Its an AMAZING place the emotes are really nice and the popcorn is Magnificent Ive been here more than 20 times and I am impressed everytime I go. Its really the best movie theater Ive been to.

Really clean rooms. Seats are comfortable enough, I wish they had electric recliners to lay down in. Food is good on price though. Lots of shows to choose from. The staff is very kind and work fast to help you. Pricing is the best tho. You cant beat $6 for a new release! I definitely recommend this theater to family and friends. Plenty of parking space and a cop is always there so you feel safe on late shows. Go check it out!!!

Decent place but very untidy during rush hours, you can see popcorn lying everywhere around the cashier booth. I’m used to having more space in IMAX theatre. But it is really good to see they at least have an IMAX screen. The sound and image quality is maintained for every movie I’ve seen here. Considering it’s the only decent place to watch movies in Waco, it’s pretty awesome.

If I could rate this 0 stars I would!I understand this is Christmas Day and no one wants to work, I totally do get it.. But this is disgusting.Were here to watch Star Wars tonight, I dont think well be coming back. Burleson AMC seems to be the better drive if this is what we pay for.This post DOESNT include the disgusting men and womens bathrooms.

It was okay at best. Not nearly what Im used to from AMC. Popcorn was cold and stale and the drink machines where mostly out. For 14.00 for a large popcorn and drink youd think itd be better taken care of. Place appeared clean. Didnt use the restroom here so I cant help there. No reclining seats. Very cramped theater. Glad wasnt but maybe 10 people in there. I was able to sit across a couple seats sideways so as not to have my knees touching the seat in front of me. Pretty disappointed with this place. Im a A-List member and Im so used to such better service and theaters. I wont be back to this one.

I love, love, love going to the movies. I didnt like my experience here. We sat way at the top which I love the top seat. But the seats were so close together in the theater that we were in that I couldnt even relax comfortably to watch the movie. By the time the movie was done my legs hurt so bad. And Im only 5 foot 2. As far as the selection for food and drinks goes. They have a great selection.

This place os great to bring your kids for a new movie. But the prices for pop corn drinks ate outrageous. I mean you will spend between $25-60 just for drinks. Popcorn. Candy. Or any snack/food they have..

If I could give it no stars that would be better. Long lines to get in theater. The pick your seat when getting your tickets is ridiculous. Just go find a seat when you get in there. Then another long line at the ticket taker. Much easier to watch movies at home. Guess theaters not looking for ways to correct problems like this. No wonder online movies are making more profit.

The staff were friendly but the movie screen was dark. The seats were small and uncomfortable so were the bathrooms. My arm was touching the toilet paper dispenser while using the toilet thats how cramped it was.

Loved it! We wanted to see the movie on time so we got there a little bit early and the inside of the theater was very clean compared to other places. The staff at the Concession Stand were also great and kept the line short.

I very rarely give reviews but I just couldn’t pass on this experience. This has got to be the worst experience I have had in a theatre. The cashiers across the board were negligent with their customer service and food safety. Every single cashier working never washed their hands. Went from task to task and not once washed their hands. Yes this means even after taking cash ( which carries an enormous amount of germs, etc..) my cashier scratched her scalp, took our order with her chin Resting in the palm of her hand. Then proceeded to grab the popcorn scoop (handle was touching popcorn). Never saw a manager. Condiment station was filthy, the floors had popcorn scattered everywhere.I don’t know who is supposed to be managing/training these kids, but they failed today!! Someone needs to be doing a better job!

Was clean and smelled disinfected, but no one to take tickets or direct to theaters and the bar was closed.

Comfortable seats. Popcorn could be fresher. Service could be better, not too friendly. Area around the popcorn butter could be cleaner and have napkins. Carpet was littered with popcorn. A week before we saw a movie and we were sold the wrong tickets. We were seeing frozen 2 but given tickets to a rated R movie and sat in the wrong theater till we realized the commercials suddenly became inappropriate for our 10 year old. We saw a later viewing time of the movie so that worked out.

Great place to go watch movies

Always have had a good experience here. Seats are much better than Regal off of 84. There IMAX is really great. Best part of the theater. Only complaint is there needs to be more staff working the concession stand. On the opening night for Frozen 2, only 2 out of the 5 registers had employees working. If you want shorter lines, buy the $15 AMC Stubs Premiere so that you can get a special line. Instead of 15 minutes waiting, you could wait 5. My only other complaint is the main hallway is sometimes really dirty, and there needs to be more bathrooms in the whole building.

