A very special Thank You to Reno for his outstanding and excellent customer service today. With his immediate response I was able to have my questions answered and extremely satisfied with the results. Looking forward to visiting the Venice Performing Arts and one day meeting you!
Attended Beatles vs Stones event tonight. First time at the Venice Performing Arts Center. Awesome facility. I dont think there is a bad seat anywhere in the auditorium. Plenty of staff to assist you. Parking is easy to access and there is even valet parking if you so desire. We have already purchased tickets for another upcoming event.
I was not happiest with my seat choice. I called on the phone and asked for seats in the middle of the center. I took balcony seats. This would have been great if it was for the lights hanging down in front of the screen. I could not see the screen. I spent 4 hours on New years Eve watching Decades Rewind ( which was amazing) not being able to see the screen. It was a downer for sure.
Absolutely wonderful symphony and conductor! First time attending a performance and will go again... If Im able to get tickets! They are extremely popular!
Amazing space in an amazing high-school. Acoustics are perfect and theres not a bad seat. If you have the chance to catch a performance... Do It!
Nice place just not the crowds because of covid
Excellent venue. Full house but parking lot is well designed, easy exit. Excellent acoustics.
Saw The Nutcracker. Excellent performance, ballet dancers, costumes, live orchestra. Set could be improved. Good price.
Outstanding facilityGreat acousticsComfortable seatingAdequate parkingVery helpful staffWe were in row Q and very satisfied. We will be attending the Gershwin concert and have seats in row B. Will be interesting for comparison.
Nice center. Was way too warm inside. No beverages is another drawback.
The facility is wonderful, the variety of events creative and versatile and the collaboration with youth exceptional. A true community asset.
Carmina BURANA was awesome, the dance was UNBELIEVABLE and the percussion portion a delight.A 5 star night
Attended the Holiday Pops, it was phenomenal!!! Everyone we encountered was friendly and courteous. The program was outstanding!!
Battle of the bands. Beatles vs Stones. Outstanding show.
Went to a carillon recital outside the center itself. Nice facilities!
Great venue for Terry Myers Orchestra performance. Great performance.
So proud to have this amazing venue in Venice. Spectacular quality shows.
Beautiful facility. Look forward to seeing more shows there.
Great old time rock and roll. Amazing performance.
It was very nice. I just wish there was some brochure telling about the performers and maybe info on upcoming events.
Really nice place and its at the high school. Come hear the kids play too!!
Ice skate show very good so far
Went to see Great Gatsby and the students did very well.
Saw Queen Tribute band. Would have been nice to take pictures but was not allowed. School was selling snacks and mini water bottles that you could only have in the lobby. Very expensive ($3 for a warm can of coke and $3 regular size candy bars) but was raising money for the school. Would have sold a lot more with prices not so high, overheard a lot of people complaining.
All hands in deck was fantastic. We highly recommend everyone seeing it. Lots of energy and very Patriotic. Just what this country needs!
Attended for the first time, Decades Rewind was such a joy. It had ppl on their feet, singing and dancing along. The Center is a testament to community involvement, so very many volunteers there to make finding ones way, answer questions, direct traffic, keep everything moving smoothly, a breeze. Parking was easy. Only drawback was, for this performance anyway, having the lighting equipment/structure partially block our view. Not sure if thats usual thing or particular to this events staging needs. For some performances I would want to be aware of this in advance for seat selection but really, it didnt detract because the performance tonight was just that good
The students in the orchestra at Venice High School where magnificent. The level of maturity is outstanding. Keep up the good work. I am very proud to be a part of this community.
Excellent venue. Will call very efficient. Arriving and departing easy and fast. Great experience.
Fabulous. Wonderful concert. Lovely space
It was an alcohol free rock concert not sure what that was
First time there. The show was fantastic. Will come back. Everyone was so friendly
Great auditorium. Seating was good. Show was fantastic.
Very nice not a bad seat in the house.
Great show..amazing talent.
It was nice but its a new building and the seats are small like old movie theater seats. New movie theaters have bigger more comfortable seats.
Great venue, goid performance
This is a beautiful venue. It was hard to believe I was at a high school.
First time at this beautiful venue. Great seats with a good view of the stage throughout and ample parking.
Beautiful and professional venue, the balcony has one of the greatest views, the load dock was so easy to get our gear in and out on. The building itself is only 4 years old as of this review. The seats are comfortable, theres plenty of seating and its accessible to the disabled, both levels. Plenty of free parking and staff is more then nice.
Its a wonderful theater! The staff are very professional and skilled. The VPAC does school events but it also has a wide range of other performers. The seats are really comfortable and the theater itself is beautiful.
