Been there a few times and with school for my grand kids. Amazing! I was checking times to see if I can bring my mom. She is older and would love to get out and see what we seen. Good job everyone. Love to come there.
Had never been here before so I have no clue how it operates normally (no Covid restrictions). I imagine it wouldn’t have been much better to ride around in the company vehicles. Expensive and boring. Spent $45 total, including the petting zoo and animal feed. I can’t believe all the positive reviews or how much they charge at regular price. What a joke. I like how they proudly announce how many animals they have in other reviews. “We have over 350 animals” do you mean that you have over 350 goats, pigs, and cattle? Because that’s the majority of what you see. The gigantic mountain of manure is the perfect addition. It basically sums up the entire experience. It was a big waste of time and money. Just driving by a local farm a few times would be equally satisfying, if not more.
Worth the price! My children (ages 4, 6, 7, 9) loved the experience. Great day trip from Pittsburgh and will do it again next year!
Great experience. Took our time, it was a good relaxing trip, kinda liked taking my own car, (although the rides they did here were great!) We got there first thing in the morning, I liked this place, and will probably return, wish it was a little longer, but still good family fun. Thanks!
My friends and I drove an hour looking for something to do. We decided to come to Wagon Trail and had such an amazing time! The staff was friendly and the animals were beautiful. The experience was amazing and we can’t wait to come back!! Thank you to the owners and staff for bringing us so much joy in these scary times.
We went in the car during the whole covid pandemic. It was very very cool! They did such a good job making you be able to drive through and see the animals. The petting zoo was open and half off if you showed your ticket to the drive through animal part! Thanks for finding a way to work around while showing perfect social distancing rules!
They have found a way to make it work during the Covid and still have fun! My hubby and I took a drive through on our Anniversary ️ I enjoyed feeding the animals at the petting zoo. Reduced rates. Animals are well taken care of. Friendly staff.
We were able to drive through see the animals and then the petting zoo at the end.
This was a great experience! Something safe to do during a global pandemic. I definitely recommend, and will be back!
Had a great time even though we were in our car and could not feed cattle
Cool animals. Fun ride. Enjoyed the you tube video as you rode through the park. Favorite part for everyone was feeding the Koi.
Its been two years since Ive visited. Tomorrow July 11th I plan on coming and must say I cant wait!! The two hour drive is always worth it. This is one of my favorite places to visit.
OH MY GOSH!After living over 10 years fairly close to this place & never actually visited, I was impressed!Ive heard the animals at night & was unsure of what/who those sounds were coming from!My son & his friends used to camp out in the back yard & as soon as it got quiet & they heard the sounds from there, youd have thought lightning had struck the tent, theyd all come running inside!I had a blast! Ill be back for sure!Went mid October & it was chilly out but still was a bucket of fun! No wonder schools from all over go there on field trips!- I was the first on the wagon ride to have my bucket stolen by a camel!
Amazing! The staff goes above and beyond to help you! Animals are very well taken care of! Beautiful place to take your family! Great for people of all ages! I definitely recommend going!
This place is nice, we drove a hour and 20 minutes to get there so I was hoping it was a little longer, but it was still a good time. It was nice to get out of the house for some safe family fun.
I was here with a 2nd grade field trip, and we ALL had a blast. the animals are fearless and come right up to the truck to be fed. The ostriches were my sons favorite. A very unique and memorable experience. We cant wait to go back!
First off: bring CASH money .No cards or checks accepted.Very nice petting/feeding area with a variety of animals.Bring quarters for the feed machines. The real treat is the “safari,” a covered wagon with benches that drives through different paddocks, with animals eating the provided bucket of feed either by sticking their heads below the bench (by your feet), chowing down directly from the buckets, or, for those who are less attached to their fingers, out of your hands.
Great time for the kids. They had fun.
Nice little drive thru zoo with lots of animals. All of the animals seem healthy and the staff were all really nice. The petting zoo area was fun too. My only issue was there was a car directly behind us in the drive thru zoo area. It made us kind of feel rushed.
Peaceful and tranquil!!! Extremely family oriented. Prices are low as well.
Would recommend to any family thats looking for something fun to do.
