Trunk or treat was awesome! Thank you, Seattle Chocolate. We promise to frequent your location. We didnt know you offer tours with tickets. Will definitely do this soon! We appreciate you! Our kids had fun.
The best most luscious melt in your mouth chocolate in the best flavors! I found them in the Seattle airport on a layover and sample some and fell in love. All the chocolates are so smooth in your mouth feeling with great flavor is my favorite are Champagne has pop rocks in it and the birthday cake and coconut sea salt. I recommend getting variety pack for you and a friend to enjoy !
It was quiet today (because of the pandemic) but their chocolate is always great and theyve got some brand new flavors. Theyre also two flavors/wraps honoring the 100 anniversary of women taking the right to vote. Two thumbs up!
I went to find this place to inquire about tours and see how to get to it. Easy to find with parking out front. Went inside to ask some questions, the employee was helpful and friendly. Going to book a tour for a day date, looks to be a great place and inexpensive to see!! At this point I would recommend going...
Tour was relatively cheap at 10 dollars per person and it nets you a 10% discount on purchases in their store. The tour was informative and you get to taste some chocolate, so its hard to go wrong. The discount definitely helps as youll be hard pressed to not spend a ton of money on all of their crazy varieties.
A friend sent me a set of 6 different chocolate bars as a gift, and they were all delicious. It was a nice variety of complimentary flavors. I will checking out their website for more treats soon!
I wanted to make a 1lb bag of champagne and blackberry creme truffles as a UW graduation gift, but was worried that I wouldnt be able to due to COVID-19. I emailed them a request and they replied very quickly that they were able to make a baggie for me! They are using a contact-free curbside pickup, which involves calling to inform them you are at the factory. They place your candy on a shelf outside their door, and then you can get out of the car to pick it up. The 1lb bag is super cute, plus they threw in a couple freebie truffles to sample :)
Great chocolate. Fun tours! Go on Saturdays and pick up bags of seconds!
Lovely selection of fresh chocolates. Excellent variety. Service was prompt, friendly and helped direct us toward flavors we prefer.
Nice retail shop. Super friendly employees. The tour was interesting but sadly, the tour guide was a bit dry and boring, very nice though. Although, I could have done without him telling us several times that when hes in trouble with his girlfriend he brings her her favorite chocolate bar... The first time was okay, it fit in, but the other 2 or 3 times, just too much. I would still recommend the tour though and you also get free samples!
I like their chocolate my only problem is the chocolate is not tempered properly. Are used to work at a chocolate factory and when your chocolate has a glaze of white on it it means the temperature wasn’t done correctly. And I feel like this is with all of their chocolate.
Love their chocolate. Nice staff. You would think because it is the factory you would get deals but not so much. A few things from the past holiday were on sale but no deals.
Great selection, I wanted literally everything. And the stuff I had tried was great.
This place is amazing! During October, they have a haunted chocolate factory tour with amazing actors, then normally, they have chocolate factory tours with amazing samples. I have done the haunted factory one twice, and the normal one once, and would definitely do both of them again multiple times. Did I also mention how delicious their chocolate is? Definitely stop by if you have a free day
Great staff, great selection and of course a great chocolates.
Great chocolates at a reasonable price.
The milk choc truffle is nice and smooth. I enjoyed the moon rocks bar, my husband like the espresso truffle, and my daughter liked the birthday cake batter truffle. There are tours that are an hour long but times werent posted so when we arrive it was 10:30 and the next wasnt until 12. We werent gonna wait around for that so maybe well be back another day.
This place is great! It is a hidden gem in the suburbs of Seattle! I have been purchasing their chocolates for over 6 years now and I love all the flavors! We have visited this location multiple times and have not left disappointed! I have taken both the regular tour and haunted factory tour and I was great!!! The San Juan Sea salt truffle is awesome as well as the champagne one! FYI-I would recommend planning your tour in advance! A must for the Seattle traveler to bring home some goods to remember your trip here!!!
$10 bags of chocolate on Saturdays is a wonderful, economical treat!
Did the chocolate tour which was very informative and you get to try a lot of their chocolates. Inventive flavors and lots of options for every palette. Yum!
I took a group of my High School student here for a field trip and they enjoyed it very much. The staff was very kind, patient, and welcoming. I would highly recommend Seattle Chocolates.
Lucious chocolates are here.
Great customer service. A large variety of flavors. Get as little or as much as you want. Build your own 3 pack is the way to go. The Rainier cherry was exceptional
Amy was fun and informative. Took my girlfriend here for valentines day for their chocolate factory tour. Cant wait to come back for wine & chocolate night and their haunted Halloween tour.
