The owner is very personable, and also makes a great wine. We will definitely be back!

Smaller winery that had this independent vibe. The wines were pretty good, specifically the Merlot. The owner was the guy working the counter for us. Cool laid back guy who loves his wine and was very helpful for us.

Family owned and estate grown with beautiful wines!

My wife and I visited here on April 13, 2019. The proprietor served me for my tasting, and he was very friendly, polite, informative, and we both enjoyed chatting wit him. The tasting room has a pleasant view peaking out into their vineyards, but the best part of all were the wines themselves. Gifford Hirlinger does its craft well. Of the ten wineries I visited that weekend, this was hands down my favorite.

Mike and Melissa have done an excellent job crafting an all-around winery experience. The wines are top notch and getting better with every vintage; the hosts are warm, inviting and knowledgeable; and even the architecture of the winery is unique and well-thought out.I highly recommend this as a stop on any Walla Walla winery tour.

Great setting. Good selection of wines. Has a vertical winery, which is unusual for these parts and gives back to the community.

Could not recommend Gifford-Hirlinger more. The wine makers were friendly and made our experience amazing. Not to leave out their exceptional great wines. The Malbec is the best Washington one Ive ever had. It rivals those from Mendoza, Argentina. They were all amazing. Cant wait to go back.

The winemaker should teach his dad a bit about customer service. He was grumpy and that probably clouded our enjoyment of the wine, which was perfectly adequate, probably worthy of 3 stars

Every wine was outstanding, winemaker Mike was an excellent host.
