Great food great people great place...

Sitting inside the restaurant while posting this. We randomly entered since we were looking for a vegetarian friendly restaurant to eat. The vibe and the service made our day!!!I would rate this as one of the best and most friendly places in DC for sure. The food was so so good!! Also the review would be incomplete without a shoutout to Becca for being the most friendly and humble human being i have ever come across

Always a pleasant time whenever going. The staff are super friendly and attentive. Food and drinks are great too. Theyve earned a new regular. This place is a go-to for a relaxed time to blow off steam and chill. Strongly recommend. Shout out to Becca for the great service!

Couldnt love Nero more! Delicious cocktails, outstanding food (simple, tasty, but still elegant!) and phenomenal customer service by management and staff. The ambiance is warm, comfortable and modern: great for a special occasion or just for when youre looking for a swanky hang. Cannot WAIT to go back!

This is not the Dupont bar were used to. Great ambiance, great cocktails, and some of the best wine selection in the city. Look for Catherine and Kamila, they made some excellent cocktails.

The staff is great! Everyone is very friendly and adequately masked. Though its a limited menu during covid, the available food and drinks are very well made. I look forward to trying the wine vending selection and the Indian dish offerings when things fully reopen!

Popped in walking by and enjoyed every min. Service was incredible. Dining was outstanding. Will definitely suggest having a meal here. We will be returning !!

We made a reservation ahead of time for outdoor seating ( bc Covid) but when we got there they told us they didn’t have a table for us. We offered to wait and they refused to seat us at all.

Nero is great inside as it is its patio...great service (Becka is the best) and the most delicious pizza selection. If you want to relax and have a great time with friends, this is the place.

We arrived just before happy hour ended. Ordered a round of drinks and apps off the happy hour menu, then stayed for several hours. Great ambience, great music, and very chill lounge in the back. However, when we received our check we were charged full price for our first round and apps, which were ordered during happy hour. Waitress was not helpful in fixing this and rather than argue we just paid. Bummer because it was otherwise a really great spot.

Came across this place on a Sunday afternoon and was beyond surprised. This is a fantastic date spot with a great environment. The staff is extremely responsive and friendly. I highly recommend the Tandoori pops. I’ll definitely be coming back soon.

Food is excellent. Love the fries and pizza. The first time I had an old fashioned here it was incredible--it was called blood orange smoked old fashioned or something and it was amazing. The second time wasnt that great but more typical of old fashioned cocktails in most places, not worth $15.

It is a great hideaway. The bar looks like an underground speakeasy. There is good specials for the happy hour. The decoration and atmosphere are great. There are a lot of wines on tap, and tons of other drinks.

Stopped in for drinks at happy hour. Friendly bartenders. I enjoyed the atmosphere a great deal. Interesting decor and a great playlist. Limited selections on the happy hour menu, but what they did have was decent enough.

What a wonderful little bar! Had a great experience. Definitely worth hitting up before the clubs get rolling.

Small place and I dont like crowded places like that. The back of Nero had space to dance and was pretty decent. The staff though are awesome people. No attitudes and they always had a smile on their faces and even made quick small talk. Very nice environment though. Its not a place I would go to due to the size, however if there is an event happening there that I want to attend, I wont hesitate to attend. Definitely a more friendly place then Dirty Martini staff was.

Very lovely place nice food, romantic vibes but only order pizza if you are hungry., All other plates are very small. Tasty but small.

Staff was incredibly sweet while also bring extremely efficient on a busy night with a private event. Cocktails were great. Fried brussel sprouts were wonderful. (I happily ate the entire plate by myself). 10/10 would recommend.

Lot’s of energy!!! Fantastic cocktails, 20+ variety of red and white wines in wine vending machine. Great for wine tasting!!! good selection of appetizers and interesting dinner menu a blend of Italian American flavors... loved their mushroom truffle pizza! Old fashioned is pretty good!

Great food, mostly good selection, although they had run out of two of my partys first choices. Service was good but a little on the slow side. Will definitely return.

Went for happy hour and our party was served by Red, who was attentive and just plain awesome. The pizza here is legit, with a crust that still makes my mouth water. The lamb samosas and truffle fries were also a hit. The cocktails were tasty and priced right. Well be back for more of that 24-hour aged crust!

First time visit NERO and it was really good for me it was not like a club. However you can dance like next to the bar and have a drink and in the back is seating area with tables and chairs very chill and the vibes are amazing. I will be coming back in the future. Stay cool Nero

The pizza was amazing! Cherries on pizza, who knew, but it absolutely works! Also, great wine at affordable prices. Its like an arcade with the claw game, without the claw, and you always win the wine. I loved it.

Great wine selection (buy a wine card and try whatever you like!) And great pizza/Italian bites. Relaxed, laid-back vibe where you can hear people talk, though it does get clubby later at night on weekends. Good happy hour deals!

If you can handle small, tight spaces, but love good atmosphere, friendly service, and tasty food & beverage, give Nero a visit.

Upscale, exclusive-feeling neighborhood bar in DC that serves a variety of delicious Pinot Noir wine varieties. Look forward to visiting again sometime soon!

Great new trendy Dupont Circle restaurant. Small menu but absolutely on point. It’s dark and cozy, in my opinion the perfect spot for a date. Great wine selection and decent beer selection as well. The Brussels sprouts, truffle fries, and mushroom pizza were fantastic. My new number one date spot in Dupont.

The DOPEST spot in Dupont! Katherine is an absolute gem, the food the WINE, absolutely spot on. I had the Fried Mozzarella and the Truffle Fries, all absolutely delicious. I am now a regular. And being a history buff, this place is named after one of the most infamous Roman Emporers that ever reigned, right next to Caligula!!! This place is dope!!!

Got here Saturday night, still somewhat early, talking about 11ish, and decided to come in because everywhere else had a long line. I was very pleased especially with the bartender. I dont remember her name but she was nice and very responsive. Will go back again.

I love Nero. It’s a nice place where you can relax and try a variety of craft coctails. Their chicken samosas are great. Staff is nice and friendly.

Great place for drinks

NERO serves all your Italian desires in DuPont Circle. Between a wonderfully friendly staff, an unbeatable bohemian atmosphere, and food thatll knock your tongue right out of your head, there are few comparable choices for lunchtime goodness. The panino is especially recommended for you meat lovers out there, but any pizza is also an excellent choice.

Sat at bar for almost 15 mins and not a single person walked up to us. It wasnt even crowded. We left after 16 minutes.