We discovered this candy company this summer. Unfortunately, we went for a tour without a reservation. We couldnt wait until later the same day so we scheduled a tour another day. We did buy some candy and were very impressed with the creaminess of the chocolate and the flavoring in candies that truly tasted like what the flavor should taste like.
One of the best places to buy your favorite chocolate
We had a great time on the chocolate tour. The host was passionate and engaging, the chocolate samples were generous, and it was very informational. Great location near the airport if you have some time before a flight.
The factory tour experience was very informative, with fun chocolate facts and awesome to see in production. Easy to get to, convenient location, and parking. Shop is set up with great seasonal displays. There is definitely something for everyone who loves chocolate!
We really enjoy Seattle Chocolate and decided to do the factory tour. Our host was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. The tour included various samples and a 10% discount coupon off our next purchase. Awesome chocolate and nice to see the sustainability initiatives.
Amazing chocolate with so many flavors, you will be surprised. Little bit expensive... Good customer service, I had a coupon, and I didnt know theyre not using that coupon anymore, but sale person asked manager, and they honor me to use it. I spent $50 but made lots of people happy (I was traveling, so little sweet gifts from Seattle). My last visit I took my friend to shop and store looks beautiful after remodeling.
Wonderful company. Ive run into several reps while working various retail jobs and every one is friendly.Products are excellent and customer service is great.
Mouth-watering chocolates.
Had a fantastic time! Nick gave a really great and informative tour. The chocolate was delicious (all flavors)! Definitely looking to make a annual or quarterly stop by Seattle Chocolates. There isnt a enough I can say about the owner, the process, the experience, etc; it is well worth a visit/tour.
I really love their chocolates! But I really think there should be a scale out in the open for the bulk chocolate. If Im going to pay 24 dollars for a pound of assorted chocolate goodies, I wanna make sure its really a pound. Sometimes when I go thru I feel shenanigans afoot! Just sayin, still love this place tho!
I live locally and went on a whim for my birthday weekend with my family. Outside has plenty of parking and looks unassuming. But once you get inside, the retail and classroom area are pretty fun and modern. The tour was was engaging and informative. Our tour guide, Chris, really knew his stuff and was able to answer some pretty complex questions from our group. I was impressed. No cameras are allowed once you get into the production area but there are definitely gram-able opportunities in the retail area and in the classroom.I hear you get to witness a little bit more factory action Monday-Friday. But we went during a non-production day and still had a great time on the tour. I would highly recommend the Seattle Chocolate tour for birthdays, a day with your pals, or for anyone looking for a unique Northwest experience.Pro-Tip: Check the event calendar and try to book a tour during one of their events or sales.I think this flagship store is pretty new and Im excited to see what events theyll have in the future. Looks like theyve already held Halloween events and even pop-up dinners. Id love to see them do a wine and chocolate tasting. Regardless, I wish I had known about this place sooner.
Had a great time here on the factory tour! Fun, interactive, and tasty. They give you many chocolate samples, explain their sourcing process, and tour the small factory itself. The store area is open to anyone, and is tastefully and minimally arranged.
Excellent customer experience...great variety of different chocolates. Love that they are small batches
Seattle chocolates is a neat place that has a great showroom and also provides a tour of their facility.i really enjoy seeing processes and learning how things are made. The chocolate is delicious also. Well done Seattle Chocolates!
Super fun place to take a tour with your whole family. The workers their are super friendly. A lot of good chocolates to try. A lot of free samples. If you have allergies just let them know and they are more than happy to accommodate. They also teach you a lot interesting facts. Limited parking but should be enough spots. Fyi the factory usually are not going during the weekend. You will have to goes regular hours on the weekday to get to see the people and machines working in the factory.
It a good place to buy chocolate.
We stopped here on our way to the airport to get some gifts for friends. The store was nice and simple. My only complaint was the price for the chocolate. I would think that the price would be cheaper at the factory where they dont have to ship anything, but it wasnt. At the factory the price for a chocolate bar was $4.50. At my local grocery store it is $3.79.
Great place, free samples, and way better than Sees. The people there are delightful too
Wine and chocolate tasting day. The pairing was perfect. However, I couldve used a little more wine, but that was the worst thing I can say. I specialty chocolate was wonderful, white and a dark chocolate- jcoco cayenne orange and nobel dark.
