Nice day. Good time. Great place for a family outing.
A beautiful place for a walk, jog or bike. Great vistas. Take a picnic, there are a few covered tables on the loop around Lake Bennington.
Nice place to walk. Lots of memories there. Beautiful view.
Great place to fish. Teenagers swimming and screaming words younger children dont need to hear.
Close to town and very accessible from various places. Mountain bike trails of various difficulties. A great area for walking, biking, horse riding.
Always enjoyed the beauty of the lake and surrounding area, great fishing when stocked and great for kids
This place is amazing for fishing and walking your dogs limit 2 off leash per person . Only negative thing about this park is the type of wildlife that lives in the are and the type of terrain means ticks ticks ticks
Fun place to play in the water
Best place to go for hiking close to Walla Walla. Paved and gravel bike paths on levees, dam, and around lake. Rooks Park located near end of North side levee. Good place to see animals. Ducks, geese, otters and mink (rarely), white pelicans, kingfishers, hawks, egrets, herons, muskrat, songbirds. Beautiful scenery looking towards Vancycle ridge and into the Blue Mountains. Just a great place to recreate.
My granddaughters always love to come hike the partly shadey trails around Bennington lake. At different times of year the water is really high and in winter really low. It is always an interesting place to explore.
Great for sun burns
I’ve walked there a lot. People with dogs need to be aware the the ticks are bad in the Spring and Summers. The Foxtail is bad in the Summer. There are so many invasive weeds with seed pods that stick that Summer and Fall are get really messy. I don’t tales my dogs there at that time. Head to TollgateHowever, Winter and early Sping is GLORIOUS!!
Beautiful area
Great place for the family to recreate
Its beautiful
Another hidden gem of Walla Walla, that everyone takes advantage of..this Park is great for all of Walla Walla. Hikers, joggers, walkers, bird watching, swimming, fishing, canoe and my favorite horseback riding and walking my dogs. Great safe location
Great off leash areas and trails
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Mill Creek Project includes Mill Creek and Bennington Lake providing recreation and flood risk mitigation to the City of Walla Walla and surrounding area.
Awesome place
Best park ever, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers rock!
Try a gentle bike ride up Mill Creek and then take the Meadowlark (Blue) trail around the perimeter of Bennington Lake. Be healthy & feel great. Bring your camera!
Great Hiking and dog walking area. Some of the trails are dirt so if recent rains will be muddy. Lake area beautiful, fishing available. Last Parking area is big enough for RVs.
Love it
A quite nice place to ride a bike or jog. Wear glasses to avoid getting bugs in your eyes.
Beautiful area for a horse ride. The views, wildlife, and company are always 10/10
Nice, relaxing place
Lake is all but non existent at end of the summer. However a great place to hang out with your family, or go on a evening summer hike.
Very nice park with mix of trails. Large lake with boat ramp.
Fishing. Biking. Walking trails. Good day outing spot.
