The Museum is big! They have two separate buildings for this museum. They have a lot to look at but I thought it would take more time. It took us around two hours to get it all done. If your in the area and have some spare time I would definitely stop and check it out. They do have an Old Airforce One wish it was newer stuff though. The space stuff was poor, a lot of it is replicated wish they had more authentic items.
Perfect place for peope interest in space or airplane, especially for kids.
A must see for anyone interested in aviation. There is so much more to see then just the photos I’ve shared.
The entire history of aviation is shown in this museum. The exhibits are thoughtfully laid out and there is a ton of ways to learn about the aircraft.
Went for the Jet Blast Bash with my son. Yes, it was a blast! Great museum! Plus getting to see the Blue Angels up close is awesome too.
Ive been to Weight Patterson and Ive been to Pima. Very different from them both but still 100% worth visiting. The views of Boeing field and the active runway are not only impressive, but they are plentiful. Multiple places within the campus, indoor, outdoor, first floor... Second floor.Overall great museum. Clean bathrooms too!I wish the cafe would have less carb-y options.
Seriously had a great experience here today! There were so many planes, but also information, artifacts and interactive explorations too! We even learned some cool evolutional stories from a couple of the museum handlers. They were so kind! We also got an opportunity to walk aboard the Airforce One, Boeing 747 and 787 and another British Airways plane. Highly recommend going here if you havent already and history is your thing! Worth the $25 fee!
Awsome place, staff is great. Will be back with the kids as they get older.
I been to several aviation Museums around the country, & Ive gotta say this is best one I have ever been to. To see so many full scale aircraft types of the real historical deal in one place is pretty fricken amazing. The very first jet powered Air Force One, the original first built 747 the one that did the famed barrel roll, & an British Airways Concorde many of which could probably fly tomorrow if money was thrown at them, & proper repairs made. I was much pleased they had a Concorde housed their, which I had no idea until the other day. I hadnt seen a Concorde since the Air France Concorde I witnessed in Las Vegas in the spring of 1988, a photo of which Ive include in my review photos. Never got to see it in this capacity back then, but did get to witness it pulling up to the gate at ground level. At the time my step Dad was a Northwest Orient Ground Supervisor, & things were looser then. Its an excellent place for people with limited mobility if you have your own devices. We rented a scooter, & having ramps, & elevator made it easier for my wife to enjoy her visit. Definitely a must visit place if your in the Seattle area!
We hada great time! Wish we could stay longer. The museum is very interesting and we love the staff and volunteers. They are very helpful and knowledgable. They have a great gift shop that has a lot of interesting items. Their bathroom are nice and clean. We will definitely try to come back and stay longer next time we visit.
Great staff and a ton of beautiful planes on display. We really enjoyed being able to step on to Air Force One and the Concorde. Its definitely worth the price of admission.
World class museum. One of the best of the flight related museums in the world.Obviously this got to be one of the best since it is the home town of Boeing airline manufacturer.Vast displace and interactive sections for all ages. Beside the entrance fee, there are other optional events such as special exhibits and movies
Great part of the museum. It’s a bit of a walk from the main buildings but it’s pleasant. Great to see the Concorde and only Air Force one. Ww2 bombers and planes both commercial and military. There’s a small kids play area in the very back past the Dreamliner. They love playing there - it’s like a little airport.
This place is just awesome! Even though all the aircraft is a bit squished it is great to see many airplanes and it’s history!
Flight simulators and some things closed but still a couple hours worth of stuff to see.
Such a wonderful place to soak up history through the lense of aviation! Plus, it is outdoors, so fresh air and covered from the elements means it is enjoyable all year round! Plus, this last time we found the little kid play area which was a great play/rest space for my youngest and myself.
Really cool area to explore. Several of Boeings most famous aircraft types are parked here.
So many aircraft, a must have for each aviation fan
Great museum all kinds of history.
We were there for hours and hours enjoying all the different parts of this fantastic museum and are already planning a return visit!
My kids enjoyed his place a lot. Place to Visit. Every month 1st Thursday 5 Pm to 9 PM free entry.
Extremely educational and neat very good place to take children so they can learn a little bit about what they do at Boeing which is a big part of Seattle
We went here on the free Smithsonian museum day and enjoyed seeing all of the planes. We didnt get to see everything and will definitely be going back to see all of the exhibits. Highlight was going in the Concord and Air Force One!
Very interactive museum. I enjoyed the fact that we can walk into the Concorde, 787 Dreamliner, Air Force One and 747.
I loved being able to walk into some planes and if you love planes then this place is perfect.
Amazing collection the space gallery....its incredible
Fun place for a weekend visit. We went during a free admission day. Not sure I would have paid admission price for four, but a lot of fun as free admission.
We loved being able to actually go inside a number of the airplanes in the pavilion! The lunar mission Apollo 11 50th anniversary exhibit was really interesting, as well as, educational. The actual capsule is there, but I wish they would do like the Smithsonian does at their Air and Space museum and have a stair case up so that people could look down into the capsule. Learning about the space race was also a nice reminder of how our space program developed.
Must see for any aviation enthusiast! Go on board Concorde, Air Force One, the Dreamliner, Uniteds first 727, and the City of Everett 747. Also see a B17, B29, Boeing 247, Douglas DC-2, and more. All this included with admission to the Museum of Flight
Good time. Its free on Thursday
You get to see all kind of aircraft from boieng here. A must visit place
I was here 12 years ago and it was sad how the aircraft were just sitting in the elements and deteriorating. They have built a huge pavilion and the aircraft are protected and look great and taken care of. If in Seattle and you like airplanes... go here.
