Beautiful natural park with a really cool baseball field

1st rate park baseball bathrooms playground and lots of geese there r trails through the woods as well

When we visited with our son, my wife and I could not use the sidewalk near the picnic area due to the party blocking it with their grills. I couldnt blame them for the placement though because it was likely due to the large amount of geese poop covering the entire park. I get it, its nature, but I see how people might just elect to go somewhere else because of it. Despite the excrement we found some shade near the lake to spread our blanket and play with our son. We walked over to the playground area as well which my son enjoyed. I would have liked it if both lakes had a dock where you could get close to the water. Only one of them has it and it was occupied by some fishers I didnt want to perturb with my unpredictable baby. It was nice seeing a little league baseball team using the diamond to practice and the family enjoying the picing appeared to be having a good time. The park is far from street traffic. There is a large open space that can be used to play soccer (although there are no goal posts)/football/frisbee. And there were some geese and ducks around to watch as well. All in all it was a pleasant experience.

Clean area, nice families gather there .. lakes could use a little clearing and saw some graffiti and some racist comments written, but never had issues there

Its a shame the village let, as they call it natural or wild flowers overgrowth take over the ponds here

Clean bathrooms, nice park. My son has had a few baseball games here. Only needs to have another garbage can. The only one that was there was overflowing.
