Very beautiful park, but I must say its best to explore with someone. If you are going to be alone I recommend bringing some mase or some type of weapon for protection. I only had one odd encounter, but that was the first time I was alone too. In my opinion it can be a good place to unwind.

The park itself is a nice little gem that the city has failed to up keep. As of this post they have place a fence around the perimeter to deter vagabond easy access. The city has landscaped and its more inviting. I’ve been coming here since I was teen. My favorite time to visit is fall.

Very disappointing. This could be a very nice area to recreate and relax, however it has not been taken care of. Trash and drug paraphernalia everywhere. Trails are overgrown and covered in garbage. Looks more like a scene from the Walking Dead than a public park in a 1st world major metropolitan area.

Poorly maintained pond/park. Litter from the near by business has entered the park. The city refuses to properly maintain it. Homeless people are an issue. This is a drug gateway hang out for people. Not to mention people are too damn lazy to pick up after them selves.

Visited with my lunch looking for a picnic table because local restaurants are drive-through only during COVID. No parking anywhere nearby. Site was scary and filthy with unconscious people and garbage lying everywhere. Stuck my head down a boardwalk and found it had recently been set on fire. I quickly fled this horrid place and will never return.

Its a nice urban park- there is no parking there, so you have to park at Target, which is the only way to get in, all the other gates have locks on them. The restrooms are boarded up, Im not sure why, but luckily theres Target!

Google directions take you to the back of Target where there are no parking signs all over. We decided not to look for another entrance because it didnt look worth the time.

I do not recommend this park. The bathrooms were closed due to vandalism and misuse. There was trash and broken glass everywhere: picnic tables, docks, edge of the water, along the path. There was also a rather large wasp nest under one of the tables. We brought our kids, who like exploring off the main path. There were plenty of side paths...littered with clothing, trash, and a random video gaming seat.It COULD be a very lovely, pleasant place, but it just felt dirty. I wish people could clean up after themselves. There were plenty of trash cans.

Pond and trail is literally trashed out from people not caring and the government not keeping it up. I do not advise people to use it for fear of their own safety.

This park has the ability to be a nice hideaway in the middle of everything. It hasnt been kept up. There was litter and graffiti all over. Not a place I would bring my daughter.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon to enjoy the park since it was sunny out. The restrooms to this park was all boarded up and is clearly abandoned by the city. For some odd reason the benches were painted black and was extremely hot to sit on. There were a few sketchy people here (a man casually slicing something with a knife and a group of sketchy people). I would not recommend people coming here as a safety precaution.

Park is beautiful, but not taken care of. Its very dirty with trash. If better taken care of by the city this could be a great place.

Cool pond /lake body of water. Located in an area that is kind of sketchy. The park is located behind a target store along with a medium sized shopping complex. Park appears to be forgotten by the city. Isolated location combined with no bathrooms or other usable features makes this spot less than desirable.

This park has the potential, and perhaps once was, a not terrible park. But its not even close now. If I had to describe this park in one word it would be gross. Homeless people sleeping about aside, theres garbage, needles, broken glass, dead animals and human poo everywhere. Bring some have sanitizer and for the love of gawd dont sit or touch anything

Well, this has become a homeless living park. Garbage of the homeless population here is rampant. Discarded shopping carts in the water. Had potential at one point but it seems the only upkeep is the trails...that subsequently lead to the random hobos and their discarded items strewn about haphazardly. Made the mistake of taking my son there for a walk. Just avoid.

This is a nice spot to see the pond from but there were people smoking crack in the park and the last couple of times Ive been here the bathrooms were disgusting. I would never use them if I were you. Theres usually garbage on the ground as well. It used to be an ok park but now its a spot for drifters. Dont go here alone or with children.