Awesome place to visit and see all kinds of animals. Locally owned. Animals are extremely well taken care of. Petting zoo and safari ride. Great for all ages.
The park itself is nice. Obviously the animals are cute. I was disappointed in the price for what you see which is why I’m rating it a 2. We were not able to feed the animals and the petting zoo was closed (due to Covid) so I understand that. I really think they should charge $10-$20 per car to go through rather than every person having to pay. We spent $40 today and it felt like it was for nothing. You can also only drive through one time where as other parks let you go as many as you would like. The only part worth seeing was at the exit where the zebras and ostrich are. I don’t think we will be back. I’ve been told there are others that cost the same and you feed them grain, Lettuce and carrots. They come right up to your car. I think my son would have enjoyed being able to do that. We also drove over an hour away. I really hope during a regular time that it is much better. I just can’t get over what we actually paid for. Tons of animals on their website were not even there. We saw pigs, ducks, llamas, ponies, Buffalo, zebra, ostrich. That’s it.
Absolutley loved going here!
Always love coming to the petting zoo for 5 bucks or going on a safari ride to feed animals you cant see around here for $16 adult and $13 for kids. Great family fun!
Loved it! Even during covid its fun! My kids loved the petting zoo!
I’ve gone to this park year after year and appropriate the experience they offer to myself and my children and I know that we are going through a lot when it comes to COVID-19 however I was just going on here to see how things are going due to the pandemic and how things are being operated so that I can experience it again as usual. I am shocked by the comments from customers and the owner. To those going to this park for the first time during COVID-19, I suggest that you try again when things are better because it is a wonderful park and well worth the experience running as normal. To the owner you’ve had this park for a while and those that have gone previously know this park and how great it is. So I’ll have to say there is no need to retaliate regarding something that your try to adjust to that is in all honesty out of your hand and ours. Maybe there is a way you can revisit the process of operation that will allow people to see all the wonderful animals that you do have and allow the cost to be sufficient and well worth it as usual. I mean the zoo is open to everyone with a limit per day. Just a suggestion! I give 3 stars during this time due to what I reviewed in these reviews and the fact that the park is tread water at this time to feed the animals and at least maintain until things are back to normal. We know this is hard for everyone and I think we should consider this when leaving a review during COVID-19. I also was just taken back by the comments left by the owner, as I believe it’s just to much information, just try to re-evaluate and apologize. Also I can’t drive thru with my own vehicle just not comfortable and never have been. Once I see that the truck are back up and running you better believe I’ll be there and commenting once again, and hopefully with and better review. I wish you guys the best of luck but I would definitely pay $17, to hop on that truck again.
We went yesterday, have been there previously but not during covid19. The experience was VERY disappointing. For what we saw and time it took was WAY OVER PRICED. Animals were far off due to no food to lure them and basically we seems long horned cows, pigs, elk and small deer from afar. Close up with an ostrich was only reason I gave a 2 star rating. We paid $40 and was worth maybe $15. DON’t waste your money go to Pymatuning Deer Park instead! We felt we got robbed!
We loved it! Was hot so some of the animals were resting. We saw a lot of interesting animals up close.
Small, but the kids loved it. The petting zoo was nice. Would definitely go back!
My family had a blast. The animals got closer than I thought so I sat in the middle with the baby. But no complaints at all. The animals are amazing. Definitely something the whole family will enjoy
Really great place and everything is handicap accessible. You get to feed the animals from your safari truck. Highly recommend!
What an amazing experience! animals just roaming around wide sections of land, coming up to the safari bus to eat from your buckets!!! awesome gifts from the gift dhop also!
Great experience. We will definately be returning again.
Its fun for the kids I had a good time there I would definitely go back!
We loved every minute of it! The people there are super nice and its was just an all around amazing experience! Already talking about our next visit!
Took about an hour and 30 min road trip from Ashland ohio to get out a do the drive thru tour. Was a fun activity to still be able to be socially distant as well as enjoy the animals. Very affordable prices and an overall fun experience that was worth it. Great family activity for the times we are in.
