Took my son and his friends and did the CIA room. Very well designed!They had a blast and I had a great time watching them try to figure things out. It exceeded my expectations as well as my teen son and his friends. They said it was the best escape room theyve been to yet. Wont give anything away. I will say, they were only one step away from their escape. They didnt make it. Go check it out.

First time doing an escape room. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Had a blast in the Elfing around room. Challenging and fun!! Definitely will go back!!

Played with 4 players in CIA room and solved with 2 clues in 54 minutes. Guide was very clear on rules and game expectations. Very fun!

Had a wonderful time here staff are amazing and really funny. My friend and I did their CIA room we failed but came pretty close. Highly recommend this establishment and look forward to doing more escape rooms.

Had a blast. Went with my family and enjoyed it so much we talked about for a couple hours afterwards. Will plan on doing again. A great activity to do on a hot day when you dont want to be outside. We did their CIA room and the trick is to look in the ................... just kidding not going to spoil it.

We had a wonderful time here. The staff was friendly and welcoming and was taking plenty of precautions for COVID related concerns.Having never done one of these before it was more of a challenge that expected. We did finish with 4 minutes to spare, but had you use a couple clues.Great time, glad we could still get out of the house and have something fun to do.

Never would have considered this place for a birthday event. Im considering it for my birthday in a few months. I highly recommend Down The Rabbit Hole!

Down the rabbit hole is a great local spot, the staff was very nice and enthusiastic about the room and the room was a lot of fun! We did the CIA run and got a time of 37:14. Definitely will consider going bacck to try the other rooms, our group wants to try 221B (The down the rabbit hole room). If you enjoy escape the rooms or want to try one out, would highly recommend giving this place a shot.

It was a great time for us as a first time to an escape room, although we didnt escape in time & we chose one of the harder rooms according to the DTRH game master! Would definitely go again!

If youve never done an escape room, its a definite must if you are into solving puzzles. If you enjoy being around people and working together or if you want to make people work together a great place and agree event to try. They have four different rooms at the moment and they are all as fun and hard as the next one. We had a pretty large group with us. And the staff was very friendly and very accommodating. We had a total of 13 people with us and 10 of them did the escape room. Everyone that did the escape room had great fun. They all mentioned how tough it was but how fun it was to try to figure out your escape plan and all of the clues that you had to go through. This is our second time being at this escape room and its always fun. Recommend making reservations if you have a large group. And they will be more than happy to accommodate you. They also offer a party room, that you may run out for a price. Room that you may rent outFor a price. You could bring your own food and beverages and rent it out for an hour. Either before you do your escape room or after. I thought that was a pretty neat thing. We did not rent the room at this time but we will definitely do that next time. Prices are reasonable, but more than that the memories that you will have will be forever.

Was super awesome, well organized, and our game master was amazing and super helpful. We had a lot of fun! Would recommend to anyone looking to try an escape room.

My friends and I have completed a number of the rooms at Down the Rabbit Hole. The rooms are well put together, aesthetically pleasing, and fun to do. The hosts are helpful and fun to work with. Id recommend it for date night, families, friends, and co-workers.

My birthday was yesterday and I really have been wanting to do an escape room, we booked our from about a week ago and me and my friends were really excited. I had my friends over the night before and while we were getting ready they changed the time on us giving us no time to get there. Ruined my bday.

Some buddies and I who have never done an escape room did the asylum room, and it was awesome! They gave us a briefing before going into the room about some props not to move due to being delicate, or unnecessary. They have some props from the time period (1920’s) that are nearly 100 years old to fit in with the theme. It is plain the creators took pride in creating a detailed and unique room. I can’t say too much without spoilers, but trust me it’s cool, and they succeeded in making the ambiance creepy. We did need to use all the hints, but pretty much they were simple things we didn’t think to check or take note of. The puzzles were fun, and trying to figure out what was relevant or not was fun too! What I really liked about it was the riddles, that the locks can be solved in any order, and the different types of locks. Our group scraped out of there with a minute left. Unfortunately we already had second one gifted to us through Groupon, but in the future we will buy directly from the shop so the creators get more of the profit for their hard work. We will definitely be going back, and are excited to see the new room they are working on when it comes out.

