Talk about a hidden treasure trove of early American history. From the founding fathers, the old west, to the Branch Davidians, this gem of a museum covers a large swath but with some significant pieces in the collection. Local Waco history from the Native Americans, first settlers, Baylor college, as well as many regional stories are told. Plan to spend a day there if you are a detail person. I’ll definitely be back.

Seems like a volunteer staffed Museum. Made an appointment several days in advance and no one showed. Seems they had put it down on the wrong day. The positive is that they went the extra mile and came out take us through. Revising....just finished tour. Destiny our tour guide is knowlegeable and passionate about promoting Waco. Tour was very worthwhile...