Highly recommend this place. There are a lot varieties of milk and dark chocolate in this place, also there are samples of some new flavor that you can try before you decide to buy. I personally think is worth it.
They have a wide variety of chocolates, and offer plenty of samples. I went in to get a coworker a small gift and Nick made a number of suggestions, very upbeat and helpful. Purchased a small variety and gift was well received. Ill be going back for myself soon. They also offer tours of their factory. They are a bit pricey, but still a great place for a last minute gift for a chocolate lover. Plenty of free parking is also a plus.
Very fun tour, but call ahead to make sure you go on a day when the machines are in full swing.
I went on a tour it was very nice and informative and have 10 samples the staff was very nice everything was very clean and pleasant .
Since this is a negative review, Ill start with the positive: The tasting portion of the tour is cute and does give a good overall view of the product and variety. Also, I noticed that management only responds to positive reviews, so Ill attempt that first.Disappointed from the moment I made the reservation. Made a reservation for 2 p.m. arrived and found out that the person at the front desk had made a mistake and transcribed our reservation for the day after at 2 p.m. The staff was accommodating after some argument on my part but in all honesty the overall price for three people to go to a chocolate factory is kind of exorbitant. The average chocolate bar goes for $7.50 a piece and after seeing the overall efficiency problems of the facility I can see why. The staff does its best to try and cover up the fact that theres a lot of waste on the product line and spent chocolate on the floor and in buckets and then gloss over some of the other issues that seem to be sticking out when theyre running product. While we were watching their one chocolate lines a woman had gone on break and nobody was bothering with the boats that floated by with chocolate. After she returned she then proceeded to sprinkle whatever product inside the boats but during the time she was absent nothing had happened, therein leaving those chocolates improperly labelled. They do spend a lot of time on the rainforest Alliance and that somehow this ties into the fact that theyre charging this much for chocolates but I honestly didnt see why I as a consumer should care for their antics.Definitely not my thing and will definitely avoid their products in stores since Im not someone who subsidizes this sort of ineffencicy.
Nice and fun. It by no means is a Willie Wonka level of fun but informational and worthwhile.
Love love love chocolate. This store makes it easy to stock up. So many varieties. Great gifts.
Fun tour and tasty treats.
Super cute and fun shop! The workers were super helpful and friendly!!! The most flavorful chocolate ever!!!!!!
We went as a family activity, we enjoyed the tour and the birthday gift was very sweet for 2 people in our party. Our tour guide and everyone was very helpful and friendly. Thanks for making our trip enjoyable.
A must do stop for chocolate souvenirs to bring back home! I particularly like the truffles myself, but there are a lot of other choices.
I love this little chocolate store - I learned a lot more about history and making it with their tour which had a bunch of samples and fun to do with my mom. I try to come on Saturdays for the bulk sale every chance I can!
Great place to shop!
Tourist TRAP. Place is tiny and tour is not worth it for $10 each. Host is unpleasant and NO fun. Whole experience is definitely not worth my familys time and money.
Had a great time touring the factory and sampling the various chocolates. Brought home a few gifts for friends and a some for my family and me.
Beautiful company, great values and amazing chocolate!!!
Haunted Factory Tour 2018 was excellent. Walking down the long, dark corridor between giant shelves full of boxes was spooky all by itself, and the actors were kind enough to customize the experience to be less scary for my group including children, and clearly more scary for the adult groups ahead of us. The quest part of the tour was really great to involve the kids. Also, wonderful chocolate at the end of the tour!
Yummy chocolates with option to mix and match your selection.
I walked here while I was getting my tires changed and the ladies working were friendly and attentive. They have a great variety of samples and lovely gift options. Ill be coming back the next time a chocolate loving friend is in need of a gift.
About 20 varieties of chocolate. Excellent tour for people of all ages.
Seattle Chocolate is Seattles Great Hidden Treasure; plus original unique flavors.
Weve done their tour two times now, bringing out of town guests each time. Its not a huge store or a huge factory, but the quality of the chocolate and service definitely make it a place to visit in the Seattle area. Weve had so much fun during both tours. The tour guides really enjoy their job and love to answer questions. You learn about chocolate from the farm to the production line and beyond. And who doesnt love tasting samples of chocolate from beginning to end (if you dont, then this tour is not for you). In fact, you get to try samples of their chocolate even before the tour begins. The store is very generous in letting you try before you buy, which has led to us buying flavors we probably wouldnt have bought otherwise. The cost of the tour is affordable, plus you get 10% off of your purchase when you turn in your comment card at the end of the tour. One thing to keep in mind: the production line only makes chocolate Monday through Thursday, and, at times, they may be done with production at the time of your tour. So, if you care about seeing the machines in action, call before you make your reservation. The store staff were so helpful during our last visit, especially our guide Chris, trying to make it the best experience for us.