The Galaxy 16 is a good place to see a movie. That being said, I would suggest a couple of improvements. First, we were in theater 6 for an early afternoon movie, and it was really cold in there, so much so that we had to complain. This isnt the first time weve experienced this at the Galaxy. Secondly, for an afternoon movie, the front ticket office is never used and you buy your tickets at the concession stand. Thats all well and good, but why is it necessary to have to wait behind people who are buying concessions just to get your tickets? It doesnt make sense and often requires an extra long wait. Otherwise the seats were comfortable, the restrooms decent, and the senior ticket prices reasonable.

Great. I like going during the week when it is not as busy. Be sure to put their phone app on your phone. It will save you a tremendous amount of cash. Tuesdays are the best deal but Wednesdays seem to be the least busy. Staff is always pleasant. Theater is comfortable. Enjoy!

Its the best so far in Waco. Renovations have simplified the facade and decor but they didnt care to mark the entrance more clearly since the original Galaxy days. Also if you dont know the parking lot, you can get caught in the maze. This was THE place to go to but now? I guess..... better than Hollywood/Regal.

Great place with clean theaters. The theater we were in for the first and only movie weve seen here so far didnt have the recliners were used to from Phoenix, but it was, at least, select your own seats. The first bucket of popcorn we had was mostly from the bottom of the popper and was just tiny little pieces and not really edible, as such, but they happily took care of it before the previews were over and I think it was probably just because there were so many people in line at the time ordering. You cant help that, I suppose.

Understand times have changed but the bathroom was so bad I had tried to hold my breath. The hand dryers barely blew. One facet was missing it’s handle and there was only one other. The plug by the door was missing a face plate. Bet that’s code. Just a poor conditioned movie experience. Bought a number one plus an extra large drink. The guy said, how bout the upgraded #1 like it was something great. Cost the same either way. Not a fan considering this is a college town.

Me and my wife love to come here. Service is fast and friendly and professional. Keep up the great work guys be back very soon!

Great atmosphere and concessions. Got to pick out own seats on ticket. We are from out of town and this place had way more food and drink options. Even served beer and wine which was nice. I had 1 glass while we watched our movie.

The picture & sound were fine, but the theater is in disrepair. Theaters are not cleaned well. Trash is piled up in garbage bins. The staff is a real mix - some are helpful, others are really discourteous. There seemed to be insufficient staffing, especially in concessions & cleanup, which is unacceptable given that this is the Christmas season & one knows there will be large crowds. None of this is helped by the fact that patrons in Waco seem not to clean up after themselves as well as patrons in other cities.

This theater is so outdated that, it probably should be torn down and rebuilt from the ground up because, as I was leaving the theater, I noticed a very large cockroach roaming on the carpet...as if it was the hired security guard.A Waco Police Officer noticed it as well and, she informed me that the manager of the theater was going to have the theater exterminated the following day! Well, I couldnt wait for tomorrow...so I stepped on it, and killed it!

My husband and i both senior citizens went to see Lion King last week and we were so pleased to see the friendly help and the place was so clean.!! Hubby went in to bathroom and came out said that was the cleanest bathroom!! The seats were comfty and enjoyed our popcorn and sodas!! We will be coming back!! A big thank you to your crew!!

Seats aren’t as well maintained as they ought to be, but there are FAR better food options here than down the street. If you just want a movie, go to Regal. If you need a snack too, AMC is your spot. Pretzel bites are highly recommended.

Place is nice and accommodating. Brought a toddler with us and had a good experience. The food and drinks (bar) options are nice but a little pricey. It was nice seeing security/police walking around because that gives some sense of safety. Bathrooms were clean as well. Place is very easy to see and access from the highway. There is a really big parking lot with plenty of handicap parking spots. Definitely try this pace out, not bad at all.

This past weekend went to see The Gentlemen. Ticket line went okay. The concession line was a nightmare. Too long.... I decided to go in and watch my movie and come back to concession 20 minutes later. Still the same long line. I decided at that point just stay in line. Lost 20 minutes of movie.The Gentleman is a movie that if you miss five minutes of this movie....you are lost to what is going on with the plot.

The employees are very courteous but I did not like having to stand in a long line behind many people who wanted to buy tickets and refreshments and all that I wanted to do was to purchase tickets.