I loved this place, went with my wife and inlaw and they are from NY and loved it!Only thing I didnt like was the room was too small, I think it could have been bigger and that was my assumption.Expansion definitely needed I think for people who love to come back and bring visitors from out of town back!.Neither the less awesome place to see and try

We drove down from Phoenix to celebrate a birthday. Owner quoted one price to rent the room and said it would be a “little more” for additional people. The “little more” turned out to be $60 more.

We are big lovers of escape rooms, but this was easily the worst room we have ever tried. We did the CIA room, and it was so convoluted to the point that it was not even fun. We used all three of our clues and still couldnt progress without help. We are not stupid or incompetent, this room was just not designed well at all. I would not recommend this company to anyone. It was really disappointing too because we had some first timers with us, but the experience was so poor that they may never want to try another one. Very upset- total waste of money.

We went as a Christmas team outing and it was an amazing experience! Deanna was awesome to work with and she made our group love the experience even more!!!

Felt the puzzles to be a bit misleading but still had fun overall

This place is awesome. Very thought provoking. Super sleuths and puzzle solvers would enjoy this. Cant wait until we come back.

Update: They showed me the records that Bookify was the one that messed up and sent them the wrong time. They compensated us for the room and offered my daughter a free room. Will give them another try. But urge everyone to avoid Bookify!We booked a room for my daughter and 5 of her friends. Their parents dropped them off and they arrived to find that this place had messed up the schedule and didn’t have a room available. We booked on 11/09 for the 23rd at 6:00, plenty of time. Long story short, my daughter was embarrassed and the kids had to call their parents to pick them up again.

Omg this was an amazing experience! We did the Asylum room and had so much fun working together as a family to solve everything. Room is very detailed! Definitely coming back.

One of the rules in the employees’ opening spiel was, for legal reasons, not to stick anything in the electrical outlets. After trying this escape room, I see why someone would have wanted to do that in the first place.This escape room is rife with problems. In our one hour, we encountered locks don’t respond to the correct codes, unhelpful staff hints, and, more than anything, outlandishly cryptic puzzles that are nothing more than trial and error.If you’re looking for a good escape room in Tucson, check out Fox in a Box. Or just lock yourself in a room; I promise you’ll have more fun.EDIT: I cross-posted this review to Down the Rabbit Hole’s Facebook page, and they deleted it shortly after. Don’t trust all the positive reviews they have! The good reviews only seem like a majority because they erase reviews they don’t like.

We went in the asylum room. It was very small but we still had a lot of fun. I look forward to trying one of the other rooms.

Unfortunately this room was small and there was way too many people in it. Our guide was also a little bit snide and cryptic. I understand that hes very smart and this was a very complicated room we did. But it just felt unsatisfying and I wouldnt go there again.

This was my first escape room experience and it was great. I highly recommend Down the Rabbit Hole.

My group did the Ante Up room and were severely disappointed. The logic puzzles are not really logical - its more trial and error. By the time we got to the final puzzle, we were completely bored because we were never going to figure out how to solve it. This is the fourth escape room Ive done in Tucson. Its the only one my group hasnt been able to figure out, and its definitely the one in which we had the least fun. Im not at all tempted to go back and try their other options.I also want to add that the reviews on Facebook are likely skewed because this place has deleted negative reviews on that page. Its not an honest representation of the business.

We played two of the escape rooms this weekend, Ante_Up and Asylum. We failed both rooms and broke a really long winning streak. We are now 14 wins - 3 losses (2 of those losses being here this weekend). The couples that run this business are fantastic and very friendly. Every time we play a new place, we get a completely different experience, which is good and Down the Rabbit Hole was no exception. Overall, you should do these rooms, you will have a great time.I have a few reason for not giving it 5-stars, there is a gamemaster in the room with you.....that must be a Tucson thing because other than in Tucson, we have not experienced a gamemaster in the room. I always feel like they are making sure we dont rob or destroy anything when they are in the room....I dont like that feel. However, Im going to admit that maybe in this room you need a gamemaster because these rooms are not always logical, they do require some guesswork and/or prior knowledge (both rooms), not a lot, but some. I would have liked each room to have been a totally different experience, it shared one aspect in particular that simply wasnt needed in Ante Up but totally required in Asylum. This could be fixed by adding additional puzzles to the first room to make it 100% different.
