I found the park to be very well maintained. Easy access to parking with several walking trails from the parking areas. It is a free park with access to river fishing. There is a boat ramp for public use.

The view of the railroad bridge is amazing but the area could be better tended to.

A good little place to get away from it all. Having to drive through a factory made it an interesting way in, but I guess that makes this such a good place off the beaten track. I highly recommend watching the sunset under the railroad bridge.

Very nice lake but the bathrooms are absolutely revolting! One had entirely black toilets and overall looked like a horror movie set and another was locked but had poopy toilet paper and face masks in from of one entrance, and poop stains on the wall in front of the other. The play ground equipment was very nice though. Whole family had a blast.

Best I have seen the park look since the late 90s. Will be going back often.

Natural beauty close by for all the outdoors folks in the area and surrounding areas, this spot is a simple naturally stress free solution!

Van Buren had really cleaned this area up. Its still not fully accessible, but the overgrowth is cleared and the grass is mowed. Good job!This is a great area to bike, run or walk. Low traffic and great views of the river

Beautiful! You feel isolated and one with nature, but you are right there close to everything! Right down the road from all the conviences of town

This place has really changed since I was a young kid. Its really run down I wish the corps of engineer or somebody are some establishment Kid clean this place up like it used to be

My sister and i visited to take my nephew down to the only picnic bench we found near the water. Just killing time. It would be nice to have benches and trash barrels available though.
