Movie theater just opened back up and it was great I loved it, I ordered my tickets online, social distancing was in full affect I will be going back

The picture was clear. The seats were comfortable. I like how the arm rests go up with cushions to make the seat wider. The sound was great.

Terrible. We showed up 15 minutes before movie to get popcorn and drink, for starters the popcorn was burnt and very hard to enjoy [I kept gagging] and secondly we were in the auditorium past the start of the movie and it didnt play until after. Thirdly, unbelievable amount of commercials my movie didnt even start at the time it was supposed to.

I recently went here with a group of friends to see Frozen 2. When you first walk in theres a ticket kiosk, but dont use it its out of order . Keep walking til you get to the concession stand. There you can buy food and drinks as well as your ticket. They offer student and senior discount, so make sure to bring student ID for students and regular ID for seniors. The food and drinks are expensive. You might as well bring your own drink and food. The employees are pretty chill and let us all in under student discount even though only one of us had it. They also let us in with our bags. The theater itself is a good size and the seats are comfortable. I recommend sitting in the back because people usually arent up there and you can see and hear everything clearly. The reason I give 4 stars is because of the ridiculous amount of commercials as well as food price. I may come here again, for a chill movie experience apart from home.

Always get excellent service at this theater! Staff are nice, welcoming, and helpful. Theaters are always clean. Generally come early morning or late night to avoid the crowds. Favorite theater to watch movies in Virginia Beach

I have always loved this theater but was so disappointed today. Had to wait 20 minutes in concessions line because that was the only way to buy tickets. Couldnt use the kiosk because I had a gift card. They had no one selling tickets in the booth...really dumb on a day when school was closed.

I love senior discount. As well as being a member of Regal!!Theaters are clean, easy access for my wheelchair or walker, which ever I need when we go. Movie prices seem high everywhere, but the discount means I get to see more movies. My hubby and I love good movies!!The people are nice and friendly!!

Good as far as the theater going experience goes. Strange that you have to get your tickets at the concession stand. The worker at the register was having problems running my card. Then ticket wouldnt print out, he just told me what auditorium to go to. Hopefully unscrupulous folks dont advantage of situations like that one.

Nicely redone. Havent been here in years. The getting tickets at the concession area is annoying but clean and friendly. It would be FANTASTIC if those comfy chairs had a foot prop.

I used to love this theater, BUT they closed the tickets sales and now you have to buy tickets at the concession stand. We arrived a half an hour early and were still in line behind 5 people when our movie started. Not going to this theater again breaks my heart, but Ill be going elsewhere.

This was crazy. Who thought of the idea to get tickets at concession stand. I stood in line longer than if I was getting snacks. I know, make change for improvement. But get real. At least put another kios in lobby.

We didnt end up seeing anything there because the online tickets we bought were for a different theater but they were very nice about it and helped us figure out our mix up.

Great place and nice employees

When we went, the ticket windows were closed. At 7 p.m. both windows closed. There is only 1 self serve kiosk and people were lined up all the way across the entry way blocking the doors. Chaos.We had free promotional tickets, the kiosk does not accept those. So after standing in that line for nearly 20 minutes we had to stand in the ridiculously long and slow concessions line to get our tickets redeemed. Another 25 minutes. We had no intention of buying concessions but were forced into that line anyway. Missed 10 minutes of the movie and received not even a sorry from the pathetic staff.Lost my patronage.

The temperature in the theater was too cold. Sound and picture quality was as good as ever, but I noticed ticket closed and now seating signs with Regal emblems instead on movie names seem like ways to save labor. Makes me think about services.

The theater was clean, personnel pleasant. We went to a Saturday morning showing and there was not many people around. Cost of concession was high as expected, but one knows this when they go. I was bummed by all the commercials and preview and etc . Seem to be way too many. Previews and the like were still running 22 .minutes after showtime . Since I have been in the theater with the lounge chairs, where you get comfy and kick back, sitting in the stadium seating was a bit cramped. I did like the fact that the arm rest could be pulled up and out of the way.

Is this my favorite theater that have so many good movies for you to watch. The staff is very friendly they always have a smile other face the restrooms are nice and clean the foods not that bad

Was there Sat., Jan. 18. Could not buy tickets at ticket booth but had to stand in painfully slow concessions line to purchase ticket. 4 people in front of me; took 10 x as long to get ticket as it would have if tickets were available at ticket booth. Then I turned around and the line behind me went to back of lobby. Those people would probably miss the start of their movies by the time they got their tickets. Whoever thought of this new policy should have his head examined and be fired. The lobby was full of rightfully irate people. Not the smartest way to inspire customer loyalty.

Its been great,. I love comes to enjoy with the Family. Special today we had great service. Jess its amazing manager, Marc scanned our tickets, he is great employee... Suggest for Marc needs training every position, can be great lead. I like his mood. Thanks Regal Columbus employees. Keep up!

