This place is awesome and the owner is very knowledgeable about the D C. Street art scene. If youre into street art or find yourself in Eastern Market definitely worth checking out.

The Fridge proves that Washington, D.C. is a creative city beyond politics. Its a small gallery/art space in an old building in a historic alley behind Barracks Row. Between murals and The Betsy, one of Capitol Hills best brunch spots, its THE alley to visit. The Fridge often rotates its art, but you can be assured whatever is there is unique. The most recent installation I visited is a large graffiti art exhibit and its AWESOME!In addition, you can rent the space out for events. Its one large room with a small bar area in the back. Its perfect!

The guy who owns the place is amazing. one time I went with some people when it was closed and he let us in anyway and gave us an excellent private tour. he was clearly very knowledgable on all the art and whatnot. a little hard to find.

Awesome art gallery off of 8th street in south east. Cool rear alley location with lots of local street art all over the building . I hosted a Beat Konductaz battle here for the Words Beats and Life DC Hip Hop Festival with legendary hip hop producers Ski Beatz, Shawn J. Period and Hezekiah of Beat Society OG.

The hidden gem of the street art and graffiti world... I would even say of the contemporary art world! Exhibits change regularly, so every visit may give you a new experience! Say Hi to Bongo, the gallery dog!

Presidents Hall is a great tour. Too much art to take in. The atrium area is a beautiful place to enjoy.

This is not even a hole in the wall. More like a hole in a hole in the wall (to get there, you must go down one shady alley and then down another). However, its a great venue and is an amazing resource for holding pop up events and small to medium gatherings.

Cute little venue. Kind of hard to find since it’s located behind other buildings. Good place for a laid back low key event.

The building is a small space for artists to host shows. There was AC available and the space felt comfortable as long as the doors were shut. There is also a single bathroom. Since the space is so small you cant comfortably fit more than 50 people comfortably, including chairs.
