This is a picturesque winery highly recommend you go visit you can take an Rv upto the winery but a hair pin turn and the entrance is a bit tricky. Great way to hang out and enjoy some wine

One of the best places to stay, perfect for that family reunion. Everyone has something to do and plenty of room for everyone to their own thing. Swimming, movie theater, pool table, BBQ, ...and very private! We will go back!

Quick stop here on a tour. Beautiful BNB and vineyard. Enjoyed my time during a brief stay.

Stopped by this gem with a colleague after a day of meetings. We’d heard great things about Washington wines and Basel Cellars didn’t disappoint. The tasting room manager, Kevin, was extremely knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming. I can’t say that there was any wine on the line up this day that we didn’t enjoy, and even the white was fantastic. Great reds - all here smooth, fruit forward and bold (oak varied by wine). Check this place out - you won’t be disappointed!

I have been enjoying Basel Cellar red wines since 2009. Matter of fact I have their wines shipped to me in Nebraska. Last Saturday I had friends over, we opened a 2014 Inspire and WOW! it was fantastic. I’m slowly showing my Nebraska friends what a big, bold red wine should taste like.

We love visiting this beautiful chateau at the top of a hill overlooking the estate vineyards with the mountains in the distance. Their staff in the tasting room is very knowledgeable and helpful, but the wine of course is the best part! We’ve never had anything but yummy wine there. Love the Merriment!!!

I have never been to the winery, its self, but their wine is fantastic! The Cab, in particular, is the best I think Ive had. I live in southern Idaho and they unfortunately dont sell Basel Cellars here so I have to have it shipped for special occasions, but its totally worth it. I highly recommend this wine!

We attended the Basel Wine tasting at a special event at Embers by the Lake in Hauser, Idaho. The event was spectacular! I loved that it was a smaller event that gave each diner time to speak to the Vintner, Dirk, and appreciate his approach to each of the wines we tasted. The wines that were paired with each of the fire cooked pizzas were delicious and we were offered ample opportunity to taste each of the wines offered. We went home with several bottles and wonderful memories of this dining experience.

The location/setting of Basel Cellars was a welcome surprise. The grounds were beautiful. The tasting room staff were extremely helpful and cheerful. We received a private tour and were able to sample wine from a barrel that was close to being bottled. I have cellared several Basel red varietals for 4+ years and all have matured quite nicely. A great value!

Wonderful atmosphere! Delightful wine! Friendly and happy staff ready to help you learn more about what they offer. I have yet to taste one I didnt enjoy, and one of 2 wine clubs I desire to be a member of. I know I will always be satisfied with what I receive! Go lift a glass! Prost!

We visit Walla Walla many times a year and we always stop in at Basal Cellars for their amazing wine. Roxy always greets us with a smile and gives us excellent service. So many nice people at Basal Cellars, a great view to sit out and have a glass of wine. Don’t miss this winery.

One of the most beautiful places in Walla Walla. They make some of the best wine in the valley and are perfect for a taste or a stay. You wont be disappointed.

I love this winery! The wine is beautiful and always drinkable, whether you open as soon as you pick it up (its hard to wait sometimes) or you cellar it for a few years. I also love the Woodinville tasting room. The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly and they let my pups sit on the patio. This is one of my favorite places in Woodinville.

Their wine was very good and the hostess went out of her way to make us feel at home. Afterword we sat on their patio and had lunch.Just a great time.Bill from California

An amazing place to stay. The house, setting and pool will make any special occasion memorable and the staff were accommodating with all special requests and being attentive to important details.

$30 for a tasting for two and their reds were not good as they claim. We regretted visiting here though the winery itself and the grounds are beautiful, the wine doesn’t live up to the price.

