Drinks were way over priced. $11 Coronas just an example. Floor space was small. No method for the bartender. Waited almost 30 minutes just to order 3 drinks only for them to be expensive. I’ve been to other spots in DC and Manhattan with mor space and better pricing. I won’t go back!

Didn’t even know this bar existed until Cupid’s Bar Crawl on 2/9/19. Saw that bad reviews about management, still came early in the day, surprised because it was lit, left for other bars participating in the bar crawl. Came back at 9:30 (30 minutes before bar crawl ended) and they tell me they’re closing out. Come on guys!! What did I pay for?! Had a chance to showcase a great bar and blew it. Management should rethink their strategy. Really disappointed. Will be asking for a refund just for this. Do better!!! Ending at 9:30 is a joke for a DuPont circle bar. If your going to operate a bar here understand what level you should perform at first!

Very unprofessional, spoke to a gentleman name Mathews Herbert concerning a party. We scheduled a time for me to visit the venue, I was standing in front of the building for 30mins. Mathew was not even answering his phone, the phone number on google was not working. After I drove for 45 mins for no reason whatsoever!!!! DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE FOR YOUR EVENT!! Absolutely the worst!!

Definitely coming back with my friends! We went for happy hour. Walking in, its super chic and glamorous. Usually food at a bar is not something to highlight but we had at least four rounds of plates because we kept wanting more and was beautifully plated. Service was great too!

Went to this bar for the first time for a bar crawl. Me and my friends were hanging with the owner and some of the staff. One of the staff remembers got too handsy with me so my boyfriend asked him to please stop. Then one of the bouncers proceeded to through him out of the bar and made him spill his drinks all over himself. I’ve never seen such bad costumer service and was appalled at how the staff acted. Awful experience.

Forgot my credit card at the bar, which was on me. But when I came back to get it the staff refused to get it. They told me to come back that evening, and then refused to get it for me again. I still dont have my card back and the experience is horrible.

On eventbrite it said free before 12. Got in line at 11:55pm. There was like 3 dudes in front of us. They held the line til 12... of course. We saw the dudes get out of line and we asked why? $40 cover... For what? No artist was gonna be there or anything like that. Door staff rude. We paid to get in and it was dry. SO DRY. We left after 1230. Went to park instead. I give two stars for the nice decor in the club only.

The first impression is the LAST impression and I had a very bad experience at this place. One of the managers (bald guy) is very disrespectful, petty, and nonchalant. He didnt care that people were standing in line in the freezing cold for over an hour. Nobody ever even mentioned what the hold up was. He allowed people that he knew to enter the club and left others standing there clueless as to what was going on. Only those who reserved tables were allowed in after some time passed, and once the club reached capacity general admission people were told that they had to pay $40 to enter or leave the line. The entire situation was completely unfair. Mind you, there are plenty of other nice bars and clubs in the area. So if that isnt bad business I dont know what is. I would NEVER return to this place.

Beautiful venue but my friend was legitimately ill (not alcohol related) and they wouldn’t give us a glass of water. Had to pay $8 for a mini bottle of Fiji water. And the bartender was incredibly rude about it.

I have never been so annoyed or disappointed in an establishment. It’s so sad I’ve been here several times and have never been inside. The last straw was yesterday. I arrived at 11pm when online it said 10pm and they were not open. Staff has no idea what was going on. I end up going to 18th st lounge come back at 12:30 and they say $40. They would not honor my pass because they had an event that day. The other times as well they would not honor pass, hold up the line and charge $40. Everything is done is done on bad taste for a club that i heard to be so classy. And looking at the other reviews not one comment to positive or negative reviews. Sticking with the park!

Went for a day party back in April. The decor was beautiful but the drinks were pricey and not a huge selection to choose from. The DJ played a lot of older music which I usually dont mind if its mixed up better.

This place is horrible! staff is rude paired with incompetent & have ego issues. The venue is small & overpriced for terrible customer service. do not waste your time or money at this location. the security results to violence before conflict resolution. i would never come here again. I wish i could give this place 0 stars.

There were quite a few issues with getting me into the section that I paid for and some rude staff, but overall after everything was squared away it was a great night and nice venue.

Each and every experience was great. The manager was calm, composed at top of everythingg and sweet. The chef came out to welcome us. Coudnt have picked a better club to come out to.

The worst Club/Lounge in DC. They open the door late when you have an event. Then they take your paid drink when you are not looking so you can pay for new one again. Folks that work there act like they are the owners & gift from God. Amazingly worst bar, lounge, club, staff, etc in the DMV area!!