A Seattle secret delight: you can get factory prices, sometimes unique flavors in large chunks and plain wrapping for a killer price.
Good tour! Learned more about chocolate.
Absolutely the best chocolate! I have bought dark and milk, with or without nuts and fruits! I think their secret is the quality of cacao and their ingredients! My absolute favorites are dark chocolate pistachio and peanut butter bars! Yummy! If you are in Seattle airport, they have a stand!
We had a very knowledgable tour guide who took us through the whole process of making their chocolate. We started in a room with a video of where it all starts and a liquid sample, toured the factory with a sample of their truffle, and ended in another room with several more samples. Their chocolate is delicious and they have seasonal flavors which Ive never seen before. It was hard not to buy one of each!
I showed up after closing and Amy put what she was doing aside to help me pick out a gift. Thanks for staying open late to help out a customer.
Factory with company store. They offer tours which sounds fun. We only had time to shop. Good chocolate.
Chris is great! Very knowledgeable.
This used to be a really neat place. You could go on and buy bulk chocolate. However the last time i was there it had become more like a tourist trap. Very disappointing
I really like many things about this company. I love how it is a women owned company, how their chocolate is kosher, the variety of flavors and the beautiful packaging. I bought a Birthday Cake Truffle Bar today and I am disappointed it was not good. There was almost no birthday cake flavor to it at all, just crunchy (sprinkles maybe) in the middle, but those too did not add anything to the taste of the bar. I really hope i just chose a flavor that just wasnt good, because I really want to like this companys chocolate.
Absolutely no customer service skills. Just spent 60 bucks worth on chocolate and left unsatisfied. Asked the sales person for another bags, thinking the bags was kind of overflowing it is 60 bucks worth of chocolate after all that is a bit, and the was questioned on my I needed another bag. The twist tie was half done without any effort. It could have spill ed all over the car. Would not buy again. Sorry Seattle chocolate your not getting my money again.
Never thought shopping chocolates could be so much fun! Susana, Janet and Tess at Seatac airport are very helpful and cheerful. Its my first time here and my recent purchase was the moonrocks and some truffles! the holiday collection is really good too! I recommend to check this store whenever ur in Seatac Airport! Im definitely coming back!
Not worth the money. Good company but 10.00 a person. They are also limited on yours so call ahead. Last one is at 1:00 .
Great customer service. Very clean.
Their chocolate is all amazing! You can buy their products at the Factory Store, they sell factory seconds periodically (which we use for snacking or to make the most decadent hot chocolate), & their Factory Tour is great. We learned about cacao growing, processing, & saw the machines and people that make the chocolate.
A lot has changed since my last visit. I do like how theyve displayed the items within their retail showroom. I wish there was more options for tasting though. They had two this time, a pumpkin spiced latte milk chocolate and I believe the other was a dark chocolate. But in general, they have a wide variety of flavors, I wish there was more opportunity to try more than just two. Smaller pieces for sampling would aid in this perhaps. The ones I tried were fairly large pieces and I didnt want/need that much to experience the flavor. But I do want to note that there was some kind of tasting event happening behind the retail shop, with only a glass wall departing the two. So you could see about 4-6 people listening and then trying chocolates. So parking was easy, and the customer service was pleasant. They do sell the leftover/excess cholocate bags on Saturdays, $5 a Bag. Great bang for your buck.
Great delicious selection
Theyve got free samples! Who doesnt love free samples? On Fridays you can get a decent size bag of chocolate for $10. Beside those Friday deals, theres good selection of dark / milk, and interesting flavors like champagne which has pop rocks in them. If youre in the area and you got 20 mins to kill go check it out.
Went during their anniversary sale and they had amazing sales and great samples. Im not a big chocolate fan but these are my favorite truffles.
Our next door neighbors visited your store and brought me back a box of your assorted chocolate truffles they were so good. I will be ordering from you soon..THANK YOU FROM...Albuquerque N.M. Keep up the good work...Annabell Molina-Muñiz
Some of the best chocolate ever. I messed up my tour reservation and showed up on the wrong day. Sweet Ariel gave us a practice tour as she is new and needed guinea pigs. This guinea was thankful she look my cacao and turned it into chocolate. She did a great job!
Great variety and good samples too!