We have been going to this theater for years, back when it was Galaxy. We went to see avengers on Sunday, and it was the worst movie experience we have ever had. when we walked in the main lobby was just a mess, there was popcorn, soda, and trash all over the floors, and I mean everywhere. We went in to the theater and it appeared fairly clean, but to be honest the lights were off. about midway through the movie I had to go to the restroom, my wife decided she would as well, and that was it. I went to the closest bathroom as soon as I walked in I seen it had urine all over the floor, and urinals, so I went to the stall, and there was poop all over the toilet seat, not just in the toilet, but on it. I almost puked. I left the restroom and went to another, the main one by the exit, it was almost the same condition, urine all over the floors by the urinals, so I went into a stall, it had not been flushed, had a mess in it, so I went to the next stall had urine all over the lid, I used my foot lifted the lid used it, flushed and met my wife outside. I told her this was just absolutely disgusting, we decided to write the whole trip as a loss and just walked out the door and returned home. What a shame, It used to be so much better, we wont be back.

If I could leave 0 stars I would because my experience at this location has been awful. I have returned to this movie theater 3 times in an attempt to watch a film and I have been unsuccessful every time due to the fact that the staff is young and don’t seem to care about anything. Another problem is the staff directed me to the wrong theater and then when I realized it was the wrong film they informed me that I had bought tickets to a movie that was showing in a theater that wasn’t operational. I promise you if you come to this theater looking for a good night you will be disappointed.

It was packed due to us going on the weekend around lunch time but the lines were loving at a good pace.

Well seats are comfy. But F for cleanliness. Place was so filthy popcorn and trash all over the floors from the entrances to the theaters. Only clean floors were in the viewing areas.

Theater itself was fairly nice. Seating was comfortable and volume was right. Service was lacking just a bit. Fairly long waits to get the food orders, and there seemed to be a lot of confusion. Some of the menu items werent even available or ready, on a weekend. Other than that, good experience.

This theater is fine. The floor was covered in popcorn and could use better attention from the staff. The screen and sound is good.

Great affordable place for family night out. It was cool going inside the IMAX amc, we actually had assigned seats and the screen was huge!

My family has been coming here since I was a small child. Weve had countless parties in the party rooms, seen movies on opening night, and just had the best time. Sadly, this last visit, we didnt get to see the movie we wanted due to technical difficulties, but we were refunded the money we had paid. It was very gracious of them to offer to let us see another movie, if someone wanted to, but we just decided to get the refund and return home. We will probably always come here for movies. Always the best experience and so many memories.

This movie theater is always trashed. Please clean the place up. Your staff is not friendly and they hate their jobs. You can tell by the expression in their faces. Clean this place up and hire some people that want to work.

Place looked nice I guess but has a weird feel to it. It wasnt dirty or anything and the other movie goers didnt speak or disrupt the movie, the place just had a weird feel, I couldnt enjoy myself there and couldnt wait for the movie to end so I could leave.

Not impressed. Theater was old and not well maintained. I understand many people go to the movies, but the restrooms were horrible and general cleanliness lacking.

Need a remodel... I hate the stupid prefered line theyre doing now. Its not doing anything but making lines worse.Management is nice & willing to help in emergencies.

I was dissapointed with having th right staff u have to b 21years to open n poor th margaritas but th minor can open n serve beer i was feeling left out cuz i dont like beer.

The employees had NO IDEA what to do with the A-List member line at the concession stand. I waited in line for 15 minutes while the employees called people from the regular line. I got served only after I walked up to an employee and reminded them that there were people in the A-List line. The other AMC locations are AMAZING; this location sucks!

Like most theaters today everything is overpriced. I like to go to the movies in the off hours, early afternoons. Last two times AMC only had one person working the refreshment stand *where you also had to go to get your ticket) the wait in line was over 20 minutes. Stale popcorn.

The best theater in town is even better as an AMC. The theaters are clean and comfortable, there is a good variety of concessions, and assigned seating is a huge plus. Theres also an IMAX theater and some pretty sweet AMC rewards and subscription programs. Drive right past the other place and go on to AMC. Its worth it.

Simply a nice place to go watch movies... However it can get rowdy during peak hours. As well as Friday and Saturday and Sunday. Obviously LOL.

