My nephew had his first game this past Sunday. We had a great experience. Everyone at the front desk was very helpful and respectful. They did a great job with getting us checked in fast. Overall, the facility is amazing and Im glad we decided to bring my nephew to play in this league. Although we didnt win Sunday, the kids had an amazing time. There has been quite a few management changes lately and many changes to the weekly leagues because of it. But the staff at VBFH seem to be adjusting and changing effectively with all the changes in Covid and business operations.

A great multi-sport venue. Indoors and out. Volleyball, soccer and so much more. Leagues and tourneys are extremely organized and well run. All sorts of camps and clinics.

Kids have done volleyball, soccer and birthday parties here. Always a great experience.

Love the gym and the staff is always helpful. GO SUNS!

Terrible! They only permitted players and coaches to enter. We were required to let our six yearold to go to the field and practice without us or any family member!

I feel bad for the fieldhouse ....at these weird covid times they are trying hard to let athletes play but with all these restrictions its hard to get to watch any games....they are doing their due diligence though

Fun establishment has absolutely everything you need. Great opportunities for internships and volunteering.While the employees I worked with were great; some partners in game management/concessions/custodial were butt hurt and gossipy. Great experience and learned a lot of lessons about people at this facility. Clean and very professional when it came to the employed staff.

The only time I have been here for a party was a great experience. I would love to book my sons 8th birthday here, but I can not get in touch with ANYONE!! I have called and left messages every day this week and no one has reached out to me. I am very close to just taking my money elsewhere. Sucks because my son really wants to have his party here.

Went to a Field Hockey tournament, well organized, and well offiated.

Great atmosphere, tons of sports for kids of any age (3+ mostly, but even some sports for toddlers and parents!) and even a play place for the little ones to run, slide, climb, crawl, and play soccer in a mini, enclosed field! (Unlimited play for the day for $3 per child!) makes this the ideal spot for families. The staff is helpful and friendly, the indoor and outdoor areas are well lit and clean. They even have multiple spaces for parties. Love this place!!

I’ve been playing volleyball at the fieldhouse on Wednesdays for roughly two years now.I love the large space and volleyball areas. I also love the referees who manage the matches. It’s a bit more expensive than other leagues but you get what you pay for.It’s busy and crowded most nights but that adds to the fun.My only issue is the lack of any down time between seasons and lack of planning around holidays.

This was my first time going to the Fieldhouse to watch some hoops. I was impressed with the facility and all it had to over. Who knew? Basketball, indoor training area and a sports bar. I will being back down there to watch some more games. I may try to get out there myself to see if I still got it.

This place is huge! Its crazy how many things they have going on here. Enjoyed the fact I could get beer while watching my nephews play.

The Virginia Beach Field House is an excellent facility! You can tell the staff goes out of their way to make it a great experience for everyone who comes in the door. Access to a trainer is also a major bonus.

We were there for a childrens birthday party. The staff are friendly and super helpful. The children really enjoyed themselves. Most childrens parties parents are on the side lines watching, so its nice when adequate sitting is available. There was a fair number of seats, but its inexpensive and uncomfortable . The food was pretty good, we had pizza and lemonade. Its a great facility and offers a lot. I would definitely go again.

Had a birthday party for our son 3 weeks agoService and food both awful!! Spoke to management that promised the general manager woul call on Monday to discuss. That was 3 mondays ago and still no call!! Imagine birthday party where you pay $100s of dollars running out of plates and napkins for your guest. Not to mention a vegetable tray they give you with carrots they thawed in the microwave!!

Good venue to watch volleyball. Seating is a little lacking considering the size. Everyone is probably already used to carrying their own chairs with them anyways.

Love this sports facility. Well-maintained and has all the necessary equipment. An outstanding place to conduct indoor competitions.

Multiple fields for soccer, basketball, field hockey, volleyball, etc...and plenty seats for viewing. What I really enjoy about the Fieldhouse is that you are able to rent the courts or fields when games are not scheduled for a minimum fee to get in practice away from the weather.

Went here for a wrestling tournament. The venue is adequately sized and the mats are glassed in, meaning parents and spectators are mostly sitting out in the bleachers. The parking is vast and free.

Its a great place for the person playing or people watching. Great beer choices, eating and atmosphere! The fields are top notch and really well kept. My ONLY downside is the bathrooms are ALWAYS gross. Kind of disappointing.

Ok..Down to earth.

Went for a basketball tournament. My first time here. The place was bustling with so many people playing basketball and soccer. The set up is quite unique for an indoor facility. One has the ability to simultaneously watch several games. I was impressed with the lounging area that housed several large TVs and was adjacent to the spacious snack area with a good amount of tables. Restrooms were very large. It was worth the two hour drive.

If I win the lottery, Id buy this place. I love it that much!

I really like this place. It is kept really niceI think what I like the most is seeing kids work hard in any sport they participate in there. Staff is so helpful and responsive. I reached out to Laquan Baily and he went above and beyond to assist me.

They take great care if my granddaughter in their after school program.

