What a disappointment! I had seen an ad for a dance show featuring Chinese culture, and purchased tickets for The Venice Symphony where it was to take place. The website encouraged formal attire, so my husband and I prepared accordingly.I dont normally mention money when I write a review, but it is a key factor so I feel I must do so here. We paid $210 for two tickets, plus the cost for a new gown and accessories. We were really looking forward to our evening at the symphony for the music and the production.Unfortunately we had a crisis occur that prevented us from attending, but we happily passed our tickets on to friends who went in our stead.Well... I was embarrassed to find out that even though the tickets stated the venue was The Venice Symphony, it actually took place in the HIGH SCHOOL in Venice! Our friends drove to the symphony, only to be redirected to the high school. People were dressed in anything from shorts and T-shirts to gowns and tuxes. I wont get into reviewing the show here.There was false advertising here, and I feel like I was taken for a fool. It should have been made clear up front where the venue actually was. I dont know if Ill try the Symphony in Venice, on principle alone.One unhappy customer!

So good to enjoy a hard working accomplished symphony.

I have attended 3 of their concerts, and honestly, for a small city orchestra, they are excellent.
