unsafe place down

My kids love this place. I have a 3 year old and an 8 year old. My little one only plays on the one for the little kids. Every time that we go, there is always an child and more that go on the one meant for the younger ones. I wish the workers did a better job at monitoring that because not all parents will.

We had our sons 3rd birthday here today, and it was great! The staff was really nice and helpful which makes the experience that much better. I would agree with some of the other reviews that there were an exceptional amount of games that were broken, but other than that it was great! I would definitely recommend this place for a kids party, they do all the work so you can enjoy time with the kiddos!

Came for My nephews birthday, spent $98 for 8 kids to get in.Totally expected that with these types of kids places, but theres only 5 bounce houses Definitely felt ripped off. Then we ordered pizzas was charged like 8xs for 2 pizzas. Mistakes happen.. but the girl (blonde big lashes)at the counter was super emotionless and barely spoke. Just said dryly that it should be resolved in a few days, not resurring at all. Had to ask for proof. She Shouldnt be front counter if she had ZERO customer service . Then it took over an hour for the 2 pizzas to even come out, they were burned n had to make again. When they did come, they were gross, no flavor, worse than the cheap frozen pizzas at the grocery store. Why charge $16 dollars ? Felt ripped off again. Then to top it all off the bathroom was dirty 3 stalls had pee all over the place. Really disappointed in the over all experience. Its unfortunate when people spend there hard earned money and you leave feeling like you got taken for ..

Place is a dump. Dirty disgusting and filthy!! Bet that place hasnt been wiped down in years. Half the games didnt work. Candy game didnt barely have any candy in it. Toy machine had only a few toys. Wont ever be back.

I was here 6 months ago and it was a lot cleaner and in better repair then. Today, the biggest slide is out of commission and other equipment is worn. Both water fountains were broken, but my son got one to work. Staff is very attentive and efficient. Party rooms always look nice. Kids are having a great time despite issues.

My kid got sick the last time we went, they ask like 12 dollars to play on the 5 diffent attrations and everything looks pretty warn down. The staff are generaly uncarring high schoolers who can go as far as to be rude.

My kids love it but there is no supervision by employees on the equipment. Of course some parents arent watching their children and its not my job to police the other kids but when mine get hurt there is a problem.

Watched two older kids stomp on and kick a younger kid in the bounce house. Of course the parent of either child was not around so felt I hand to yell out play nice, Im watching! There is just not enough monitoring of all the kids from either parents or staff. Only two staff working today and they had their hands full with admissions and food orders. You sign a waiver - but in my opinion this place is not worth the risk, even though my kid did not get banged up too bad and seemed to have a good time. There are safer places to choose from.

Docking stars because the toddler area is basically non non-existent. We couldnt even find it the first time as it was a busy weekend day and it was expectedly chaotic with children running wild. The second visit, on a weekday morning, was better and I did locate the designated under 3 area, however it wasnt much more than a couple of toy kitchen/playhouse items. Would like to see more staff presence on the floor to keep after the extra rambunctious kids. Otherwise, its a great way to get your kiddos ready for naptime since they will definitely be burning some calories!

The website states that there is an area for toddlers - all there is is a train they can sit in and it moves a plastic house the ones you can put in your own back yard and some things on the walls - there were no inflatables for a 2 year old. Very disappointed a waste of time and money. They also have you fill out a waiver when you get there which I understand and they also put matching bands on your child and you so when you leave they have to match. The problem is theres nobody at the door to check the bands - I had to wait and ask the guy checking people in the check our bands. Will never go there again and will tell people not to go there. A great disappointment.

This is a great place to take young kids to burn off energy during the cooler months when playgrounds are not really viable. It does get crowded on weekends especially and it can be bad to find a table for parents. But the only admission you have to worry about is for the child. There are dedicated areas for age 3-and-under, so the littles have somewhere to bounce. My daughter, who is 4.5 loves this place. Birthday Parties here are reasonable as well.

A lot of the inflatables had questionable duck taped patch work for holes. Not to mention none of the arcade games had tickets.. So my son got maybe a 3rd of the tickets he deserved because it is literally ran by teenagers... I did not see one adult to hold them accountable and make sure they are doing their job... Like refilling the arcade games with tickets, or anything for that matter...verh disappointed... Took my son their for his birthday... Never again.

A few unattended misbehaved children can really cause havoc. The signs are everywhere indicating you should supervise your children. Brought concerns to staff twice and they didnt really do anything. The couple culprits parents were glued to their phones the entire time.
