Awesome historical displays. Antique refrigerator, washing machine, typical kitchen of the 1930s and of course displays on the Chicago Aurora and Elgin Electric Railway. They are open during this time and have masks for a buck if you forget yours.
I love going on this part of the Illinois Prairie Path.. Its very easy to ride your bike on. Very pretty and Play Parks, Water and Port-a-potties are available. That makes this bike path exceptional....and this History of Villa Park is very interesting with a little second hand gift ship too!!! So much fun!!
Lived in the village all my life, finally got a chance to take a browse through our Historical Society and I found it very informative. Thought I knew a lot about the villages history, come to find out I didnt know as much as I thought I did, or what I was told was completely wrong...... in any case nice place to look around very cool, when we cleared out my parents house a lot of the village memorabilia we found went to this historical society....how much they actually used of it Im not sure. Check it out if you want a good look at yesteryears, and where your Ovaltine was made first.
Great history about our little town
Great place to know history of villa park
Love this PLACE !!! IT IS THE ORIGINAL TRAIN STATION ON VILLA AVE. EXHIBITS CHANGE AND HAVE EVENTS
Small and boring, takes 5 minutes for kids.
Great piece of history
This is a quaint little historical society. They are not only a historical museum but also a small store which sells items that they collect in-order to keep the museum open. I have stopped in many times and have bought many items for cheap.
Great place to stop for a drink after riding the great Western trail:)
Really cool kitschy museum.
Ron Damico - You often make silly statements on public forums while high or drunk?
Wrong photo, the museum is in a beautifully restored train station.
