I came into town after visiting a stuffy winery. I went in out of curiosity to make a reservation. I wound up tasting very delicious wine and a few chance others that I will be buying. I even brought in my dog and he played fetch for awhile as we enjoyed random country music and snacks. The owner was there drinking with us. He opened a nice $100 bottle I was able to taste and intend to purchase. I cant recommend this place enough.

Great people and great wine. A more personal experience than a lot of wineries in the area.

My boyfriend and I moved to walla walla about two months ago. We encountered unwelcome vibes and an unfriendly atmosphere the few times we went out in this conservative town so we have been discouraged going out. When I heard about El Corazon and that they put a fun and unpretentious way to enjoy wine and an unique atmosphere, we decided to make a planned date out of it.We came when it barely opened on a Saturday. Cathy immediately welcomed us at the front and asked us if we wanted to do a tasting. We just told her we just wanted to just relax and drink a glass or so. So we were invited to sit anywhere. And from the very beginning, Cathy was extremely friendly and welcoming. She let us tasted some wines before we committed to a glass but we ended up committing to a bottle, the 2016 Syrah. Which was a red with a very smooth finish. Cathy was so easy to talk to and shared her experiences in moving around as well. We had a light hearted and a great conversation.Spencer, the owner, asked to joined us at our table to which we said yes (of course). And we had a great time learning more about his establishment and him as a person.Thank you Spencer and Cathy for your warm welcome, positive vibes and creating such an enjoying atmosphere. We had a great time. And I dont ever personally recommend a winery, and I have came from California, but I will recommend El Corazon if anyone were to ask. Great vibes and wonderful wine, there really isnt a reason to not come here. We will come back!

Went to Walla Walla for an anniversary trip and this winery by far was the best we tried! Generous pours for the tasting, friendly staff, more personal experience/unpretentious, and every single wine we tried was incredible! Definitely a must when visiting Walla Walla!

Big pours, friendly staff. They make wine accessible and at a good price. Decent, fun wines.

We visited & let greeter know we were from Seattle & we were turned away. Greeter stated we had to have reservations though there advertisement did not state this. So, if youre non-Hispanic youre received. Experience not good. Not recommended.

Raul has been the assistant winemaker out at Reininger for 18 years, the man knows his stuff! His collaboration with Spencer as co wine makers is the magic that is El Corazon. Not your typical tasting room, they are helping to break down the idea that wine has to be enjoyed in a particular way. Megan is a fantastic tasting Room manager with a wealth of knowledge and a great attitude. The wine is beautiful, a must for anyone who loves a great time and great wine.

Its hard to put into words what makes this place so special. A truly original experience. Fun, sassy, laid back and unpretentious. Fantastic wine in a place with an even better sense of humor. My husband and I joined the wine club because we loved it so much. A must stop in Walla Walla.

What a great winery! I watched Walla Walla go from 16 wineries to over 150 in 20 years. So many of them are trying to make a mark and be seen. Its so uncommon when one is distinct and makes good wine AND has a fun creative spark of life. I have fun every time I visit this place. Theyre original. and I can only say that about three or four wineries in Walla Walla. Try the Pistolero or the Run With Hunted if you want a delicious rich red. Theyve also collaborated with Rotie to make a great Rhone blend. If you have to calculate where you will visit when you go to Walla Walla (and you do - theres so many places!) make sure you stick a pin in El Corazon. Youll love it.

Leave your uptight attitude at the door. This place is irreverent and makes some amazing single varietal wines.