I go to this theater at least twice a month over the past 8 years. Over the past couple months I have noticed the theater has gone down hill now that there is not enough room in the building for the amount of people coming in - there were 4 long lines to the food counter and it had took me 30 minutes just to get some popcorn which made me late for my movie (can’t watch a movie without popcorn and snacks!). With the fountains outside from the food counter people were clashing and crowded. All which I try to ignore to enjoy a good film. BUT TONIGHT, I had experienced the worst service. The theater was absolutely TRASHED. Literally mean popcorn EVERYWHERE on the ground, cup and trash had just been thrown on the floor which was very visible as soon as you walked through the front door. Went to the bathroom to discover it almost teepeed in toilet paper - DIRTY AND GROSS. Almost every toilet was off from the bottom seal. Absolute MESS. Looked like janitors had been off for a week!

I never leave reviews....ever. I cant even believe what this theater has turned into. Ive lived in Waco for 13 years now and have always gone to AMC Galaxy to see movies. It was always the nicest theater. I think I went for the last time ever on Saturday. The last couple of trips I noticed the bathrooms were disgusting and trash was overflowing, but I assumed it was a busy weekend. This last weekend there were no lines and it was still absolutely disgusting. The bathrooms have urine all over the floor. I also now have to pick my seats before entering. What a joke. I picked a row that had no one on it, only to find that a couple decided to purchase tickets directly next to me. I was so uncomfortable the entire time. Whats the point of going to switch seats outside at the ticket booth, if this could just end up happening again? Im done. Ill wait for the newer theater to be built by Central Texas Marketplace.

Was the most unpleasant experience I have every had. When did they go to assigned seating. Purchased seats and when we got in the theater to find our seats someone was in them and when we asked them to move they wouldnt so ask an employee to help they would not help so sat in other seats and had issues with them. Employees were very rude and unhelpful, even had one of my kids very upset to where he didnt even wanna stay to see the movie. When we went to ask for a refund so we were not going to see the movie they argued with me about a refund. Sont think I will ever go back to this theater ever again. I it could have given it no starts I would.

I really dont enjoy going to this theater, but its better than the other one in Waco to me. It is always dirty and uncomfortable. Most AMC locations are way more updated and modern. This theater also doesnt offer a lot of the promotions or events that other AMC locations do. Overall, this theater is what we have in Waco, but its not much.

The movie was awesome The Lion King. The theater personnel was great. The theater number 14 has something wrong with the air it was hot in there. My husband and I will go back....

Very good theater, it was clean, the audio and video quality in the theater was great, the seats were very comfy and the food was on point.

This is a great movie theater. The seats are nice and the prices are good, especially if you are a student. The popcorn is average, I mean its popcorn. I dont know what youre really expecting. Ive come here 40+ times and have never had an issue.

The counter help was very poor

Paid about $6.00 for a mid-afternoon Sunday showing of Boy Erased. Apparently its either an unpopular movie, a weird time to see a film, or maybe its just me, but I was the only person here for this showing.Seats were clean, comfortable and reclined a bit. Sound quality of the film was just at the right volume. Soft drink dispensers like those at Burger King allow patrons to choose amount of ice and refill beverage with how much beverage they wish. Great idea, Great value pricing.My only suggestion is to offer more seating for customers waiting until their movie time.Found just one bench (for maybe 3 adults) near lobby restrooms.My overall rating: 9 out of 10 boxes of popcorn.

Best place to watch movies

Traveling from out of state and decided to go to the late showing of the new Annabelle movie. Upon arriving noticed the lobby and hallways were littered with popcorn everywhere, place looked terrible, but chalked it up to a long Friday night rush. Cant say much about the cleanliness of the restrooms as we werent there long enough to need to use them. We managed to get to our seats and catch the last 5-7 minutes of previews before the movie started. But the main reason for the poor review (aside from the filthy theater and ripped seats that were uncomfortable) we left 5 minutes into the movie because of the other people in the theater. I have never been to a movie where other viewers were SO RUDE. Actual adults, behaving like children with no courtesy for the ppl around them. Laughing, talking, taking pictures with the flash on (the movie had already started). Not at all trying to be discreet, so loud that we couldnt even hear the movie. One person was actually watching a video on their phone, volume all the way up. We quickly decided to leave because we wouldve flipped out on these jerks had we stayed a minute longer. Anyway, we complained, no refunds.

