We were there this past weekend for Thanksgiving. One lady who was working there wasnt even wearing a mask, and we felt very uncomfortable. We are certain never to buy their wines or visit their winery next time we visit Walla Walla.
Really great wine, a beautiful tasting room with gorgeous views. Very knowledgeable staff.
Beautiful property. Our host from Norway was great. Can’t wait to come back
Beautiful winery. Delicious wine. Great price and value. What more could you want? We had such a lovely time sitting on the patio, it was the perfect temperature! Our tasting included 9 wines!! We will be back next time we visit Walla Walla!
What a beautiful place with outstanding wines! This was our last stop and the best stop! Gorgeous patio area and live music set the mood for not only wine tasting but enjoying a full pour the first sommelier that helped us wasn’t too friendly and we were disappointed, however another gal stepped in and said “ let me” and she was fabulous! She let us taste things off the flight menu and was very engaging! Definitely recommend their wines.
They were super busy so the service wasnt great, but very friendly. Five stars because of comfortable seating, couches, fireplace...
Heard this was a pretty decent winery and arrived half an hour before the business closed. We were immediately turned away on one of the biggest weekends of the year as we walked in the door and were told they weren’t serving anymore wine. Very disappointing.
One of the greatest wineries in Walla Walla. You must taste their premier merlot. Wow! The girl staffing is great too!
You have to try the Premier Merlot...simply lovely!!!! Excellent customer service
Primarily reds with a large variety. Just about a red for every pallette. We left with a good sample. Staff was really nice and the outdoor patio was perfect for a May day. I will definitely visit this again on my next trip here.
Excellent wine. The Merlot was outstanding and lived up to its reputation. Host was friendly and informative. Great outdoor atmosphere. Happy to now call us members!
A very beautiful winery with wonderful wines and staff. I recommend taking a pocnic lunch or buying some cheese and crackers there and then sitting on the patio enjoying the wine and the view. They are known for their Merlot wine and it is worth trying! This year we did the blending experience. Big kudos to oir guide Jan, who taught us a lot about wine and gave some very good tips on our blending. Parking is free.
Very rude blonde lady server this Saturday, never offered any wine information, was put out when we asked for water and crackers. Very small pours weve ever experienced so had a hard time deciding how each tasted. Snapped at us a couple times. Fortunately the gal cashing us out had great customer service skills at the end the evening. All 7 of us agreed we would never come back to that winery. We visited several others with amazing service so will probably come back to the area some day.
Northstar is a cut above all other Walla Walla wineries with its devotion to Merlot. Friendly staff, inviting atmosphere, and great wine.
My girlfriend and I came down for the weekend. Great view...great live music. Friendly service. Very spacious and beautiful. 2012 Merlot and Cab was amazing
Great wines, beautiful scenery, wonderful people working there. Probably our fave winery in Walla Walla!
Knowledgeable staff, beautiful scenery, great wine= smart place to spend your day
Nice tasting room with outdoor spaces, but it seemed a little stuffy to me. The wines were nice, the host knew lots about them, and was gracious to us.
Beautiful views and nice facility. The staff were friendly. There was even a small music group there for what seemed to be an event, but it was playing to the whole place. The wine was certainly great too of course!
Great wine and people! Always stop by when were in Walla Walla!
Great winery move it¡
Great wine, great service! Try their reserve merlot.
I was never a fan of Merlot, being a Pinot Noir lover. Then I went on a trip that took me to Glacier National Park. Having just landed in Spokane, a friend and I decided to try out the Walla Walla area and stopped at Northstar Winery. To say that I was impressed with their Merlot might be understating it.I still love Pinots but make a point to order from here online at least once a year.
Friendly and good wine.
Subpar service. Multiple tables around us got frustrated and left in the middle of the tasting. No information about the wine, sever poured and walked away.
Great location and fun blending experience
Good wine
Beautiful tasting room
