So much history here. A Dodger fan’s bucket list trip come true! Amazing place to walk around and reflect on the history of the Dodgers. Now named for Dodger great, Jackie Robinson, this is a wonderful tribute to his legacy and great place for young athletes to come and be inspired to excel.
Loved coming back great updates.
Truly honored to walk the grounds of so many greats!!! Im a Reds fan but greatness will always rule.
Glad I visited this historic place! Very peaceful and calm atmosphere.
Really good baseball playing fields. Limited seating at some of the fields recommend that you bring chairs and shade canopies, bug spray. The trials too some fields are a little rough( sandy and tree roots plus tree branches. Hard to push strollers or wheelchairs).Excellent fields
If I had a bucket list, Dodgertown would be on it. Walked down a hallway filled with photos of Great Dodgers players and moments in their history. Very nostalgic.
Not a fan of this venue. Too many restrictions and waivers that our school district would not sign off to meet their requirements. Had to scramble to find alternative lodging. The infield was concrete, you would e pact if owned by MLB, they would have the ability to water the surface. The grass was average at best and staff were demanding rather than accommodating. I would expect more if hosting the premier event in the state for softball.
It was a fun place to take my son to to the st Hellens fair. Thank you
I used to go here with my father before he passed away back when the Dodgers were still here and I was just a boy. Given my great respect for Jackie Robinson and wanting to help charity, I went to the game today only to see hundreds of seats open, but marked off for renovation. So coming from a long day of work on my feet, I now have to stand for 3 hours? What good was the ticket? I am so disappointed. They ruined this game for me today. This is the biggest day of the year at the venue so I was told. After 6 years, i would think there would be enough seats planned for. This is not how I remember Holman Stadium.
History... and lots of it. Recently renamed the Jackie Robinson Sports Training Facility the Historic Dodgertown name should have been retained. Jackie Robinson I believe would have agreed. It is a shame that the parties could not come together to preserve the historic identity of a facility which has so much meaning to baseball, sports history and Vero Beach.
So much history. So many great memories. A great tribute to the great Jackie Robinson. Just wish they would restore it to its glory.
Harvest Festival Fair held here. Great time at the fair for the kids!
The fields are in great condition, decent parking and the confessions offering was good with great prices.
No tournament as said at admission gate. Had to pay admission to watch 2 games. Food was horrible for girls staying at the complex.
The light posts and all the memorabilia in the business office building and dining hall
Loved watching my son play on the fields that Dodger legends used in the past. Touring the facilities and the photos is a great experience for any Dodgers dan.
Top notch athletic facilities. If youre here, you werent called, you were chosen. Everything about the place screams of professionalism. Its since been renamed after Jackie Robinson.
We were so excited to go to a game at Dodgertown as a family, like my husband and I did growing up. Half of the stadium seats were condemned. We couldnt find a seat for one of us much less a family of 5. We walked around for almost an hour looking for seats with no luck. We left without even seeing the game as did MANY other families. My youngest two children even cried because we had promised a game, brought them to the field and had to leave :(Definitely was one of the worst experiences for a sporting event, we have ever experienced.
Currently under renovation by MLB, but I expect it will be game and life changing when completed.
Nice ball field. They do a good job with high school ball teams. Very impressed!
Great place, great softball and baseball parks. Great customer service by employees.
Took my daughter there for her toddler baseball and to the Jackie Robinson game. Love that we have the park, just wish they would revitalize it. The stands are in bad disrepair. Hopefully the mlb makes some improvement.
Trinity Christian Academy of Jacksonville won their first softball State championship there! Beautiful facilities in a beautiful beach town!
This place has potential to be an awesome baseball venue, possibly needs some better management. Hopefully they will make strides doing rhis as it would be an amazing place to keep going.
Was here for the Jackie Robinsons tribute game. Enjoyed it very much!
It has great cotton candy. But calls nachos chips and cheese.
I love historic places, but I believe they should be maintained and preserved. We attended the Jackie Robinson game and found the seats to be very damaged and the stair were covered in debris. The game ended up getting rained out, but it was fun nonetheless. I just wish that the stadium was better maintained, or even cleaned up for the event.
If you love baseball, that one of the places you gotta stop by, if driving by Florida. A complex with such history and used in the early ages by names as Jackie Robinson and Sandy Coufax.
This place is kinda depressing. Why host a big event and sell more tickets then available seats. Parking was also a nightmare. With a huge venue like that why not have an actual parking lot?
Great,, PLACE and they have some activities, people are great and very good customer service
STADIUM is being renovated from the grass to the seats perfectly!