Recently my wife planned my surprise birthday party at the Fieldhouse and we had a great time. The staff was very attentive and went above and beyond to make our party great. The adults had a great time playing flag football and one of our party host helped referee for us. We also had a lot of little kids in our party and be other party how was very attentive to the kids and kept them entertained while the adults played flag football. She did a great job with the kids and it gave the moms time to relax and enjoy the game also.The wings were also really tasty. Overall it was a great experience and would totally do it again.

My child thoroughly enjoyed the summer camp program. Was also impressed with onsite personal trainers who took him through a rigorous concussion protocol when he hit his head pretty hard playing soccer. Facilities are clean and employees are friendly.

Facility is beautiful. Kids soccer staff are nice but they have very low energy. Its almost like they dont want to be there. I dofnt sign my kids up because of it.

I play volleyball here quite often and I could say that this a very good complex to go to. Hosting a large scale sports event? You can rent out the whole venue . The food court is also enjoyable with all the staff being pleasant as well.

Even under new management and increased league fees, this place still can’t figure it out. Sub-par refs, terrible registration process, mediocre quality food. Not worth your time.

Apparently Schedules don’t apply to this place, a madden sponsored with a high cost to just even get the kids to play, got kicked out due to Soccer taking priority. Blatant ignorance for schedules and families times. Hopefully they get it together. Children play times getting moved and changed constantly on a Sunday before a schools night was highly disappointing and very very upsetting.

I remember when they first built the place, everyone was excited! Ive been going to VBFH since I was a kid and now my kid goes here. Great atmosphere. Always has something going on as far as events go but always clean. Soccer is our niche and the indoor turf was always kept up nicely. Staff is always warm and inviting and ready to help! I love how they have so many options in sports for the little ones. Provides an outlet for the kids and teaches good teamworking skills early. Also, if an event makes you miss a day they always make it up. Great investment for families and our community.

Registration a mess- registered, paid online, show up, coach is a jerk(no fault of facility), however facility was letting other minors pay that day/ bumping paid registrants off.Then we finally got a team together & front desk people, though friendly charged us different prices for practice court cost. We got refunds, but they’re making major bank there & customer service could be better.A lot of bad sportsmanship by players & coaches which in their rules is a no no. Refs should help set better examples by enforcing fair behavior to ALL.Also when people register it would be helpfulUpfront to be told that to practice there is a fee.With Rec Center sports, you pay one fee & practices are part of that.And lastly we had to ask for shirts & got some resistance at first. We were relieved that we didn’t have to ask for even more $$ from the parents as w/ practice court time at either $45 or $35 time times 6 is between $210-$270on top of registration fee.The bathrooms are typically out of soap in the women’s, so I just take my hand sanitizer.The facility is overall clean & my son has enjoyed playing basketball there for the most part.If we register again, we’ll at least know what we’re getting into.

My daughter played in Field House volleyball adult and youth leagues. My son coaches a team in the youth basketball league. A great athletic venue. Many opportunities to play team sports. EliteFit training provides excellent sports training. Food is good. Good atmosphere.

The bathrooms were dirty, the food area tables were very dirty there was food all over the floor near the TV area. The time was around 7pm Saturday night January 11th, 2020.

Ive been visiting this place on Friday nights for the past two years. Husband participates in a year round league. I really like it, for kids especially. Not sure if youd just drop your kids off unsupervised but its a great place to get involved in a sport. The wings, fries, and funnel cake pieces are amazing. The food is surprisingly really good all together just pricey. There is a nice lounge with several tvs. Has become a ritualistic place for me and other ladies with husbands/sons on the team. Only wish the facilities were nicer.

A great place for enjoying sports. Everyone look to be having fun. Appears to be a safe place for children. The sports complex is huge so more parking would be nice. I cant wait to go back.

Large expansive soccer and volleyball venue. Restrooms unkept ..no toilet paper in my stall, nor in the ladys next to me. NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR DRINK. Missed some of my childs game. Took 23 minutes to get a COFFEE? Lines were way long. They need a better system and have a separate checkout line for orders that do not require cooking. Ie... chips and a soda..coffee, water, etc. If you arent allowing people to bring their own food/drinks then hire more people in the cafeteria and/or make some changes.

Super fun spot! Great for birthdays too! Just avoid the food area, took 45 minutes to get wings today. Slow, understaffed and unorganized are the only words to describe this. Better preparation and more workers would make it more efficient. This is obviously run by someone with no restaurant experience whatsoever.

Participated in Glow Crazy Run there. It was perfect venue for the event and staff was great.

Its a very fun place.

Management is terrible, recently increased fees, no monthly payment options, only $10 per visit which is outrageous. My group will not be returning until management figures out how to run it efficiently, which it has been unable to do.

If you sign your kid up for basketball, beware of the refs they don’t call anything. If you don’t want your kid to have a bloody nose or busted tooth I prefer to not sign up for this league.

Fun for kids if your are short on time, but overall its kinda over price. However, it has a nice faculty

Played Pickleball here. Intermediate and advanced players, six inside courts, not much wait time. Lighting inside needs improvement, play time over four hours on MLK Federal Holiday.