Cool spot for airplane lovers. You can see the previous「Air Force One」so close.
A great presentation. Huge inventory.
WAY better and larger than I expected. Wide variety of planes. Loved the WWI and WWII floors. Videos, planes, photos. I would have loved to spend even more time there!
We went here for a field trip, the kids loved it and so did i. It’s such a nice museum
This large covered pavillion features a remarkable collection of rare and unique aircraft with historical significance, some which you can climb on board to explore such as a Concorde, the original Air Force One, and a modern Boeing 787 Dreamliner.A variety of military aircraft are also on display including a world war 2 era B-17F Flying Fortress and B-29 Superfortress.
Loved this place, well done and would visit again.
Bloody cool aircraft display area with plenty of planes to see. Would have liked to see more Airbus models alongside all the Boeing but I suppose thatd be a pipe dreamHaha...Loved walking through the Concorde!! Its more cramped than I imagined
Love this museum but dont expect good pictures The openess of the pavilion spoils your photos (too much light filters in)
Dozens of great planes in immaculate condition are parked here. You can even climb into many of them. Air Force One, Concorde are only a few of them. Plan to spend at least 3 hours here. If you like planes and space travel, 5 hours are probably enough but there is always something new you will discover.
I was impressed. Bit pricey, but the experience was great. Almost missed some of the exhibits though. No one helped or was clear about what there was to see.Make sure to go over the bridge, see the shuttle and the larger planes outside like the dreamliner, 747, ect... also the military plane exhibits and the red barn.
So exciting to see all the new additions and great layouts!
Super cool place to visit. So many amazing airplanes to check out. Close to the freeway and easy to get to. A little bit on the pricey side though.
Its just absolutely amazing too much to explain Blue Angels you guys rock respect all of the military you guys are one of a kind
Fantastic selection of planes both just for viewing and for actual walk in. Stand outs include the Concorde Supersonic airliner, the First 747, one of the worlds only airworthy B-17s and the first Air Force One. Several of the walk in planes contain interesting details about the history of the plane but many are also left untouched and are in near perfect condition. Excellent way to walk through a huge chunk of the history of aviation.
This place blew my mind. Aviation buff or not a must stop! Spent most of the day here! Will be back for the Destination Moon exhibit in April.
One of the finest Air Museums in the country, and at reasonable cost.
Great place to venture into and walk through historical planes that were once in service! They are all famous in their own rights; theyre either iconic, the first of their model, a test plant, or all of the above!! You are among and working there planes that built up our current aviation lives!
You get to go in some of the airplanes, and I loved it! I learned a lot and just had a lot of fun too.
All the flight stuff was very cool, tons there. Food on site is ok. Kids will be fine with the food and adults for a snack. The space portion was a little disappointing but still overall its a must see.
So cool. Can go onboard and see so much. Great for kids and adults.
If your an aviation nut, this is the best place
A great place to see a wonderful collection of vinage and current aircraft.
We saw all of the planes from many different years and how they had changed and even walked on the Air force one and the Concord planes.
Always an exceptional experience.I love this museum.
A number of wonderful old airplanes and a newer Boeing 787 that is a true monster sitting next to an older Boeing 737. A number of walk through aircraft as well.
Loved it
World famous airplanes include old Air Force One, Boeing 737, and even latest 787 are shown in this pavilion. Most of planes are allowed to walk inside.
So fun walking on all the older planes!
The Aviation Pavillion has some of the most iconic aircraft in museum quality available for tour. I absolutely loved it.
Outstanding. Plan on a full day here.
The best aviation meusium ever, and well managed. The place has all the jets and space flights you would imagine (but only the old versions). Can easily spend s whole day in it without being bored, and anyway a full day there is the correct way to see the meusium, specially if you have a personal interest towards these things.
Part of the museum of flight, this is a must see as well if you are here.
Plan on a very full day here, so much to see and all very well displayed. Cannot say enough about the docents, knowledgeable and enthusiastic...they add so much to the experience
Probably the only place in the world where you can see a 727, 747, 787, concord and the 707 Air Force one all parked together. Even better is that you can go onboard all of these aircrafts and have a more insightful look. Great museum that takes good care of these aviation gems!
The pavilion is great because you can walk through several of the aircraft parked there, such as a Concorde, Air Force 1, a 747 prototype, and a 787.
Great addition to Boeings Museum of Flight. If you are in Seattle dont miss itn
A great place to visit with kids and adults alike!
Very nicely done..Very informative..
Very interesting!!! Worth the admission fee
Amazing place to visit, you can go inside the planes and walk around.
Must visit very educational
Great Vietnam veterans memorial.
Very interesting with hands on aircraft displays.
Just across the street from the Museum of flight is the predominantly Boring display where you can see the Boring 747, 787, 737, 727 and 707 in addition to the Concorde.
Has changed quite alot since the last time I visted (back in 2008). It is now a covered area.
I love this place
Aviation lovers must see
Love planes a must see.
Parts and machining at there best
Awesome thats about all I can say about the place. You need to see it for yourself.
Collections of aircraft from huge as 747 to small fighter jet.
Fascinated!!!
Great place
Super fun
Fascinating place! So much history here!