Wasnt the same not being able to feed animals but still love this place. Cant wait to come back again when things are back to normal. Need to support these kinds of places so they can stay open
We love it here and this was my grandsons first time and he absolutely loved it!
Very nice and animals are well taken care of! Would recommend for all ages! Camel knocked me off the bench but he was not mean. 100% a place for animal lovers! Staff is also very kind!
Great family fun. All the animals are extremely well cared for and look happy and healthy
Loved it! Theres not much room to put your stuff on the ride because the animals reach their heads under the benches to eat food you put there. (I would have left my purse and camera bag in the car so I wouldnt have to worry about it.) Also, the animals come up to all sides, but I think the people in the back have the best spot because some of them run after the truck to see if they can still get food (especially the camels-loved them!!!) The animals are all friendly and you can pet all of them, except the zebras and ostriches. However, if you are afraid of being so close, but still want to see the animals, there are benches in the middle where the animals cant reach. Definitely an experience you dont want to miss!
Animals walk right up to your car!!!Workers are very friendly and helpful.
They offer a lot of value and fun for family outings! There are hand wash/Sanitize stations and the animals look like they are well taken care of. The setup is nice and the staff all seem knowledgeable and professional. My kids love going here and the wife and I always end up having a good time as well!
My 2 year old Grandaughter love it
Due to Covid-19, their bus ride is not running. You drive through in your own car, paying per person over 2 years old ($10 adults, $5 kids). You cant feed the animals. There is a YouTube video you can watch/listen to while driving for info about the animals. They have a decent number and variety of animals. The camels are not out because they are too social/nosy and were messing with peoples cars (employee told us). You can also go through their petting zoo for $3/person with the flyer from the drive-thru. Its $6 without. They sell 3 ice cream cones filled with animal feed for $1. Nice variety of animals in the petting zoo too. Cash only.
The family ALL had a great time will definitely go again
It was a great thing for us and the kids. Pretty cheap right now with covid
Had a very good time there last year.Planning on a trip back here in a few weeks.
Lots of interesting animals at Wagon Trails and a fun time for the kids. There’s a petting zoo as well as a “safari ride”. You feed the animals along the way. It’s an experience for sure.Be sure to bring cash, as it’s a cash only operation. There is an ATM on property if you don’t mind the fee.
Friendly staff! Great price and a lot of fun!
Wonderful experience for the whole family. The workers were so very nice and friendly.
Amazing place to take your family. Animals walk right up to your car.
This was one of the greatest days ever. You can tell the staff loves their animal family. It was so exciting to be up close with all of these really cool animals. The camels will forever be my favorite. I really have no complaints or suggestions for improvements. This place is perfect!
Great place to take your kids too. You really get an up close and personal experience with the animals.
We had a great time!! Definitely worth the admission!! Our son loved seeing the animals up close!!
Loved the Safari and enjoyed getting to feed and pet some animals. Staff was friendly and helpful.
It was nice to have a place we can take grandma in her wheelchair!
Great place to take the kids ..very nice people and all around beautiful place to go
We love coming. Its a bit of a haul for us to get here but we try to make it at least once a year and we often try to bring someone new each time - this time it was with the two Chinese exchange students living with us for the school year. The grounds are always well kept and the guides have already been top notch.
I and my family have been coming here for 8+ yrs and love it! A wonderful trip for people of all ages! There’s a petting area, and feeding area... best part by far is the safari! Go in open trucks out to feed free-roaming animals which is a blast! The driver does talk about the animals you see, but it can be hard to understand because of the megaphone... but this issue doesn’t detract from the overall experience! Warning: if your not a fan/afraid of animals this part is not for you! The animals go straight up to the truck... and many stick their heads underneath the benchs by your feet... nowhere to escape... this is a must-do for any animal loving family!!!
Nice place to have fun with the kids and family . Very friendly place love it will go again. Thank you for a great time .
Drove a hour to surprise my kids. Looked on their website on the 29th and screenshot it which said they would be open on Wed May 7th. Once we got there they were closed. Looked on their site again and they had changed the schedule on the site. I spoke to someone through their FB group on messenger that could care less that they publicly posted on their site and then changed it. The person kept trying to deny that they ever changed the schedule even after I sent them the screenshot from their website. Then tried to blame it on “crazy times” They didn’t even have the decency to apologize. I won’t be back. This isn’t good customer service and not the kind of place I want to spend my money.
