I withhold one star. The park is nice but lacks some attention. The hike was beautiful but be prepared for a killer horsefly attack if you hit it the wrong time. This tree though! Worth 4 stars on its own.

Public access from day light till dark for Duck Hunting, Fishing, and Hiking.

Great hiking trail. Interestingly landscape, enjoyed this hike! Pictures were Dam lookout trail.

I only gave 1 star to get attention, this is an absolutely beautiful trail and something you wouldnt expect in this area. There are a few waterfalls, the water follows most of the trail. You walk up the cliffs & there are plenty of great views. Moss covers most of the area, and flowers in the spring. The water even smells clean. I wish they has some gravel on parts that get muddy (from traffic.) But other than the mud, it appeared well kept. Something should be addressed for the mud, as there is no way around it. Other than that, this is a diamond for our area.

If this place had picnic tables it would be 5 stars. Trails are relatively easy (we bring our 2 year old) and short enough for a quick trip, but beautiful in the way the Natural State is known for.

It’s a great place to hike! There is not a ton of people flooding the trails. Very few while I was there. Although there were a lot of cars in the parking, they were boaters.

Trails are well marked and branched out. 3.5 miles I believe is the longest route, 3 or 4 routes in all. Pretty secluded to add.

Its beautiful and I love it here but OH MY the ticks!

We came here basically to waste a few hours and it was beautiful. The water had a beautiful open view and there was a good sturdy dock. The trail is at the end of the road behind the bathrooms and it is awesome. Old Bodine Cemetery is in there and the views of the river are great from the top!

I found this place by accidentI love it here. A diamond in the rough!!! Lots of hiking here. Trails everywhere! There was even a old graveyard on the trails.

Crack in the Rock was a fun scenic trail. Be sure to check yourselves for ticks.

If you like nature. This is nature. The cracked rock hiking trail starts in the beginning/front area of the parking lot. I wish someone said this in the reviews, because if you go into the big parking lot, you wont find any hiking trails.

My dog became ill with Lyme Disease after visiting the Dam Overlook trail, which is littered with ticks anytime of year. Even with being on a flea and tick preventative she was still bitten. We love visiting the trails but if your weary of ticks stay clear of the Dam Overlook trail, or just thouroughly check yourselves and your pets after hiking. Its a beautiful place and we will continue to visit just without our fur babies.

This is absolutely my favorite place to go. I love the scenery and the creek is nice to wade in to cool off in the summer. It has something for everyone. Whether you ride a bike, love to hike long trails, want to hike short trails, love history (burial sites everywhere), and like a blast from the past. There is rock formations, hills, valleys, beautiful trees, waterfalls, etc. Just all around wonderful. The fishing is great too. (Hint: Fish directly over the dock and you will catch everything). I did see a HUGE copperhead on the trail last year. Only snake I have ever seen but it was there so keep safe.

Beautiful place to hike. Trails are well marked in most areas. Only about 6 miles of trails, but very close to Van Buren.

Beautiful walking trails. Be careful and watch your surroundings. There have been several sightings of Sasquatch while walking these trails.

Love this lake, great for Bass and Crappie. Could use a courtesy dock at the boat ramp.

The trail was wet from a couple of days if rain but well worth the effort.

Great bass lake. My advise is to call first before you go to make sure it is open. Wont make that mistake again.
