Nice lake. Plenty of activities for families, picnics, or peace & tranquility.

We were there for a 4 yo birthday party. Play area was nice and clean. It ended up being a nice day temp wise with a breeze. Our only complaint was bees. Bees literally took over the party. We moved the garbage can in hopes that would help but it did not. Not sure if parks and recs need to spray or maybe remove a bees nest before someone allergic gets stung.

Very beautiful park. An almost unbelievably nice fishing lake. Many trails and miles of walking to enjoy. Plenty of wild life, plants, and views to take in. Be mindful of rattle snakes!

A beautiful park to walk through. Lots of people fishing! I dont know how clean the pond water is but it looks nice. I got attacked by fire ants but that was my own fault!

Its a really great place to go. Playground for the kids and nice lake (stocked with fish) .

Nice park for metal detecting, the finds are starting to dry up. If you are patient you mY have some luck, but not as in the past.

This is a community lake park i really think it neefs improvement no shade always seems to be dirty and ive yet to see or catch a fish.

Great place to walk and fish and watch birds. Lots of picnic areas and a swimming pool, which closed for the Covid pandemic. Also has sports fields and an outdoor concert stage. A large park and a wonderful community asset.

Very nice area with a nice lake. Wouldnt swim in the water but good for fishing/boating. Could use more tree cover and less folks littering. Overall its a very calm and enjoyable spot.

Its a good park. But too many homeless people come or drunks and drug users. Its not very safe all the time due to it.

I like coming to John F. Kennedy park. Just to kinda get away from the noisy city. Its small, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Its always a quick little pit stop for to clear my head and do some thinking. Like I said its enjoyable and relaxing especially to unwind after driving all day.

Landscape needs work and too many reefs in the water.

Always a great time watching the ducks swim.

Dirty. Gross water. Retry to look at when the sun reflects off of it. Try magnet fishing...you can probably catch some evidence.

Great Park In Tucson Az If you feel like getting away from the City this Park offers a number of things to do. Many many ramadas Pool available a lake Sport Fields and Trails. Not to forget the best view of South Tucson.

Caught a large mouth bass and a very large catfish that got away lol however it was great loved it and the atmosphere over this area was like an oases in the desert very pleasant and peaceful i definitely recommend it if you want to relax fish or even have an event withthe family overall a delightful plave to visit

I had no idea that there was a Swimming Pool at Kennedy Park, but I WILL be checking to see if theres any INFO on the Opening and Use of the Pool

The lake had a bunch of metal trash cans thrown into it. There were several dead fish along the edge of the lake. The natural algae was dying off and floating off to the edge the reeds. They were obviously trying to do something with the lake, hopefully trying to fix the ecosystem, as evidenced by the severely cut back reeds and trees that were piled up near the east side of the lake.Called in an injured Coot while I was there. Thankfully they were able to pick it up, along with one that was also deceased, to hopefully find out what happened to them. But learned something new, Coots arent ducks at all. Theyre their own type of bird! So theres that for our Sunday stroll through the park. Hopefully they bring it back to the way it used to be....

A very well maintained park wit a lake that i at times stocked with Catfish and trout.

Has some great views, fun for kiddos too since u can(try to) fish, feed the ducks & the lil water birds, and it has the perfect size pond to walk my pups around the perimeter of!Just be aware of the trash that litters both the land and water...I bring a tall kitchen trash bag with me whenever I go, and it is almost always completely full by the time I go full circle n get back to the car....

They have several homeless people camped out. It did not feel safe to me. If you go there dont go alone. Trees are nice and the location is ok. Keeping it real

Nice park to barbecue and take the kids to the playground. You can also take a jumper if your having a birthday party.

Nice. Some trash here and there. Good for small kids. Big areas, nice to throw a football. Lots of baseball fields. One covered playground.

Brand new playground. Awesome for fieldtrips & everyday fun!

Nice place to come and hang out. There several jomeless here, however, they seem pretty harmless and are just trying to get from one day to the next...be kind to them, maybe offer them a sandwich.

Great golden nugget most people just drive past everyday. Picnics, parties or reunions a little piece of desert child friendly parkland. Covered picnic tables in multiple groups. Still not sure how to rent or reserve one from the city. Parking for hiking also.

Theres a library and party spots and even a small man made lake for fishing

Lakes are beautiful. Bathrooms are kind of gross. Hard to catch any fish. But really nice area for a picnic.

Crazy shirtless guy pacing back and forth talking to himself. I now call him Crazy Larry. Well Crazy Larry was not very happy with himself apparently because he kept on talking to himself and responding to himself. 3 stars because it makes for good people watching. Just a quick word of advice, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE.

Only giving 4 stars because they have the new playground, finally!!! The other old playground is still there, always lots of bees. Plenty or shaded area, baseball park, basketball court, tennis. Love this park. Always packed on the weekends.

Good place to spend time with your family grandkids your children when theyre growing up I remember back in the day you could cruises hope Park good memories.

Back in the day this place was scandalous and if you had nothing better to do-Kennedy had parties up the wazoo-most like after you heard about it at ampm. It was a little crazy, but it’s calmed down since. If you’re in the center towards the pond/lake it’s usually better Ramada wise for bday parties. The parks pretty big but not as fancy as Reid park. Cool place to drink a 40, munch on some pizza, and smoke a blunt tho too

Nice area to walk hangout and fish but the bathroom is absolutely gruesome, utter filth, never going into a Kennedy bathroom again.

Wish it had more trees near the water(shade for fishing ) still one of my favorite places.

Very nice views, lots of shade and perfect place to rent a ramada. The lake is beautiful and park has playground and soccer field. Perfect park for events and family gatherings.

Great runaway place

I dont dislike the park, it needs more attention on the landscape and roads need more attention. A cement wall way would be nice around the lake.

This park is amazing! Please dont go there. The lake is crystal clear, teaming with fish, and it looks terrible.The nature walks through the vegetation are a terrible experience. Stay away!

Awesome place to walk your dogs. Places to sit, can grill. The bathroom however doesnt have soap or hand sanitizer, not even sure about TP. Improve on that and I will gladly give a 5th star.

Lots of drunken seemingly homeless people near the library. However, the other areas seem safe enough during the day. Good for a family cookout.

My kids love this little old lake....its right next to the Tucson mountains....it is well kept, theres fishing, and plenty of space for a picnic and the ducks are always fun to feed. theres no grass, because it is essentially a mountain park.

Wandered around for a bit, great place to walk but I might go later in the day next time for the heat.

Clean park. Nice for a pick nick or family get together. Fishing allowed but as many times as Ive been Ive only got 1 turtle and a few pan fish. Not my choice for beginners fishing if you want a catch quick try Lakeside but they do stock here and people have cough there limits on catfish. Bass bite here but I dont bass fish.

Visited during the week post-Labor Day; thus, it was very quiet w/a few people fishing around the lake. Lots of picnic tables (most under small, shaded concrete platforms), trash receptacles and water fountains. Beach was very clean (no swimming) and playground seemed well-maintained. Not officially a dog park, but sandy shore is nice respite (vs. hot asphalt) for walking dogs.