This is the movie theater that you would like to go to if you just want to relax on a day off or just get away form the sometimes crazy kids atmosphere at other theaters in the area. This is coming from a father of three also, so dont try it! lol!

I do not like the ticket sales at the food counter, longer lines, also the food prices are was over priced, I usually try to carry my own . Sometimes the theaters are not clean, also the handicapped seats are being used by people who are not considered handicapped

Top customer service, for a theater. Im not used to places that deal in this volume, it was nice to have multiple cashiers in the drinks and snacks area, and they had a lot of food options, though they are as over-priced as one would expect from a theater. It was also clean and nice, no gum and grease ground into the carpet like the one back home. Nothing beats a movie with a bucket of greasy popcorn, tell you what, and this stuff was fresh and fake-buttery. They had a lot of show-times available, so even with a medium sized youth group we were able to find something for everyone.

This is a nice theater on the boulevard. A little under updated but still a functional theater. Having checked the concession stand it looked clean and the same is for the bathrooms. Our movie was on time and without error. Not a bad regal. Dont let the outside scare you off. Theaters have handicap access.

This is The Best Regal in the area. Its always clean & neat inside & out. The staff is very courteous ( & remember you if your a frequent patron). As with any theater, the concessions are pricey..but can you resist buttered movie popcorn? Become a Regal member for discounts, movie alerts & other perks.

Had to purchase tickets at concession stand, which added a delay. This could be why the movie began 30 minutes late. Other than that, the theater was clean and seats were comfortable.

I had fun and with the staff being quick and nice. Affordable and up to date which is perfect. The sound feels like you are right there. Its cold but thats to be expected of a movie theater. Would come again just bring a jacket or something.

The floors were so disgusting in front of the concession stand. You can clearly see where someones soda spilled and dried and it was still there when we got out of the movies. The food took extremely long to get that our movies had started. My 3 older kids saw Maleficent and my husband, twins, and I saw the Addams Family. The staff was friendly enough but they need to be quicker at food prep and cleaning.

Hated having to go to the concession stand for tickets. They didn’t even show the movies or times on the rolling menu and didn’t have the movie showing at the specific theater.May keep me from going out to the movies and seriously thinking more about Netflix and other entertainment options.

Awful actually. The ONE ticket line was a U turn around the lobby. Attempted the kiosk and was able to pay but no tix. Has to get back in the U turn line to get printed tix. Again, ONE concession line backed up. Not a good movie experience. However, the flick was good. But if youre going to this theater, add some extra time to the wait to get in.

The place was clean, they had good food with some free refills, and the place looked nice and was a pretty big space.

Conveniently located within walking distance from my home. Clean atmosphere. The ONLY reason I didnt give 5 stars is because, well, it needs to upgrade. So many theatres are available at other establishments; reclining/soft seating, wait staff during the movie, etc. Or maybe they will remain a historical monument to remind us of simpler times.

I love this theater!! Its always clean. The staff is very friendly and the food options are pretty good. Just wish it wasnt so expensive . Ill be back in a week

Basic movie theatre. Regular seats. Good sound. Snack bar and a small arcade. Popcorn was good.

Too many previews made the movie less entertaining because it took too long to start enjoying the movie. When the time of the movie is posted and it doesnt start for another 30 minutes makes me want to leave. Much improvement need to be done. Dont know if I want to go back to Regal.

Good theater. Plenty of parking, good movie selection, and I like that they have actual meals rather than just popcorn. Only reason its not 5-stars is it was really dirty.

Quiet and clean. The food is really really good.

Nice place just enter the parking lot slowly and at an angle. Its a steep rise and youll scrape your bottom if you go too fast.

The concession stands were selling the tickets, so anybody that wanted a lot of food was ahead of you for 20 minutes before you can get your ticket. Totally sucks, thanks Regal for the down grade of fun

For the most expensive theaters in town has some of the least state of the art experience. The decor carpets and seats feel and looked like the havent had work since the 70s or 80s.

Love the summer express movies, though I wish it was all g rated movies. Decent theater, friendly staff.

Nothing I can say a whole lot oh, its a movie theater. Its a pleasant place with Pleasant employees and the price is reasonable. Also, Ive never had a bad experience there with the food or the show!

Great theatres. Good customer service. No wait in lines depending on what time your movie is. Prices are average for theatre concessions.

Comfortable chairs. Distraction free. At our showing there was a problem with the coming attractions reel, so it wasnt played, which is fine. Only negative is the cost of snacks. $5.00 for a bottle of water? I know, its a choice, but how about a realistic mark up?

Great place for date night saturday dinner and a movie is still affordable I use their club card and that helps out a lot with the movie and those super priced concessions. It has enough theaters to show all the new movies so check the times eat and have fun watching a movie.