If i could give this place a zero rating I would. I get to the line, mind you the line is so short, you wouldnt think you would be standing for that long to get in the club. There are 2 people in front of me. After waiting for 20 mins to get in which, I should have been in a long time ago why are they holding the line anyway. Its only 11pm and I know its not packed that fast. So I ask the the indian or hindu decent man, I guess he is the owner because he is controlling the line, can he just let my group and everyone else in front of me in the club because I have to use the restroom. I even offered to buy the two people and him a drink but he declined and didnt let me in the club just because I had to go to the restroom. So when I dont get in, he begins to argue with my friends because they not going to go in without me. I hope this place dont make any money treating people like garbage and then expect a good return. Now whoever the foreigner is who works in front needs to be fired. I didnt get in because I asked a simple question but dont worry I took my money elsewhere. DONT EVER GO HERE, STAY AWAY PEOPLE. This was my second time going.....last night. I actually liked the venue, but i got kicked out for sexual assault. Someone please tell how dancing by yourself, while on the phone and looking in the mirror is sexual assault. I got there at 11:20 ish. It was pretty empty, so no single girls around me were there dancing on the main floor. The foreign guy that told me to leave couldnt even tell me which girl that I allegedly assaulted. it was even police out front, but they didnt even mention it to them. They need to hire bouncers or bottle girls that dont hate when guys just go their establishment to dance.

Ordered 2 whiskey sours, paid $28, had one sip of the sour, asked for the drink to get fixed bc there was 0 whiskey in there. The bartender said he can pour more whiskey and charge for a double, I explicitly said no, I dont want a double shot, I just want the drink remade proportionately without being charged for it. He walked away, another bartender asked if the issue was resolved, I said no, she just poured more whiskey into both drinks, apologized and said she hopes that made up for the inconvenience. At the end of it all, the drinks were so poorly made, we ended up just leaving them full at the bar, only to discover that we were charged for that double shot after all. $50 unauthorized charge for drinks we never even drank. Service is AWFUL, venue is nice.

I attended Saint Yves for the first time this past Friday for a special event (Afropolitan.) The place is indeed super chic as another patron pointed out. My MAJOR concern was the ~22% service charge placed on my credit card tab for three (3) drinks that I ordered totaling $42.00. Only one other time have I been so disrespected, and I have never patronized the subject establishment again. I am a business professional earning a six (6) figure income and imposing a service charge under the pretense that I am not going to tip appropriately is utterly offensive and unacceptable. Sorry Saint Yves, NOT SORRY!

I had a devastating and horrible experience when I showed up at Saint Yves last night. When 3 of my guests and I arrived we entered into the line for reserved tables. I came financially equipped to handle all expenses of my reservation which was $650.00. I was then approached by a guy named Yaz who asked what my name (First/Last) was which I had to tell him twice smh. He went on to tell me nonchalontally I had no reservation. I then pulled up the TableList app which clearly displayed my reservation for 10/21 with the total being $650.00 I electronically agreed to pay upon receiving my VIP table. Yaz looked at what I showed him as if it were foreign language and said unsympathetically, Due to it being a big celebrity night (50 Cent +) tables are now a minimum of $3,000 and turned his back. Disrespectful to say the least!! And honestly, what does that have to do with me and my reservation on my birthday?!? He was egotistical, careless, and helpless. He then came back to say I can use my reservation for another night and/or only offer me a Stand Up Table which was such an insult. Why would my friends and I want to stand up at some bar sized table in 6in heels all night on my birthday?! And I dont go to the club often but only for special occasions like My BIRTHDAY so that reservation would never be thought of again.My friends and I are very disgusted with the lack of professionalism, false promises, false service agreement and disrespect we encountered last night. I had huge balloons in tote with me, a custom made dress/6in heels on, everything done up, thinking I was going to have the time of my life to only be treated like stale food. And because it was a festive night of HUs homecoming, it was not easy to find another venue to acquire a VIP Table. Smh.I will never forget this. Im pretty sure it wasnt many people celebrating their birthday. I cant get last night back and its beyond appalling to have to reminisce on what occurred.

Then, the same guy grabbed the police loud speaker to tell everyone to back up or he would continue to hold the line. Within 5 minutes or so, he exclaimed, THATS IT. Im done! and slammed the door.We never got in. Waste of money, time, and effort.Sad thing is, this isnt the first time. My birthday experience (in September) was subpar, as well.Just save your time, & take your slayful look elsewhere.

Racial profiling at its finest from the front door establishment, came to the grand opening with tickets in hand but got denied while the others got in after me dressed like they just got out of bed while I had on a shirt and tie, take a wild guess what the difference between me and them was, I saw several people like myself get denied in the same fashion while the others were let in with no problems whatsoever, sad really to see DC go down the continued route of gentrification to all levels to now only cater to a certain demographic
