This park is a lovely oasis in the Sonoran desert. The water, palm trees, birds, and turtles are fun to look at from the various benches spread throughout the park. There are also spots to grill. There is plenty of space to socially distance, however I am looking forward to the end of Covid so that the museum and other buildings can reopen.

Visited Agua Clients Park today to meet up with some friends. This was my first visit to the Park and I was quite impressed. Its very pleasant with ample seating available for a small group with park benches. The weather was perfect with wa temperature and light breezes. Very enjoyable Ill be back again some time.

If you go during non peak hours, youll see some wildlife! We saw a crane and a few turtles. It looks like its own little island of palm trees and water. Shaded picnic tables and nice facilities. A great place for kids on a hot day.

A great place to see the sunset, take a walk, natural spring water ponds in Arizona are rare, this one in Tucson is not only beautiful but a part of our ecosystem that helps wildlife live in our harsh environment. It also was originally an orchard/farm and is a piece of history. IT IS ALSO HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE & I TAKE MY 90 YEAR MOM FOR WALKS HERE!

We used to live out by Agua Caliente Park. We always took my two nieces when they were growing up.I havent been there in years. I took to friends there today who arent from Tucson. They just loved it, and I love how they have fixed it up so over the years without making it to clean. It still looks like the way that Im sure it might have looked way back when.

Indeed it is a unique park like someone else stated. I had never been to Agua Caliente Park so I though that I would give it a go. It was my first time and maybe the last unfortunately. Or in this case it was a bad time to go because it looked like they were undergoing lots of renovations. The nice pond that I saw in photos has been dug up and is bone dry. Too bad because it would have been nice. That initial area once you enter the park is great! I can only imagine once the pond is full of water again. The other pond wasn’t really anything special. There were lots of fish and turtles as well. The turtles were very skittish and it was difficult to snap a photo. Lots of trails seemed to be closed to the public because of aforementioned renos. Too bad. For me I can’t see returning because it’s quite the drive for me but for people that live nearby it’s a nice little oasis. ️

Absolutely beautiful Park. Has at least three different plans / legs that contain turtles ducks and other fish. They are all currently being drained and cleaned in preparation for restocking.Area is so quiet with plenty of trees, benches, ramadas, and other facilities. Found eorking water fountains, grills, trash cans, and historical information on display. Park is open during as of May 22nd 2020 and had a low volume of people. 10/10 stars. Absolutely amazing place to spend your afternoon or whole day!!

This is the best, most peaceful park in Tucson. I have been there once, and u absolutely loved it! The water has this unique tint to it which looks so vibrant, and it photographs so well. The variety of turtles are amazing. I absolutely loved the house and the art center. Some of the trails feel so old-world and eerie. If you have the time and means to get there, 8 highly suggest a few hours to fully explore, enjoy, and decompress at this absolute gem of Tucson.

It really is quite a beautiful park. The snow storm intensified the beauty considerably. All of the critters and creatures stirring about on the property seemed carefree of human presence. The ducks and other water fowl were definitely entertaining to watch throughout the snow storm. Both my lady and I were rather surprised how busy the park actually was. The majority of the visitors were couples taking in a beautiful walk in a beautiful setting. Ive been to this park dozens of times, and without a doubt this was the greatest experience! And as usual, the park was very clean and the landscape was maintained in a eco-friendly style. Well done! I will be returning again soon...

What a shiny gem of Tucson area hiding in the desert. Nice walking trails, great waterfront area, and great picnic or day use area. One of the trails is covered with branches from a grove of trees, what romantic walks I had with my wife. More than enough parking. Buildings are used for classes held on wildlife and other items of interested for the area. Everyone should make an effort to visit this part and have a nice picnic or lunch in the shade of the palm trees near the water, it is well worth the drive.

Facilities are clean but basic. Great place for families and dog friendly. The pond is surrounded by large palm trees and full of ducks turtles and fish. A refreshing sight for someone thats been traveling through the desert. With its location being close to Saguaro National Park and the admission being free its worth a stop. Theres nothing here but the park so dont expect to come and have lunch or dinner unless youre picnicking. I wouldnt travel far out of my way to visit this site but if youre coming out of the National Park its a good addition.
