Nice trail to enjoy whether walking, running, or biking. For those wandering and exploring it does transverse through private properties which just makes the trail itself an odd placement. In the areas where there are more forested areas it would be nice to be able to just enjoy without paranoid posted signs everywhere. There is one land owner that seems to have fun heading west away from the black river woth bird houses and a Sasquatch monster along the fence, I thought it was nice to see someone having fun with the public.

Lovely 4.55 mile paved trail along the black river. Rocks, white water and water lilies along the way.

Beautiful. Great running training! I was able to take my 81-year-old mother on her walker while my two large dogs and I ran the trail all four of us enjoyed our time on the trail.

This place is fantastic for anyone wanting to walk or run outdoors... great family outings and bikes are welcome and so are dogs. Water views along the black river.

So lucky we moved here just in time to see the leaves change! Such a beautiful trail! I would caution everyone to be on alert when walking with small children or pets. We have a small dog and happened to cross paths with a rather large coyote. Luckily it was spooked and ran off.

This is always a beautiful and relaxing walk. The path and area are well maintained, and runs right along side the river. People you encounter are usually friendly.

4.5 mile, flat, perfectly paved.

Trail has no winter grooming. You may as well tromp through a snowy, rutted icy field. Use snow shoes.

Love the park, I wish there were a few more benches for resting but Im just happy to have this place as an option to walk my dog. The scenery is lovely and its a great choice for walking or running a further distance than the more urbanized areas provide. Some spots if you search the grassline carefully, are great for wandering off and meditating.

Always a nice peaceful trail to walk.

Its been around so long and is kept in such excellent condition and the new addition was nice I wish it had a branch of of it curling up towards the hill near the parking lot and back around maybe another 0.75 of a mile or a way to meet the original trail from the addition going over or under the road.

The Black River trail is a public trail, so thats nice for certain occasions. Its broken up in sections, divided by public roads; so thats a little irritating. But its a good trail, if you dont want to be somewhere secluded.