This is an old theater that needs to be renovated or at least offer tickets at a lower price. If Ill be paying the same price, Id choose a theater with reclining leather seats. This theater still has cloth seats that feel a bit dingy. Even walking in, you feel like youve entered a time warp cause the neon lights are everywhere.

The lines for ticketing and concessions moved very fast with a considerably large crowd. The sound and temperature in the screening room was perfect. The restrooms were spotless and smelled really nice.

It was clean, the restroom was very clean. The staff was helpful. The cleanliness goes a long way for me.

We love Regal Columbus! It is nice and clean and the staff are very friendly. We typically choose Columbus because it is not at a mall, there is usually less traffic in regards to people, parking is easy and its close to everything. The only thing I would say in a needs improvement vein, is that the hot food takes forever to come out. You definitely need to get there early if you plan on getting food.

Not my normal movie theater but was up that way and must say, it was a wise choice. Place was immaculate, quiet and not crowded.

This theater looks old honestly. Actually surprised this is the closest theater in Town Center. I think it could use an upgrade. No reclining seats, theaters are on the smaller side, and just an overall unappealing vibe. Despite all of that, its convenient if you live nearby and there are deals that make it worth the price.

Not bad. Located just outside Town Center and kinda hard to get to even if youre familiar with the area.The seats are slightly above regular movie theater seats, with semi-reclinable chairs. There are handicapped seats and high seats; the width is about 16-25 seats per row, depending on the elevation.There are a few arcade games on the side to entertain the children, the booth is to the right after entering, and I believe you can get food there, just dont remember exactly where, but honestly are you really trying to spend Applebees money on Skittles?There are better and more convenient theaters, but this is not the worst by far.

I dont like to give bad reviews. Unfortunately, this theater earned it in my opinion. They charge the same as any other theater in the area, which would be fine, except that the seats havent been updated in years, other theaters have nice reclinable seats at that price point. On top of that, they have stopped selling tickets at the front, so if you dont want to pay the fees for buying tickets online, you can either go to the single automated kiosk they have available, or you can wait in line at the concession stand. We had to wait nearly 20 minutes to buy two tickets. There were only 6 people in front of us. If the theater werent trying to increase their profit margins by not hiring people to run the ticket booths, or if they simply put in more kiosks, then that wouldnt have been an issue. They may be getting ready to update the theater, but they havent changed anything in the last two years.

The employees were friendly and sweet. The biggest problem was when my partner and I entered the theater. We were stepping on old popcorn while getting to our seats, there were left over drinks and trash in the theater cup holders and the theater smelled weird during the whole movie. If Regal wants to be equal to competitors such as AMC then they must upgrade their movie picture quality and their seats. Will not be visiting again.

One of the worst movie theaters I have been to. The popcorn was old. I had to buy my tickets at the concession stand. We stood in line for 20 minutes. I definitely will not be back!!

I love this Regal. It is cleaner than AMC and they have better food options. The seats are also way better.

Not the best deal in the area but $5.60 on Tuesdays. Theater looks cool on the outside and retro inside. Cloth upholstery seating. Smells clean. Bathrooms were clean too although the handsoap was moldy smelling.

Teach these youngsters how to put butter on popcorn....you have to layer it not just dump it on top because once you eat the popcorn off the top the rest is dry! For as much as we pay for popcorn they should at least know how to make it!

Smaller theaters and not as good of popcorn as the Lynnhaven AMC, but the seats rock, which is nice!

Recently bought by a new parent company. Expect an understaffed complex with long lines. Do youself a favor and go to one of the 10 other cinemas in the area.

Always like regal. Tuesday is $5 thats awesome! If you sign up for regal card, receive points and ideas for $ 1 movie day for kids on some days. My kid n hubby went he says its nice n very busy! Great! Deals!

Standard movie theatre experience. Lady at the ticket window was nice and gave us some discounts with a membership card. Popcorn was fresh. No fully reclining seats. Overall, a pretty good experience here.

I love this theater, but lately it smells and the air is kinda damp. Its getting old and needs to be updated. But the people who work here are great.

As far as cinemas go the Columbus location is okay; its clean, the people are friendly, the picture & sound quality is good but there isnt anything to set it apart. In my opinion there are way better options; like the Regal at Strawbridge, which offers comfortable leather recliners..so comfy that you can easily go to sleep if the movie is really bad!

Great place to hang out with friends and family here at Regal Cinemas Columbus movie theater, and Good Customers nice and clean inside. I really enjoy watching movies here.

We love this theatre, we love the large reclining seats. Its so comfortable and inviting.You do have to get your tickets in advance if you have a party of more than one and want to sit together unless you like sitting underneath the actual screen. The concessions are ridiculously expensive but that is not exclusive to this movie theater. Just eat before you go and then relax and enjoy the show.
