Wonderful use of park, splash pad, stage for music and performances, two permanent roofed areas with picnic tables as well as Farmers Market on Saturday. Stand with bags for your pups. Absolutely love this years holiday display especially the Xmas tree its a must see

The Splash Pad has lots of room, and several benches. THough they are mostly in full sun, there is plenty of shade under the pavilion.

Cute little park, they have a small splash park during the summer. Nice pagodas to host small parties.

I went to the farmers market for the first time. It was quite small and I expected more from the pictures that were posted. However, what was there was a little surprising also. There was very little veggies and fruits which was disappointing. I did find some plants, both flower type and spices which was nice. The majority of tables were jewelry, wood carvings and crafts. I left with an aloe plant, basil plant and a couple of cucumbers.

The tents were great. Made a big difference. A complete covered roof would be fantastic. Large fans would be a big help.

Cool place

This was the first time that we took our granddaughters to the park. It was wonderful. Its a nice break from the heat for the girls. Its free, local and a great watery break in the day. We will return.

My best friend and I rode the train and enjoyed it so much. The crew was very attentive and knowledgeable about the history behind the train and its owner and route. I had an absolutely great time.

This is a wonderful place to enjoy the fall weather. You can sit at the freedom park and look across the street at the beautiful Veterans Memorial Park and reflect back to what wonderful freedoms we experience due to sacrifices soldiers from all military branches have made. We need to thank our veterans all over our nation, daily.

This is a great place for the family and if you are familiar with any of the websites that list all local events, you will find a lot of things that you and your family can do in this area. Everyone at every store is always helpful and friendly and smiling. And the region is always kept very clean.

Its not safe. Its next to a road, its not fenced off. The surface is slippery Ive seen two children have to go to the ER after slipping and cracking their head open, and three more with cuts and scrapes from slipping.

It has a big star on ground with water spouts coming up out of it.

When the kids are bored we love to take them to freedom park so that they can run around and ha e fun. They especially like it in the evening when the lights light up on the splash pad

Wonderful place but needs a gate up where the road is!

The splash pad is great. Its on a timer. To start it, step firmly on the round orange button looking thing. There is no sign to tell you to do so.

Recently remodeled, next to the train depot and water park in the historical old town of van buren Freedom park is something van buren can be proud of. Less than 2 miles off interstate 40 . Take exit 5 south and down log town hill. Very beautiful and scenic view.wheelchair accessible, bathrooms and shopping available. Free public on the street parking
