Such a fun place! You can walk behind the huge waterfall for some fun pics. Be sure to watch the BASE jumpers jump off this bridge. We were here in early September and they jumped about an hour before sunset. A fun and free place to enjoy!

Great place to paddle. It was crowded on a Friday afternoon. Be aware of the boating RULES. I got a $100 ticket for not having a life jacket with me in my canoe. Ive never ran into that before in all my years paddling.

What a great hike! On a 1-5 scale, Id rate this as a 3 in difficulty. Its great for kids and adults that are in decent shape. There are steep drop off spots and uneven terrain, but its not bad. There are a few offshoots to your left from the main path, that lead to amazing shaded spots along the Snake River. About 1/4 of the way in you start to see gorgeous waterfalls to your right. Plenty of great spots for amazing pictures... of both scenery and just amazing back drops!! We love this place and will definitely be returning!

A must visit for sure. Make this a place that you come to visit when in or around Twin Falls. Don’t stop at just Shoshone but head down here for kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, fishing, boating, and more. Such a great place to be.

Gr

We had an awesome time here! Went kayaking up thr Snake to the lower falls and then carried our kayaks across the rocks and paddled up to see the upper Shoshone falls from the water. It was a great experience and a gorgeous trip. The water is so calm we had a hard time remembering if we were going upstream or downstream.Centennial has kayaks and paddle boards you can rent and a spacious parking lot. We brought our own kayaks, but its nice that thats an option. The bathrooms were exactly what we needed. And best of all, theres no entrance/parking fee!The only downside so saw were:1, It could be a pretty busy tourist trap if you dont go early in the day or early in the season (we went early in the season, and it still got busy around the afternoon).2, The entrance ramp is really small, so you can only put in or take out one boat at a time, and the loop to get into it is kind of small and confusing. Thats not as big of a deal with kayaks, but we still had people block our way to load up the kayaks.I definitely would still recommend this to anyone and look forward to going again!

Very cool to be able to take the kids on a trail (slippery one tho) that goes directly behind the waterfall! Easy to get to, on the road behind Costco that goes down in to the Canyon... Right on the corner bend! The park down at the bottom was great for putting kayaks and paddleboards in to the Snake River.

Just do it! Rent a kayak at Cenntenial Park and paddle to Shoshone falls. Portage over Pillar Falls but take time to explore the area, have a rest & a snack here. So cool! Took us about 2 hour up & 2 hours back, we were moving along pretty fast. I would do the 6 hour rental. If you are lucky you can watch base jumpers under the Perrine Bridge too!

Grilling here was not an option for us. Maybe, another season.

Great place for swimming, kayaking, boating, paddle boarding and just about any other water activity you can think of. They do have a place to rent kayaks which is awesome, and they also have a place for zip lining. Remember to bring plenty of sunscreen and water. The trails are amazing and also great for runners and bike rides.. You can also go fishing here. The golf course is also a good attraction here. Also the best part is that it is dog friendly.

So cool!! Sun started to set a deer was everywhere. Most of the people are very careful when driving on the grade. Couple of young kids drove fast but most people had common sense to watch for pedestrians and be cautious. Few joggers blocked the road at one point but other than that beautiful place!! We are truly blessed to live on an edge of a canyon. Not many can say that.
