On a quiet night its alright, but its hard to find much peace with all the traffic.

-Big Review-Summary: Nice spot with plenty to see and do. Plenty of bars, shops, tattoo shops, game hobby shops, small clubs, NY quick eats, and a nice Park in the center. The farther from the center you go, the more sketchy it becomes. Weekend nights have a rowdy bunch that hang outside of the bars, but thats to be expected.Parents/Adults/Out-of-Towner: Get a babysitter for a date night. Not much for kids here other than the small park in the center, which is a short visit at best during the day. Place is mainly adult oriented with some places for young adults also.Pokemon GO players: Numerous Pokestops and Gyms throughout the area. Plenty of Pokemon spawn here and I find lures popped at the Pokestops consistently. If hitting the spot late at night, be sure to either bring something for self defense, and/or rove in a group for safety purposes. Ive not had an issue traveling alone yet, but Im a hard target.

I love how beautiful this town is. The square is a reminder of how much history there is here.

This city sucks at revitalizing the square. The one time we get good foot traffic (the pokemon go craze) the city council wanted them gone. Not to mention the gaudy fountain they had shipped in from out of state.

Great place. Friendly, staff, that are so good teaching, coaching, encouraging us in our sundry athletic endeavors. One feels right at home. I am always greeted cheerfully, like all are glad to see me. We are so blessed to have this organization, with such dedicated staff!

Really, Really boring. There was nothing to see in the 10 minutes it took to walk around and visit. Only a few folks loitering around doing nothing.

Interesting shops and thankfully the sidewalks are cleared of snow unlike so many sidewalks in front of homes located in the 400 and 500 block of Massey street and Arsenal Street near Massey in front of bussinesses

Old style town square with a lot of the old buildings still in pretty good condition. Our favorite place to stop here is the Crystal Restaurant which is the oldest restaurant in Watertown. Food is excellent. The ambiance and prices will remind you of the past. Very inexpensive.

Theyve done a nice job of making a public square, from time to time you can find people enjoying the water fountain or you can find the occasional protester holding signs. Either way, its enjoyed by all.

A Church, A nightclub, Local pub grub and Cuisine, A store for tablet on gaming, Subway, residential apartments, A Congressmans office, and memorials to fallen Union Soldiers are just the tip of the offerings. Lovely on a snowy February night, a must see!

Maps around there need to be updated and more add to them like food locations, library, etc for people who walk there for the first time or drive it very hard to find places when you have to walk around and find it your self or help from someone local can help your best bet is Google map if you want to experience the area local eat, drinks, etc

Nice little park in the center of town if you can get there without being run over.

The town square in Watertown is a lovely area. We recently visited our granddaughter there and enjoyed walking around then eating lunch outside at Vitos Gourmet - it was very good food and employees are very helpful and nice! I was told that the park and fountain were designed by the same man that designed Central Park in New York City! There are several beautiful old churches and gorgeous homes in the historical district and it is just a charming place!

We had such a great time there. Highly recommend it.

It is in the heart of downtown.

Very dangerous area to cross the street, cars do not stop for pedestrians, almost got hit while crossing on a red light with a stroller. Homeless person laughed at me and said his favorite hobby was watching people try to cross....referenced the game Frogger.

Good local eateries and bars. Vitos has great wraps.

Loved this quaint town, spent 20 years there.