Back when Historic Dodgertown & Holman Stadium was a place where we as a family could go and see a baseball game for relatively little cash outlay. We would in the springtime go & see the L.A Dodgers play their doing training games after spring training was over we could and did go & watch the Vero Beach Dodgers which was the farm team a single A team. We made a lot of friends and especially for our son, if he took to one player in particular one of his best best friends out of the team of best friends chances were that player would go on to the majors. We lived around the corner from the practice fields so we would days in advance invite a couple or 3 of the guys and their girlfriends or wives as well. SIGH....those were great times a lot of memories from or at Historic Dodgertown.
Awesome facility coupled with great baseball history. A real must see.
Such a quaint and cool place. You definitely get a feel for the history of the place and the happiness it brought a lot of people. Reminds me of a small college campus.
Nice clean facility... Was there for CFL tryout
My son had an awesome spring break training week. Great facilities.
The fields are nice but the stadium needs a facelift.
Great venue for the softball works series!!
Dogertown is a beautiful facility. Went for tournament baseball dont understand why they collected a $5.00 entrance fee, also not enough seating for the spectators.
This place has so much baseball and historical impact. A must see for baseball fans. A place where history was made in the advancement of civil rights. A great story that unfolded on these grounds, Jackie Robinson was first black man in major league baseball
Feels like its seen its better days =(
The venue is equipped with everything necessary and is clean. Fun for the entire family and the kids are made apart of the festivities there. We love it and enjoy attending baseball games there.
Top notch facility, but even more than that walking these grounds you can feel the history that has gone before.
Enjoyed seeing the history. Fields were in great condition. Son was there for a baseball event. Jackie Robinson!!
Too bad that theDummies of management drove the Dogers away. They should have let them play here and NOT charged them ANYTHING for rent and looked at the residual value. Stupid move. Its a great ballpark
It has not changed much in the last 40 years. It is going to need some upgrades and TLC very soon
The facility and staff are excellent...the rooms could use some updating (not that your there for the room, just saying).
We want to see the high school tournaments this place is amazing all the fields immaculate the teams are all set up what a great place come down and see some good baseball and then you can see spring training with the pros
Sorry not a Dodger Fan or it might jave been more Wow for me.There for youth travel sports, stayed overnight. Suggestion DONTRoom are Motel 6 basic, bed is rough, blinds dont close pr blackout so you have light in the room all night, shower rod broken so the curtain stayed open makeing the floor a pond, furniture is circa the 70s.Not worth more than $60 to $70 a night and they asked for much more.I travel for work, i would have left if my kids team was not there
Nice place well maintained. Lots of events. Wish i could go to them
Would like to spend more time. Will definitely be returning!
Beautiful place with lots of history!
The stadium needs better seats
This is a wonderful place
Love Dodgertown, it was a great place to watch a spring training game. You can feel the history.
The seat situation is abismal, how do you go and sell tickets for seats and not even have your seats available?
Lots of shopping and good times to be had it was a few years since Ive been though
Great Son rise service
Great place for a softball win
Amasing experience for young players. Very class .
Went to the fair here. Lots of rides and food. Great time.
Dodgertown is a staple of Vero Beach. Whether youre catching a baseball game or attending the annual St. Helens Harvest Festival, Historic Dodgertown has something to offer people of all ages.
Saw the annual Jackie Robinson game there. they renamed it Jackie Robinson training complex. the
Fresh fry bread. ...
Love the history, took brother and sister in law from California.
Craig Callen is the best
It was wonderful!! A history that I wont forget
So much history in this place. We feel honored to be able to have our kid play here.
Customer service is horrible!! Jennifer has the worse attitude ever. Aside from paying your nightly room fee you also have to pay an additional $5 a day each person to watch the games!
Love all the Memorabilia & Baseball History
Nice area went to fall festival but it was so over priced for ticket rides and just a couple minutes they let you ride big ripoff
Great experience for my son to be able to play here..
Great baseball history at this place
Great people. Great place yo eat
The tents on the dugout were horrible, 3/4 of the viewing area was obstructed. You either got to see the batter and none of the plays or the plays and none of the batters. They had the outermost sections roped off too so there was no good viewing areas because of the tents. Ruined the whole game.
Very nice place. Clean and secure, nice view
Neat baseball history
Dodgertown is an awsome historic place !!!
Great place to go. To bad the Dodgers are gone.
Super area for baseball
Its historic. Awsome
Well taken care of and great facilities.
Jackie Robinson game is always a good time
Awesome fields and a great experience!
Historic. Very nice.
Great