Not the best place. When you spend $50 for tickets, and another $50 at the concession you expect it to be a nice place. It was dirty, seats were so uncomfortable, bathrooms were filthy, nobody was helpful. Except the little older lady at the window, she was a delight! Or else Id give 0 stars

Probably wont go back if I can help it. Guys selling tickets sort of had an attitude. Have to pick a seat and was told you had to sit there even if there were few people and couldnt change seats. Seats were uncomfortable. On the plus side theater was clean. Probably wont be back.

Went to the movies but was utterly disappointed that the legendary 1$ hot dogs no longer existed. Still watched the movie but hot dogless.

My only thing I dislike, chairs are so uncomfortable in regular theaters, but IMAX seating is so much better though every time I go the sound is always set so loud that my ears pop and ring. Seems like you really cant win.

We havent been to a movie at the theatre in q long time so we decided to take our 3 year old son to see Toy Story 4. It was his first time at the movies. We used to frequent the movies and quit going to the theatre in Waco because it was outdated and dirty so we just drove to Austin or the metroplex to see a show at one of the newer theatres. I was imperessed by the job they did remodeling and adding the new refreshment options. great job my son loved the experience and now that he has his first movie under his belt we will be going more often.

Normally this theater is great but today was a different story. My mom (55) and myself (23) went to see Mary Poppins Returns. When the previews started, the first one was for a movie called Gloria Bell which I thought was a bit too mature for the group of 3-8 year olds sitting in front of us. The second was for a film called The Aftermath, definitely too mature for this group, and not appropriate to be played before this film. 3rd was for the film Us, a horror film. My mom got up to go speak to the staff about this while the mother in front of me was loudly instructing the group of young kids to cover their eyes and ears. After this, in the break, moms around the theater were shushing their frightened children saying its not real it was all pretend its okay. Fourth came an ad for Escape Room. About half way through the screen turned off, my mom and another woman returned. We were then informed by an employee that they had ACCIDENTALLY put Mary Queen of Scots on instead of Mary Poppins Returns. Mary Queen of Scots is rated R. I am very glad that the situation was fixed before the kids saw that movie as well as those previews. They did end up getting the movie put on correctly with only a simple sorry wrong movie. I feel this was not really good enough recompense for the issue. I am giving this review so you know IF YOU GO SEE MARY POPPINS AND THE PREVIEWS SEEM WRONG, THEY ARE. GO SAY SOMETHING.

Comfortable seats thats recline, mostly clean theater. Always has a good large range of movies showing with multiple times available to choose from. Average prices compaired to other theaters which is usually cheap tickets with sky high popcorn and drink prices.

The AMC is a great theater. Friendly staff and super easy to get your tickets and go. The only minor nitpick I have isnt with the theater itself, but rather the mouth breathing ICP fans that crawled out from under a rock to attend the showings. I never in my life have sat next to an awake person with sleep apnea.

With this being an AMC these seats need to be upgraded...I am from DFW and when I bought my ti ket thought I was getting the same red plush luxury seat that recline with a touch of a button but instead these seats had my back n knees hurting because the seat is hard to recline in...Waco deserves what ever other AMC has get with the program. The curly fries where good, popcorn good and the areas where cleaned very often.

The movie experience was nice. But the cleaning staff was trying to kick viewers out of the theater before the movie was over. Thought they were rude and I paid money to see the movie I should be able get full experience and leave when all the credits are done. I will more than likely only go back here if I dont feel like driving to my favorite theater in corsicana.

In more than 50 years, I have never written a negative review, but this place was horrible! This is the filthiest public venue I have ever seen! Overflowing trash was piled all around MOST of the cans, not just one. There were literally piles of popcorn throughout the lobby, the bathrooms were disgustingly filthy, and the hallways were lined with trails of popcorn and garbage. Five years ago, this was a nice place but not any more.

This place changed over the year and so much nicer

The rooms are well kept and the condition is always clean. No issues when it comes to service there or any of the electronics involved. The main problem would be the price is on the high end of things and going there often is not a very suitable option. With that being said, for those special movies this theater works just fine.

Love the place but the older lady at the ticket booth was rude and blunt and ran our tickets wrong, using my daughter gift card for my ticket too even though I gave her my debit card. Not sure why she thought I gave my debit card. Then she was super rude about it.

Got there and system was down, couldnt buy tickets inside or outside. We got to our movie super late with no discounts.
