The Tulsa Botanic Garden is a great spot to visit! They have beautiful gardens and lots of stuff to see, touch, and smell. We recently went to one of their astronomy nights and had a fantastic time. This is the perfect spot to get out of the house and spend some socially distant time in nature.

This place is nice and quiet. There are lots of bumble bees and humming birds buzzing around to enjoy. It’s not quite as big as I expected but it’s worthy of taking your time. Plan to stroll at a leisurely pace, maybe even bring a book, picnic, or travel painting kit and spend some time sitting and soaking it in. We booked a two hour time slot ( due to COVID ) and spent around an hour and half here going at a decent pace but I’d say you could easily spend the full two hours plus some if you had the time ( and after they no longer make you book a time window )

Absolutely stunning gardens! There is so much to do and see here. And theyre doing a great job with the social distancing. This place is wonderful. If you love nature or plants it all, its an amazing place to go. This is an amazing place for a family day out and for couples to enjoy a nice day together. If you have some studying to do or a good book to read, then there is no better place than in the gardens among the peaceful scenery and sounds of nature.Lovely flowers, beautifully planned plots, sculptures, and fountains throughout the entire property. Lots of benches to sit on and rest if you get tired. Generally a very peaceful atmosphere. Specialty gardens, play areas, informational boards... its just great~

The gardens were beautiful, the main loop around the pond is partly gravel and is difficult with smaller stroller wheels. The childrens garden was amazing but several areas were closed for covd19 but it was still a really enjoyable experience.

A great afternoon outdoors among the beautiful plants, flowers and trees. We took our 2 granddaughters ages 10 and 7. They had only seen the Botanical Garden at Christmas time and were amazed at all the flowers and greenery. It was pretty warm but you could always find shade. We all loved being outdoors. Everyone practiced social distancing and most wore masks.

The grounds of the Tulsa Botanic Garden are absolutely beautiful. Ive lived in Tulsa all my life, and have never experienced our hidden gem. Ive heard about this place but just had not taken the time to check it out. The weather was perfect and I went around the 10 a.m. hour so it wasnt too hot. The staff seems to be very friendly and the grounds are very well kept. The outside environment was extremely peaceful and is age appropriate for the young and the young at heart. I attended with my son and his class from school and all of the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The treehouse with the book bin was a huge hit for us, and so was seeing the little lizards. I cant wait to return with my family so that we can enjoy it together.

Tulsa Botanic Gardens is a hidden gem. Ive lived in Tulsa for almost 8 years and never knew this place existed. There are two separate areas to explore with a childrens discovery garden being one of them. I loved the interaction of the childrens area. Lots for little hands to do and touch without getting in trouble. There are tons of water falls, water fountains, and a huge white garden statue (not sure what its of) that has a hidden element to it. Make sure you go around to the back of it and go inside.I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the flowers had already bloomed and feel off. Still lots of beautiful tulips and others to enjoy. There are also tons of small signs around to give you some small facts.

The children’s garden was our favorite by far. There’s so many interactive activities for kids. There’s instruments out for them to play with, plenty of fun fountains, a “tree house” with books to read and dress up clothes to play with. The flowers are all beautiful and the signs are easy to read and very informative. Definitely a great, inexpensive place to take a trip to.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. My boyfriend and I were visiting Tulsa and decided to check this place out for the first time. Us being new comers we were under the impression it was free to the public. So we then proceeded to walk through an unlocked gate thinking it was the entrance, mind you we’ve never been here before. Half of the gardens we did get to see were nice, but us unaware of what was going on we later noticed some workers passing by us in a golf cart multiple times they later approached us in a extremely rude way accusing us of purposely breaking in and not giving us a chance to explain. Instead of them assisting us in a professional manner they came off as arrogant and unprofessional which made our experience a nightmare. We paid our money and decided to leave because of how uncomfortable we felt. We will never visit this place again and will be sure to let others know how much of a joke and how careless the staff are to new customers.

My family loves this place but like most places that are open require mask. You must schedule an appointment even with a membership and with this we ( my wife and I ) were under the impression that this was a place for familys. Sign out front that states employees are wearing mask and that you ask everyone to do the same. Well the employees outside are not the mask are on there chins, even when you approach. People walk through the entrance/office wearing a mask but as soon as they get outside they take them off. As I understand while you are alone outside this is ok but no one cared as the came into contact with anyone else. Multiple groups not taking precautions. There was also a group taking photos, taking the whole walking area. At one point we ( my family 3 kids my self and wife ) needed through there group because they were blocking the entire walking path taking pictures and none of them were wearing mask nor had mask visible. No one acknowledged our presence we had to ask them to move, didnt care. Then had to demand they move. Even without the current covid situation this is unacceptable. Also same group of adults wear climbing on the water falls to get/take different pictures. You should not only be requiring mask but also enforcing them as well. It doesnt cause breathing issues, it is all in your head. The only thing it makes harder is it makes your face sweat a little more that it normally would. Its not even inconvenient, no different than a hat or your glasses. Your mask are meant to protect those around you not you. So everyone freaking just wear one so everyone else is covered. If you have trouble breathing its not the mask its an issue you had way before any of this. Bottom line get over yourself wear a damn mask, businesses enforce policy other wise nothing is going to change.
