Relaxing to just look at the water flowing and the nature. Sun shines bright on the water past noon makes it worthwhile.

A beautiful spot to walk and watch the wildlife. Its common to find great blue herons and night herons fishing here. Sometimes if your lucky you can even find a large snapping turtle sunning itself on the rocks below the dam.

If you just want to get out and sit by the river in a new cool sunny day this is the spot

There is a little overlook with some benches on the north side of the river - I like to sit and listen to the water tumbling over the dam. No matter what time of year, there are lovely views here.

I love walking along the trails and looking out at all the wildlife from the bridge. Its such a relaxing spot, and I highly recommend the area for a calm walk or picnic along the docks.

Great Blue Heron

Its LOUDER than you think. Also. Great for walking the dog. And meeting other doggos. Or taking the shortcut from the housing authority to the stop and shop.
