Nice to see theyve redone the park. Happy to see the city is putting money into the parks that for years were run down. The pond and fountain remind me of Mirror lake at Hubbard Park. The baseball field is still kept up well.

I took my son who is almost 5, To the play scape it was great! A little bit of garbage but my son wanted to help clean. So we put on some gloves and picked up a bit .We also got to see some baby geese !

Grew up in Waterbury, this place looks much better then it did when I was growing up. There are many parts off the main park, but it is a little hood so some of the parts arent so good while others are out in the open. Just use discretion, there are tennis courts, hills to slide down in the winter, baseball and basketball courts. And trails around ponds with sprinkler systems. Theres also a pool

Spectacular views, endless fun for my 4, 10, and 17 year old. Each child had their own section of fun. The trails, lakes, sprinkler, swings, tennis courts. Peaceful and safety

Love to bring kids to this clean park. Children love to cool off at the sprinklers. My dog loves this park too.

Very clean, people are keeping there distance. Very nice for walks, runs or just for some fun with your child.

Disappointed, has potentially but there is geese droppings everywhere and the smell is bad. Play scape area is old. Sad Waterbury doesnt take care of its parks.

Had a picnic today at the park. We stayed about three hours. Second time going to this park. Its large with lots of paths. The fountains in the water are pretty. Some people were fishing. There are plenty of benches for sitting. Havent explored the entire park yet, but I will. Plan on returning soon with a good book.

Place to bring kids, play tennis, feed the ducks and just relax ... The kids have a water scape which they will LOVE!!

Lots of geese and squirrels, good for a walk or a jog. Its also a great place for kids since it has a playground. Theres usually people fishing, jogging or having a picnic. I love the little creek and I love sit around it or by the trees close to the pond. The only bad thing is trash, if you see trash please pick it up and toss it at the garbage can, theres plenty.

Outstanding park. Great, friendly Canadian Geese and American ducks. They eat bread out of your hands. They are not afraid. Dont get bitten accidentally.

Nice park nice sprinkler set up

I love this park I think its so beautiful. The area is pretty rough tho and the amount of trash that winds up in the park is depressing. A ton of ducks and geese there poopin up the paths but besides those things its a nice park for a walk or jog even. Theres a big play area for kids and plenty of room for a picnic or whatnot.

This is a beautiful, well maintained park with something for everyone. Playground and sprinklers for the kids. Ponds with ducks for folks who prefer to sit and relax outdoors. And beautiful landscape for people who long to walk among the trees even in the middle of the town. I am not familiar with town per se, but It certainly appeared as though it was less privileged than what you would typically find around parks of this quality.

This would be a nice park if it werent for the junkies hanging out where the kids play. I dont need my 6 year old watching people abuse drugs while playing. Maybe full time police presence would change it because it is a very nice park otherwise.

The city of waterbury has done an excellent job! The park is kept up and clean! My son who is 5 loves to play on the jungle gym and play with the ducks!

It is beautiful there. The pool and the sprinkler were not open so we did not stay long it was hot. Also a group of boys were hanging out using foul language and commenting about us being white. I had to leave because of my grand daughter is 6 and they were out of control. They ranged from 8 to 12 in age. No supervision.Other wise it is nice there.

Big park alot to to do and places to go warning dont head to the basketball courts there are sometimes fights there but they are still respectful and people wont let it get too crazy other that that was a good day at the park

Big nice clean park

Went there with my young daughter and cousin. There were older kids using foul language at the playground. Other than that the location is nice and the park was fairly clean. They also have a nice baseball field and great sledding location on those snowy winter days

This park is beautiful. Lots of geese, ducks and frogs at the ponds. The fountain is relaxing no matter what type of day youre having. I enjoy walking the park with other without my dog.

I love the park in general and the animals in the lake

They have one playscape for the little ones and one playscape for the bigger kids which I like. Places to sit. The have porta potties. They do have a pool for swimming every summer. Its an over all good park to go to.