A Venice treasure with good seating and acoustics. Enjoy either first level or balcony seating. There is ample free parking. One suggestion: Add a wine bar or concession stand.
I will tell you more after I return from Tony Bennett where it said to see him
Easy in, easy out. Clean Restrooms. Excellent sound and view of performers. Amazing facility considering the size of Venice, FL.
A most spectacular performance..looking forward to the next amazing experience
Great preformances here
Nice venue to enjoy symphonies
Nice new theatre with good acustics, not a bad seat in the house. Great concert especially Beethovens 7th Sym. Maestro Troy Quinn did a great job leading these very talented musicians!
The performance was amazing, but the long long line trying to get in was confused and frustrating. We were told on the phone there was no reserved seating, but people did have reserved seating tickets. My friend called for tickets and was told to pick them up at will-call. But there were no tickets there in her name. Inside, I asked for a program and was told by an usher there were no programs. The lady next to me had one. There was a pile of programs on a nearby chair. There werent enough seats for the crowd. If the ushers were volunteers, they need more training and info. Still, the Jazz Ambassadors were great!
Beautiful. Handicap accessible. Plenty of seating area options for wheelchairs with chairs for others to sit together. Great sound system. Stage easily veiwed from every angle of seating.
I go to this school and perform here all the time, the vpac is way nicer and more modern than the actual theaters here
Love the Christmas concerts.
Great venue for shows.
This is a civic treasure! The entire town should be excited about another performing arts venue; this only enhances our growing reputation for cultural awareness and support of the arts, and having many high school students involved in apprenticeships is a welcome addition! Go!
Great venue. Easy parking very nice theater.
Comfortable seating and good viewing of the stage
Probably the best performance venue anywhere in this area. Beautiful.
FORBIDDEN BROADWAY is about the funniest play I ever saw!!!Genius parody of most Broadway shows and tunes that we are all familiar with and the cast did such an amazing job with each one!Gina Kreiezmar, Jeanne Montano, Kevin B. McGlynn and William Selby each deserve a Tony for their wonderful performances. Their vocal ranges are absolutely amazing!!! I cannot praise them enough.Towards the end of the show, Gina appears as Liza Minelli, looking and sounding so much like her (except maybe even better!) and because I was sitting in the first row she climbed down and asked what my name was. I promptly replied it was Mama Mia and pointed to the name on my sweater. She laughed and turned to the audience, but then when I told her all of my 11 given names, she as well as the whole audience was just stunned. It was a real riot, it certainly made my day, I cant remember having this much fun at any show!!After the show some patrons asked me if I was a plant and I said no, and that they could research my names and the rest of my story in the book I wrote called MY LIFE WITH PAPA. some did say they would check it out. What fun !!!HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE!!!!
Great venue for the Venice symphony. The Christmas show was wonderful as always.
First time there was a excellent show and place. Plan going back for more.
Fabulous place.. Great accoustic... Very warm welcoming, congratulations to the volunteers...
Casey Trascik is a talented director and is a great leader as the VPACs Theater Manager & Technician. Amazing performance of “Lillian Likes It!”. Strong actor performances and great lights, sounds, and direction. Highly recommend seeing a performance in this space.
Amazing Beautiful Rich surrounds envelope & enhance the experience VIPA provides. The Staff, Volunteers and performers are too notch! Seating is very comfortable and the environment is safe & friendly. A must visit if in or near Venice...
Beautifully situated on Venice Island, Florida! Kudos to the city leaders and community for their vision to invest in this architectural and cultural gem.
First time there to see the Venice symphony. A real nice venue easy to park.
Music was excellent, the facility was very comfortable, and the volunteer ushers were friendly and knowledgeable.
Love performing on this stage and attending events in the beautiful hall.
Very nice place for entertaining
It was our first time there and we were there for 9th grade orientation.
Beautiful and amazing! I cant believe it took me this long to find VPAC, but it is an amazing theater and they have some great shows!
Fantastic venue for the Venice symphony!

Not a bad place to watch a show.

The best venue in Venice to see a play especially when my sons in it
Beautiful venue, good visibility from every seat, clean bathrooms, ample parking
The preforming arts center is attached to the highschool and very easy to find. There is a great sound and great acts come to this amazing theater.
Wonderful Programs
Go see Lillian likes it! Awesome performance
Beautiful theater but they need more stalls in the ladies restroom.
Great Place to see a performances such as bands, plays, and so forth.
One of the more updated auditoriums in the area. Came here to see the Sarasota School of Russian Ballet. Great experience for sure.