Very clean, good interaction with animals and staff.
We had the best time here, kids loved being so close to the animals. I had to watch as the camels do not care about your personal space, they like to tag team you. Was a blast and we will definitely be going again.
Great people and funny animals.
The animals were great!
This is a great place to take kids. The petting zoo is really fun. You hear nothing but laughter and squeals of delight as these herds of massive animals descend on the truck looking for a hand out. They are very gentle (but still be careful!) considering their massive size and you will no doubt end up nose to nose with a steer with 8ft horns. Watch out for one particular camel- he steals food buckets!! Even after the guide warned us - he snatched mine!! This is a pic of an Ostrich that was not buying my story of why I had no food to give him! Lol.
Ridding the wagon is a blast! The petting zoo was a bit dissapointing.Fun experience, great for all ages.
I always enjoy my experiences at Wagon Trails. I always come with my family and we all enjoy both the petting zoo and the truck ride around the park.
Amazing place to take your family...
This place has brought so many wonderful memories to my family over the last 15years we have come here . You can feed and pet the animals from a safe wagon. Then walk around and see different animals to feed and pet.Its not expensive at all.. Such a beautiful place to go for 2,3 hours or more..We love it!!
Fun outing for kids and adults. Drivers are very knowledgeable and help guests engage with the animals. You can tell that the facility takes good care of the animals and the grounds are well kept.
We have been coming here since the first year it opened and my oldest daughter wasnt even a year old. She is now in college and we still take her because we all love it so much. The camels are our favorite..... hilarious! When the ostrich come, hold your buckets tight with both hands. Bring a camera, video is best. Affordable and so much fun. I hope this place is still around when I have my grandchildren.
If you like animals here is a place that they are in your face. Not for germaphobes. You may get slobbered. Definitely worth the price
INCREDIBLE!! MUST CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!I was on a road trip with my wife when we bumped into this safari. It was an awesome experience. While your feeding American bison, you will forget where you are. This was just a fantastic experience for a fantastic price! We will be back. Thanks for the good times :)
It was fun. But over priced for what it actually was
Had a great time. The kids loved it!
Had an awesome time
Been goin here since a kid in school as field trips.
A great place to spend an afternoon! The petting zoo was lots of fun and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The animals are absolutely amazing! Everything was very clean and well maintained. Cant wait to go back again!
Went with the grand kids had a blast so much fun. The best part is its a ride very little walking
Great place for a short afternoon. So.many different animals to see!
A really fun place for the family!! The wagon ride through the park was awesome, especially the water crossing. Theres a lot to see. Feeding the animals, and getting up close made the experience much more special. The park is well maintained and clean. Fun for kids of all ages!!
The tour guide was very pleasant on the vehicle. I would reccomend this place to anyone who likes animals. There was a variety of animal species there such as alpacas, llamas, buffalo(bison), camels, geese, water buffalo, ostriches, male and female deer, and goats. I traveled with Lenzner tour and travel, and was very impressed on how pleasant everyone was. THE MOTORCOACH WAS EXTREMELY CLEAN, AND BLEW MY EXPECTATIONS OUT OF THE WATER. In conclusion, it wasAWWWWWWWESOME!!!
The grandkids had a GREAT time
Fun for the young ones to see the animals up close. The walking path petting area of the smaller animals was quite nice.Disappointed in the unkempt appearance of the larger animals, seen from the wagon ride. Nothing but dirt for them to walk around and roll in.
Very clean and friendly staff. I thought it was nice over all. The petting zoo isnt really a petting zoo, you cant go in with the goats or animals that you typically have at a petting zoo you just stick your hand up to the fences. Overall this is a good place to go, just not as good as another place I have been to.
Went with my daughter on a daycare field trip & we had a wonderful time.
Great place slot of unique animals
Very nice people and very nice place
Great time!!! Well definitely be back. My wife and I grew up with animals, was so nice to interact with all of them. Great staff, well kept park.