If I could give endless stars that is what I would do. We just came home from staying 3 nights at Basel Cellars property in Walla Walla and we cannot wait to get back there next year! Where to start? The STAFF was PHENOMENAL! Every single staff member I communicated with could not have been more friendly and accommodating. From Roxy in the tasting room, to the lovely group of girls that clean and take care of the home, to the grounds crew and the amazing Hospitality manager Woody. Basel is definitely on their A game and it is so very appreciated. Now the property!!! WOWZERS it is glorious. Spectacularly clean from the grounds, to the kitchen, beds, floors, pool everything! What a breath of fresh air. I loved that house, it is perfect to vacay with all your people. It could sleep at least 20 people comfortably. Thousand times better than any hotel. The pool was fresh water or something bc I never felt the nastiness of a chlorine pool?! The water slide is super fun and refreshing if you had a little too much wine the night before ;) The bbq area was stellar and set up beautifully for any type of meal youre planning. We had a Costco delivery there when we arrived and did a lasagna dinner the first night, brought the chef from Whitman the second night and BBQd by the pool the third night. The sunsets are gorgeous by the pool. Endless games, floaties everything you need. The basement is like an adults pee wee play house! Everything from a gorgeous board room, to a lovely bar with tvs, pool tables, a poker room, a movie theatre etc. You can bring the misuse in for massage at any time, there is a hot tub in the spa area of the amazing master suite. I could go on and on. Too late maybe. Lastly, my husband was having too much fun and misplaced his phone. 12 of us looked around at what we thought was everywhere for it and gave up after the 3 days... But then Basel called and let us know they found it and shipped it to us without any question or wait time. They handle their business to the damn T.Thank you Basel and Thank you Roxy and Woody you guys rock.

Great atmosphere and great wine!! I rented the main house out in May for a Bachorette weekend! We arent in nour 20s anymore no clubs for us! It was a wonderful time enjoying the swimming pool, the beautiful home with a game room and full bar, not like a hotel room full bar, but a room that is big enough to entertain dozens! A couple of us became rockstars for the weekend, the bar has its own stage! Full movie theater, hot tub and supper cozy beds! Josh was so accommodating giving us tips where to eat, this guy is a foodie and it shows! Told us other great wineries to try as well. We all cant wait to bring out our families for a weekend in the winter!

Basel wineries does it RIGHT! - Adjacent to the tasting room is this breathtaking venue. The home is beyond description! We so appreciated the architectural wonders to the small details. STAFF, cant say enough how welcoming WOODY was from beginning to end! We had a group of 11 and stayed for three nights. We all wished we had booked longer. The place is filled with amenities we enjoyed. It was early for the pool but Woody opened it up and we took advantage of the built in slide for a cool dip. We enjoyed the hot tub for late night and the full set up in the bar downstairs for Karaoke. Downstairs is like its own world, bar, pool table and fully equipped theater room! We made it a goal to use all the dining areas. No small chore as there are 4 plus pool area tables! Woody took us on a private tour and tasting with the winemaker, who I had waved to having coffee, we had no idea that was him! The kitchen is FULLY equipped down to the spices. Everything you need to cook or GRILL. We had The Q Wood-Fired Grill catered one night and they were amazing ! HIGHLY recommend Sandy and Emry. OH MY OH MY this place is beyond your expectations! THANK YOU BASEL cellars for sharing your breathtaking home away from home with us !

Remarkable! We had a wedding for my daugthers at the estate. Beautiful, immaculate, the perfect setting for a wedding. The wedding party of 20 stayed at the estate 3 days - enjoyed the accomodations and Basel Cellars wine. Woody and his staff are amazing, they have customer service figured out. Every issue was solved, everything we needed help with they helped graciously. What a wonderful experience, great wine, beautiful estate, and fabulous staff to work with.

I spent last Sunday out there and had one of the best winery experiences ever. This facility is world class. It was hot and sunny in the afternoon and we were treated to a magnificent thunderstorm at sunset. Brian and Woody were excellent hosts with wine to match. I especially liked the Estate Syrah and the Malbec. Not to be missed on any wine tour of Walla Walla...
