We saw a performance of Madame Butterfly. It was spectacular. As a trained opera singer, I was blown away by the talent in this production. The theater also made special accommodations for our party. I was very thankful. Ill definitely be back to Source.

I have seen many shows here. Its a great venue, with super friendly staff. Its not a upscale theater of course, but great considering the tickets and location

Black-box theatre on 14th near U st. Was there for the 2017 summer Source Festival. Attended three evenings of plays. Found discount tickets online.

Wonderful guest companies and occasionally had seen very talented performances. Last one of Master and Margarita was absolutely amazing adaptations of the hardest novels to do a theater adaptation. Other times with other productions can be hit or miss.. overall a good neighborhood theater over many years. Friendly staff.

Source is a great venue with a ton of variety in what they have on stage. Im a particular fan of the WIT program - it has an amazing range of different improv shows and a bunch of them are free so it makes a good date night :)

A very intimate and up close and personal experience. Easy access by public transportation and many parking garages in the vicinity. A must see, if only for the unique setting.

I came with a friend last night to the opening of The Cole Porter Reviewwhich was delightful in every sense. It began 40 minutes late as we waitedfor latecomers in a bus. There wasnt a disgruntled mummer in the audience andwhen 20 older people filed in, some in motorized chairs or on walkers., there was actual applause. The theater staff handled this situation so expertly, thoughtfully and with genuine care and goodhumor that the episode became part of the production. The show must go on and it did with greatenthusiasm, marvelous voices and creative narrative and staging. Applause all round.Tish GardnerYou are welcome to edit it.

Source is an intimate theater located around U Street. Ive been here a few times now for an improv tournament and I like the coziness of it. Although there arent a lot of seats, the seats are at least comfortable and there is ample leg room. There arent a lot of bathrooms however (only 2 stalls for women and 1 single bath for men/women), so be prepared to wait a while if youre male.

A nice little theatre. I saw it in a configuration for improv comedy. Acoustics are good and they use bleacher like risers so everyone gets a good view.

Great staff, nice little house, excellent performance! I was seated under the stairs, though, and someone was tromping up and down during the show.
