Beautiful place. Plus the kids had a great time playing
Tennis courts are not great but usuable when its not raining. Great fields for soccer, football and baseball. Nice courts for basketball. Great pool and playground area. The center itself needs to be renovated.
My children love this playground...they ask to go all the time. It is a nautical theme which is really cute. I remember when it was a mcdonalds where that big bldg is in the background...i wish it was still there. It feels like someone is watching u over your shoulder...its hard to explain and weird. Anyway, we will still visit sometimes. Its never dirty or crowded...just a cute playground just right for little kids!
We watch little league there. Nice baseball field. Good viewing area. Parking can be a hassle but usually find a spot. If you are going to baseball field ignore Google map last half mile.
Randall Recreation Center is a great place for kids in southwest DC in the Waterfront neighborhood. It comes with a large playground with a sea animal theme, a pool, basketball court, a soccer field, and some cool murals. If you need a place to take your kids, go here!
I play pick up basketball here fairly regularly, and would say I have a good time doing it. Its mostly neighborhood kids and some adults that play more on the weekends. Theres also tennis center with at least two courts, a large space for baseball/soccer, and the rec center itself.Highly recommend if you want to get some exercise in! Theres decent street parking nearby thats paid parking but its free on Sunday!
It is a safe playground, kids enjoy the whale a lot.
I love this recreation center. The water themed playground is amazing. They have great classes for children, teens, and adults of all ages.
Who knew they had ballet. Well they do. My 6 year loved it. Then stayed on very nice, clean playground after
It was busy, which is good to see. We used the tennis courts and there were piles of garbage stacked up along side the courts despite the being a dumpster steps away. The tennis courts are only in OK shape; they could use a resurfacing.
One of DCS great public outdoor spaces. A full sized baseball/softball field, several basketball and tennis courts (newly surfaced) a large pool with beach entry and a small playground for the little ones, also recently updated. All in the heart of the southwest corridor and a few steps from Navy Yard.
Is was mine and it is getting better every year
The fields with turf are nice but there are no outdoor drinking fountains
Ms. Hall is a wonderful lady very respectful and friendly. She treats everyone that come there like family.
Fantastic free course offerings at this local gem of a recreation center. Kind staff and an awesome playground just next door.
A good experience.
